Vice President, Facilities Management Executive President & CEO
Responsibilities: Manage employees, contractors, and/or supervisors in the operation and maintenance of buildings and grounds. Develop and implement business processes that ensure cost efficient facility operations and minimize/eliminate unplanned infrastructure and building systems downtime. Develop and manage facility operating budget. Develop short and long term facility utilization plans. Manage, at the departmental level, loss and injury prevention programs and compliance with environmental, health and safety standards. Manage security, alarm and fire suppression/detection systems and ensure compliance to applicable building, fire, electrical, mechanical systems standards and codes. Provide oversight for capital projects and coordinate with local project managers. Develop and oversee effective cost management processes associated with maintaining the facility, equipment and furnishings. Develop facility operations and maintenance policies, procedures and work instructions. Assist with any additional duties, responsibilities, or special projects as direct by the President/CEO. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 5 years relevant experience. Experience in relevant facilities and/or field required. Professional business abilities including report writing, written, oral, interpersonal, supervisory, problem solving and organizational skills. Proficiency with computers as well as general business procedures is necessary. Problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task is required. Working Conditions Ability to work long hours, nights and weekends during peak periods is required. Volume of work is periodically high. Must have the ability to work in a high-stress environment. Must be able to cover long distances in potentially inclement conditions. May be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
