UTI are bacterial infections in the bladder that cause a burning sensation when urinating and often lead to urinary urgency.
A urinary tract infection occurs in any part of the urinary system, such as the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Usually, infections occur in the lower urinary tract and affect the bladder and the urethra.
There are several different types of UTIs including bladder infections, kidney infections, and urethritis.
