This class adapts practice to suit each person’s condition, experience and needs. It incorporates gentle movements, postures, and relaxation techniques to increase strength and flexibility, improve posture, and provide a sense of vitality, well being and deep tranquility. GENTLE SOMATIC YOGA (Age 18+) 4 Weeks

Create a deep reservoir of wellness in body and mind with this modern yoga practice designed to increase your awareness of the relationship between mind, body and soul. Learn to bring your curiosity to your everyday experience during our yoga practice that blends Somatic and Hatha yoga modalities to help you increase flexibility, integrate left and right sides of the body, and build strength while giving you effective tools for relaxation. All levels welcome. Bring a yoga mat and clothes that allow for movement. Min 14 Max 25 Instructor: Gay Dawson, nationally certified Registered Yoga Teacher with a strong background in dance and movement principles, and lives at Ananda Seva ashram in Bennett Valley where movement, meditation and teaching are the fabric of her daily life.

Enjoy a complete Vinyasa Yoga fitness program for total well-being!
