Šos vārdus izcilais latviešu dzejnieks un domātājs Rainis, šķiet, ir veltījis tieši mūsu, Rīgas Tehniskās universitātes, jaunajiem zinātniekiem, kas ik dienu un ik stundu pierāda, ka viņu griba veltīt savu dzīvi zinātnei ir ļoti liela. Par spīti bieži vien plānajam zinātnes ikdienas maizes riecienam mūsu doktoranti ir aizrautīgi nodevušies pētniecībai, garas un nereti nogurdinošas stundas pavadot laboratorijās, eksperimentējot un cenšoties atklāt aizvien jaunus un jaunus apvāršņus izraudzītajā zinātnes nozarē. Šī uzcītība ir vainagojusies panākumiem — RTU jauno doktoru skaits pēdējo piecu gadu laikā ir būtiski audzis un 2013. gadā savus promocijas darbus RTU ir aizstāvējuši 64 jaunie zinātnieki. Mēs lepojamies ar viņiem, un es ar patiesu prieku varu teikt, ka RTU ir izauguši perspektīvi pētnieki, kas ar savu darbu RTU vārdu spodrinās gan pašu mājās, gan tālu aiz Latvijas robežām, jo daudzi mūsu zinātnieki ir pieprasīti darba tirgū starptautiska mēroga uzņēmumos un akadēmiskajās institūcijās.

Tāpat ar pilnu atbildību varu teikt, ka ar savu lielo gribu mēs visi kopā RTU veidojam vidi, kurā pētniecība var attīstīties atbilstoši mūsdienu augstajiem tehnoloģiju standartiem. Ķīpsalā top Baltijas reģionā modernākais inženierzinātņu studiju centrs. 2013. gadā ir pabeigta divu fakultāšu ēku būvniecība un rekonstrukcijas un celtniecības darbi straujā tempā turpinās. Ir sākta jaunā laboratoriju korpusa izveide, kas būs nozīmīgs ieguldījums gan studiju procesā, gan pētniecībā, jo studentiem un jaunajiem zinātniekiem tiks piedāvātas pašas modernākās pētniecības iekārtas. Tas, savukārt, dos jaunu atspēriena punktu RTU zinātnisko sasniegumu attīstībā.

Mūsu griba ir liela, tāpēc es drošu skatu raugos nākotnē. RTU jaunie zinātnieki ir pierādījuši, ka pētniecības gars mūsu Alma Mater ir tikpat spēcīgs kā pirms vairāk nekā simts gadiem, kad mūsu universitāti par savu sauca tādi cilvēki kā Fridrihs Canders un Vilhelms Ostvalds, kuru zinātniskais darbs ir būtiski ietekmējis pasaules attīstību. Mūsdienās RTU aug jauno zinātnieku paaudze, kas, esmu pārliecināts, arī atstās spilgtus ierakstus inženierzinātņu vēsturē. Lai jaunajiem zinātniekiem ceļā uz mērķi nepietrūkst drosmes, neatlaidības, zinātkāres un lielās gribas! Tad mēs vēl ilgi varēsim ar lepnumu teikt, ka RTU ir izauguši lieli zinātnieki un lieli cilvēki.

RTU aug jauni zinātnieki ar lielu gribu RTU educates young scientists with strong willpower „You are as great as great is thy willpower”, - those words written by Rainis, the famous Latvian poet and thinker, seem to refer to the young RTU scientists whose everyday work demonstrates their determination to devote their lives to science. In spite of financial scarcity, our doctoral students are dedicated to their research and are spending long and tiring hours in laboratories doing experiments and aiming to discover ever new horizons in their chosen field of science.

The persistence and zeal has come to fruition – the number of young doctoral students during the last 5 years has substantially increased - 64 young scientists defended their doctoral thesis in 2013. We take great pride in them and it is my true delight to say that RTU can boast of promising scientists who will promote RTU in Latvia and far beyond its borders due to the fact that our researchers are on demand in the labour market of world scale enterprises and in academic institutions.

I am confident that it is with our strong willpower that we are creating RTU environment which enables the research development in accordance with high standards of modern technologies. The construction of the most advanced engineering study centre in the Baltic region is underway in Ķīpsala.

The reconstruction and construction of buildings of two faculties have been accomplished and further construction work is going on at a fast pace. The study centre will comprise a new science laboratory building which will provide students, researchers and industry representatives with up-to-date research equipment and will significantly contribute to the study process as well as to research. The centre will be an essential basis for further development of RTU scientific achievements.

We possess strong willpower and I am looking forward to our future with great confidence. The young RTU researchers have proven that the scientific spirit in our Alma Mater is as strong as it has been hundred years ago when its students were such outstanding personalities as Friedrich Cander and Vilhelm Ostwald whose scientific research significantly influenced the world development. I am confident that the new generation of RTU scientists will have their names mentioned in the history of engineering sciences. I wish young scientists to have courage, persistence, urge to explore and above all - strong willpower, so that we can take pride in great scientists and personalities being the graduates of RTU. Man ir patiess prieks sveikt RTU doktorantūras absolventu svinīgās sveikšanas ceremonijas dalībniekus. Šis pasākums iepazīstina ar mūsu universitātē veiktajiem pētījumiem, apliecina ilglaicīgu augsti kvalificētu cilvēkresursu attīstības procesu, kā arī to, cik nozīmīgs ir inženierzinātņu doktora grāds. Pasākumu atzinīgi novērtējuši gan akadēmisko aprindu pārstāvji, gan tie, kuri nav saistīti ar izglītības jomu.

Ceru, ka tas neskanēs kā klišeja, ja teikšu, ka Latvijai, kura industrializāciju noteikusi kā valsts ekonomikas virzošo spēku, vitāli nepieciešami motivēti un augsti izglītoti tehnoloģiju speciālisti. Es ticu, ka mūsu doktorantūras absolventi kļūs par uzņēmumu zinātnes un attīstības departamentu vadītājiem, vai dibinās savus augsto tehnoloģiju uzņēmumus, tādējādi sniedzot savu ieguldījumu Latvijas ekonomikas attīstībā. Mēs arī sagaidām, ka daži no viņiem atgriezīsies mūsu universitātē, lai veicinātu tās uz zinātni un inovācijām virzītu attīstību.

Man ir liels gandarījums par to, ka pagājušajā gadā pieaudzis doktorantūras absolventu skaits, kas ļauj cerēt, ka nākamajos gados doktorantūras studentu skaits turpinās palielināties un apmierinās nākotnes industrijas un izglītības prasības pēc kvalificētiem un augsti izglītotiem inženierzinātņu speciālistiem.

Mūsu doktorantūras absolventi – RTU ieguldījums Latvijas ekonomikas attīstībā Doctoral Graduates – RTU Contribution to Economic Development of Latvia I am delighted to congratulate and to celebrate the second Doctoral Conferment Ceremony at Riga Technical University. The ceremony introduces the research carried out at our university and demonstrates sustainability of highly skilled human resources as well as the importance of Doctors of Engineering. It has been highly acknowledged not only by academia but also by people who are not related to education.

I hope it is not cliché to say that Latvia is in desperate need of motivated and highly educated people in technologies and engineering since Latvia has set industrialization to be the driving force of its future economy. I am confident that our PhD awardees will contribute to Latvia’s economy by either becoming leaders in research and development departments of enterprises or by establishing their own high-tech companies. However we are also expecting some of them to return to our university and to participate in developing it into a university fostering science and innovation.

I am proud to note that in 2013 the number of graduate doctors at RTU has increased which gives the reason to believe that in years to come a growing number of students will pursue doctoral studies thus ensuring that the needs of future industry and education are met.

Gadagrāmata atspoguļo ne tikai katra jaunā doktora ieguldījumu zinātnes attīstībā, kas veikts vairāku gadu garumā, apkopots disertācijā un 2013. gadā aizstāvēts, bet arī viņu pētniecības intereses un moto, kas virza šos jaunos zinātniekus pētīt, atklāt un papildināt cilvēces zināšanu krājumu. Pārlapojot gadagrāmatu, varam atklāt jauno pētnieku plašo pētījumu un interešu loku, kā arī universitātes un tās sadarbības partneru tehniskās iespējas, kas ir materializējušās jaunās zināšanās. Doktorantūras absolventi – RTU attīstības spogulis Doctoral Graduates a mirror of RTU development The Yearbook is reflecting the input of each the young owners of doctor’s degree into the research development having been carried out during several years, summarized in a dissertation and defended in 2013, as well as the research interests and the motto, which drives these young scientists to research, to discover and to add to the wealth of human knowledge. The Yearbook presents the wide range of research topics and interests of the young scientists as well as the technical potential of our university and its collaborative partners, all of it materializing in ever new knowledge. I would say that the doctoral graduates are a mirror of the potential of our university and its development and is reflecting the research development and excellency of the academic environment.

I wish our doctoral graduates not to stop at the achieved and to continue at times the hard work of the researcher and of the mentor of young professionals thus promoting Latvia’s name in the World though the technologies created at Riga Technical University. In order to succeed it is essential to ensure not only the input of young scientists but also understanding of the scientific research and support of the society. I invite the reader of this Yearbook to learn about the achievements of the doctoral graduates and to share the information with others. Promocijas darbā pētītas bioklimatisko faktoru izmantošanas iespējas telpiskās vides projektēšanas procesā Latvijā. Darbā definētas galvenās ievirzes dažādu ekoloģiski projektētu ēku arhitektoniski estētiskajās izpausmēs. Analizētas galvenās tendences vides ilgtspējas aspektu integrēšanā datorizētajā projektēšanā. Veikti teorētiski aprēķini, lai konstatētu klimatisko faktoru ietekmes lomu telpiskās vides projektēšanas procesā.

Pamatojoties uz apkopoto teorētisko atziņu, praktisko piemēru un aptaujas datu analīzes rezultātiem, definēti potenciālie darbības virzieni bioklimatiskās stratēģijas izmantošanas veicināšanai telpiskās vides projektēšanā Latvijā.

ABSTRACT

The research focuses on the use of bioclimatic factors in designing of spatial environment in Latvia. The study defines the main trends in architectural expression of various ecologically designed buildings. The research provides the analysis of the main trends in integration of aspects of environmental sustainability into digital design. The research includes theoretical calculations to determine the influence of climate factors on designing of spatial environment. The potential areas for greater application of the bioclimatic strategy in designing of spatial environment in Latvia have been ascertained on the basis of theoretical conclusions, practical examples and the analysis of survey data.

PROMOCIJAS DARBS «Ēku norobežojošo konstrukciju materiālu īpašību ietekme uz mikroklimatu telpās» AIZSTĀVĒTS 2013.gada 13.decembrī VADĪTĀJS Profesors Dr.sc.ing. Anatolijs Borodiņecs APRAKSTS

Darbā tiek veikts plašs pētījums par siltumplūsmas un gaiscaurlaidības ēku norobežojošajām konstrukcijām ar mērķi nodrošināt optimālu mikroklimatu telpās. Darbs sastāv no literatūras izpētes un aprēķina modeļa ārsienu konstrukciju īpašību procesu ietekmi uz telpas mikroklimatu, eksperimentāla pētījuma un skaitliskā modeļa izstrādes. Papildus tam tika veikts normatīvās dokumentācijas kritisks pārskats un tika definēts optimāla mikroklimata jēdziens. Balstoties uz promocijas darbā veiktajiem pētījumu rezultātiem un ņemot vērā eksperimentāli iegūtos rezultātus un zināmās siltumtehnisko procesu aprēķinu metodes, tiek modelētas telpas ar galīgo elementu skaitliskās šķidrumu dinamikas datorprogrammas palīdzību, par galveno parametru izvēloties optimālu mikroklimatu telpās. Promocijas darba mērķis ir iegūt rezultātus, kuriem būtu zinātniska un praktiska pielietojamība, kā arī sniegt atbildes uz aktuāliem jautājumiem saistītiem ar optimāla mikroklimata nodrošināšanu, ņemot vērā norobežojošo konstrukciju īpašības. Pētījumu pamatā ir zinātniski tehniskā hipotēze par ēku celtniecības un ekspluatācijas kvalitātes paaugstināšanas iespējām izmantojot konstrukcijas masivitātes īpašības.

DOCTORAL THESIS «Influence of Materials’ Properties of Building Envelope on Indoor Climate» THESIS DEFENDED December 13, 2013 SUPERVISOR Professor Anatolijs Borodiņecs, Dr.sc.ing.

ABSTRACT

The thesis constitutes an extensive study of heat flow and air permeability of building enclosures with an aim of ensuring optimal indoor microclimate. The thesis consists of research of literature and a computational model regarding the effect of external wall structures on indoor microclimate, an experimental study, and the development of a computational model. In addition, a critical review of the regulatory documentation was conducted, and the concept of optimal microclimate was defined.

Based on the results of the research conducted during the work and taking into account the experimentally obtained results and the known calculation methods of thermal engineering processes, rooms were modelled with the help of finite element computational fluid dynamics software, selecting optimal indoor microclimate as the main parameter.

The objective of the thesis is to obtain the results with scientific and practical application, as well as to provide answers to current questions related to ensuring optimal microclimate by taking into consideration the characteristics of building enclosures. The basis of the research is the scientific and technical hypothesis regarding the possibilities of increasing building construction and usage quality by taking advantage of the solidity characteristics of the structures.

PROMOCIJAS DARBS «Racionāla liellaiduma iepriekš saspriegta trošu konstrukcija» AIZSTĀVĒTS 2013.gada 5.aprīlī VADĪTĀJI Profesors Dr.sc.ing. Dmitrijs Serdjuks Profesors Dr.habil.sc.ing. Kārlis Rocēns APRAKSTS

Izstrādāts jauns liellaiduma iepriekš saspriegtas trošu kopnes bez spiestiem stieņiem elementu izvietojums, kam, salīdzinājumā ar eksistējošiem risinājumiem, raksturīgi mazāki kinemātiskie pārvietojumi un samazināts materiālu patēriņš.

Izstrādāti iepriekš saspriegtas iekārtās konstrukcijas jaunās trošu kopnes aprēķina un optimizēšanas algoritmi ar GEM programmatūru ANSYS un programmēšanas vidi MatLAB, kas dod iespēju tos izmantot arī dažādu citu uzdevumu risināšanai.

Piedāvāta no materiālu patēriņa viedokļa racionāla hibrīdā kompozītā trose iepriekš saspriegtai iekārtajai konstrukcijai ar palielinātu drošumu salīdzinājumā ar kompozītām trosēm un palielinātu īpatnējo stiprību salīdzinājumā ar tērauda trosēm.

Izstrādāta pašsvārstību frekvenču noteikšanas vienkāršota metode iepriekš saspriegtai iekārtajai konstrukcijai ar precizitāti 20%, un tā pārbaudīta eksperimentāli.

ABSTRACT

The new placement of elements of large span prestressed cable truss without compressed elements was developed, which in comparison with existing solutions has smaller kinematic displacements and reduced material consumption.

The new design and optimization algorithms of prestressed suspension structure were developed by FEM software ANSYS in MatLAB programming environment, which can be applied in broad range of tasks. Rational from the point of view of material consumption structure of hybrid composite cable with increased safety in comparison with composite cables as well as with increased specific strength in comparison with steel cables.

The simplified method of determination of natural frequencies of prestressed suspension structure with a precision of 20% was developed and experimentally verified.

Promocijas darba mērķis bija izstrādāt absorbcijas aukstumapgādes sistēmu kondensatoru dzesēšanas ierīci, kas būtu alternatīva gradētavai.

Mērķa sasniegšanai tika izbūvēts pētniecisks stends, uz kura bāzes veikti siltumapmaiņas procesu pētījumi. Ierīce paredzēta zema potenciāla siltuma novadīšanai, kas no dzesējamās substances novadīto siltumenerģiju izdala apkārtējā vidē.

Darbā veikti konvektīvās, iztvaikošanas un kondensācijas siltumapmaiņas procesu pētījumi ar mērķi noteikt ierīces darbības efektivitātes saistību ar āra gaisa parametru izmaiņām.

Pētījumu veikšanai tika izmantota reģionāla katlumāja ar tai pievienoto infrastruktūras tīklu un teritoriju, iepriekš uzkrāti lokāli āra gaisa parametru izmaiņu mērījumi dati, kā arī autora izstrādātais iekārtas efektivitātes noteikšanas matemātiskais modelis. Promocijas darba zinātniskā novitāte ir absorbcijas aukstumapgādes sistēmu kondensatoru dzesēšanas ierīce, kas ir izmatojama lokālu ēku vai to kompleksu iekštelpu dzesēšanai absorbcijas cikla iekārtās.

«Condensers Cooling in Absorption Refrigeration Systems» December 20, 2013 Professor Pēteris Šipkovs, Dr.habil.sc.ing.

The goal of this doctoral thesis was to develop a condensation cooling device for absorption/cold supply systems as an alternative to a cooling tower.

A research stand was constructed which was used as a basis for studying heat exchange processes. The device is intended for low-potential heat removal, radiating the thermal energy extracted from the coolant into the environment. The paper studies convective, evaporative and condensation-based heat exchange processes in order to determine the link between the efficiency of the operation of the device and changes in ambient air parameters.

A regional boiler house and the connected infrastructural network and related territory were used, in order to collect local ambient air measurements and fluctuations, and to apply the mathematical model developed by the author for measuring the efficiency of the equipment . The scientific novelty of the doctoral thesis is the condensation cooling device for absorption cooling systems, to be used for cooling local buildings or complexes of buildings with absorption cycle facilities.

PROMOCIJAS DARBS «Gāzes sadales sistēmu parametru aprēķinu metodoloģija» AIZSTĀVĒTS 2013.gada 7.jūnijā VADĪTĀJS Dr.sc.ing. Ivars Platais APRAKSTS

Promocijas darbā izstrādāta metodoloģija pamatotu dabasgāzes patēriņu un optimālu sadales gāzapgādes sistēmu parametru (diametru, materiālu, spiediena zudumu) aprēķināšanai, kas nodrošina tehniski un ekonomiski pamatotu sistēmu būvniecību.

Darbā veikti dabasgāzes patēriņu un sadales gāzapgādes sistēmu aprēķināšanas metožu pētījumi Latvijas, Lietuvas, Vācijas un Krievijas gāzes saimniecībās, analizēti iemesli faktiskai gāzapgādes sistēmas noslodzei Latvijas Republikā, īpašu vērību pievēršot dabasgāzes patēriņu ietekmējošo faktoru analīzei.

ABSTRACT

The doctoral thesis includes methods developed for calculation of natural gas distribution system parameters (diameter, material, loss of pressure). The drafting of this paper included study of methods for calculation of natural gas consumption and distribution gas supply systems in gas management facilities in Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, and Russia, as well as analysis of actual load on gas supply systems in Latvia, focusing in particular on the analysis of the factors that influence the consumption of natural gas.

Proposals have been drafted for simplification of calculation model of gas supply systems, optimization of the loss of pressure, and the key principles applicable to hydraulic calculations of pipelines have been improved to enable reduction of estimated diameters of high-pressure gas-pipes from 7 to 10%, thus making it possible to cut construction costs of new distribution gas supply systems up to 15%.

Izstrādāti satiksmes slodzes modeļi tiltiem ar laidumu garumiem līdz 30 metriem, ņemot vērā Latvijai raksturīgās autoceļu satiksmes slodzes raksturojumus. Izstrādāta modelēšanas metode satiksmes slodžu datu apstrādei, kas izmanto statistisku un varbūtību teorijas pieeju datu analīzē, ļaujot noteikt faktisko slodžu veidu, slodžu sadalījumu pa transportlīdzekļu asīm, kumulatīvo transportlīdzekļu masas un ass slodzes sadalījumu.

Noteiktas Eirokodeksā LVS EN 1991-2 dotā slodzes modeļa LM1 regulējošā koeficienta α rekomendējamās vērtības tiltiem ar laidumu garumiem līdz 30 metriem, ņemot vērā Latvijai raksturīgās autoceļu satiksmes slodzes raksturojumus.

ABSTRACT

Typical Latvian road traffic load characteristics were obtained using WIM data. Specific Latvian road traffic load models for bridges with span lengths up to 30 meters have been developed taking into account the characteristic traffic loads.

A method of processing traffic data loads based on statistical analysis and probability theory has been developed to determine the actual traffic load, load distribution between vehicle axles, cumulative gross weight and axle load distribution of the vehicle.

Recommended value of the regulatory factor α of Load model LM1 (Eurocode LVS EN 1991-2) has been determined taking into account the characteristics of traffic loads in Latvia.

Promocijas darba gaitā tika izpētīti un reālos apstākļos novērtēti zemas temperatūras apkures sistēmas ar sienās iebūvētiem sildķermeņiem. Ekonomiski pamatota iebūvētas apkures sistēmas rentabilitāte, sistēma salīdzināta ar tradicionālām apkures sistēmām pie dažādiem siltuma avotiem. Promocijas darba zinātniskā novitāte ir vertikālās virsmās iebūvēto sildķermeņu parametru matemātiskā modelēšana, izmantojot eksperimentāli iegūtos datus, aprēķinu metodiku padarot precīzu un reāliem apstākļiem atbilstošu.

ABSTRACT

The goal of this Thesis is to develop a method of calculation of constructive solutions for heating systems with in-built heaters using low-temperature sources of heat.

The doctoral thesis studies low temperature heating systems with heaters built into walls were examined and evaluated under real-world conditions. The suggested calculation method has been economically justified; the system was compared with the traditional heating systems with several heat sources. The scientific novelty of the research is in the mathematical modelling of the parameters of heaters built into vertical surfaces, using experimentally acquired data, thus producing a calculation method that is precise and based on actual conditions.

ABSTRACT

In the Doctoral Thesis the load-bearing elements of cable-stayed bridges are described by analytical continuous and differentiable functions, obtained by precise structural methods by analysing the deformed shape of the system, enabling to find the significance of interaction between the elements of the system, as well as to determine potential extreme points.

Based on the analytical approach, a number of recommendations have been made for rational improvemnets of system geometry, as well as a method has been developed for an easy and reasonable assumption of cable bridge elements mechanical parameters for their further verification with the finite element method.

Izstrādāti pamatprincipi nesimetriskas struktūras saplākšņa lokšņu projektēšanai, nosakot racionālus lobksaidas orientācijas leņķus, kondicionēšanas režīmu, nesimetriskās struktūras lokšņu termiskās apstrādes temperatūru un laiku. Veikta eksperimentāla svarīgāko iegūto rezultātu validācija. Pirmo reizi izstrādāta aprēķina metodika, kas rada iespēju projektēt ribotus saplākšņa plātņveida konstrukcijas elementus ar palielinātu īpatnējo nestspēju, samazinātām mitruma izraisītām rukuma/uzbriešanas deformācijām un siltumvadītspēju, un atsevišķos gadījumos diskrēti mainīgu iekšējo struktūru vai ārējo lobskaidu orientācijas leņķi, tā nodrošinot paaugstinātu īpatnējo nestspēju.

Veikta koksnes kompozīta konstrukcijas elementa modeļa eksperimentāla pārbaude liecē un parādītas pielietošanas iespējas izstrādātajai aprēķina metodikai, nosakot racionālu ribojumu trīslaidumu plātnei ar divām kustīgām slodzēm un ēkas jumta kompozītās konstrukcijas elementam.

ABSTRACT

The new design method for analysis of rational lay-up, moisture conditioning regime, thermal treatment time and temperature of nonsymmetrical plywood sheets is created.

Experimental validations of the proposed method are done.

The design methods for ribbed plywood plate structural elements with increased specific strength, decreased moisture caused deformations, decreased heat conduction are proposed for the first time. A variable stiffness, increased specific strength plywood plate with variable angle of outer layers orientation and its optimization method are proposed.

Experimental model testing of the wood composite element in bending is done and possibilities to use the created method of analysis by obtaining rational ribbed structure of three span plates with two moving loads and building roof’s composite structural element are shown.

Promocijas darbā ir izstrādāts interaktīvas uz induktīvo apmācību balstītas klasifikācijas sistēmas (InClaS) modelis, kas apvieno algoritmus, arhitektūras un vadlīnijas, kuras ļauj izveidot interaktīvu klasifikācijas sistēmu. Šādas sistēmas izstrādes mērķis ir samazināt nepareizi klasificēto objektu skaitu, salīdzinot ar automātisku klasifikācijas sistēmu. Modelis ir pielāgots lietošanai jomās, kur objekts var piederēt vienlaicīgi vairākām klasēm.

Galvenā sfēra, kurā aprobēts InClaS modelis, ir augstākā izglītība.

The thesis is devoted to the development of automated or semiautomatic classification solution which incorporates both machine learning facilities and interactive involvement of a domain expert in the applying stage of the classifier for improving its results if the classifier makes uncertain classification.The doctoral thesis provides interactive inductive learning based classification system (InClaS) model which gathers algorithms, architectures and guidelines for developing an interactive classification system. The aim of developing this system is to decrease the number of misclassified instances as compared to the automatic classification system. This model adapted for application in the domains with a multi-label class membership. The InClaS model has been approbated mainly in education area.

Darbā ir izanalizēta piemērotības ainavas analīzes metožu pielietošana imitācijas modelēšanā sakņotas optimizācijas uzdevumos un ir izstrādāta ar piemērotības ainavas analīzi uzlabotas imitācijas modelēšanā sakņotas optimizācijas formalizēta shēma. Balstoties uz etalonuzdevumu piemērotības ainavu analīzi ir izanalizētas sakarības starp optimizācijas algoritmu efektivitāti un ainavas struktūras īpašībām. Darbā ir izstrādātas metodes un algoritmi imitācijas modelēšanā sakņotas piemērotības ainavas analīzei, kā arī ir izstrādāts programmlīdzekļa prototips imitācijas modelēšanā sakņotu optimizācijas problēmu piemērotības ainavas analīzei.

Pētījumā izstrādāto metožu aprobācija ir veikta, optimizējot transportlīdzekļu kustības grafiku un maršrutus preču piegādes plānošanas uzdevumā, un ir piedāvāti vairāki šīs optimizācijas problēmas risināšanas scenāriji.

ABSTRACT The doctoral thesis is dedicated to the development of methods and algorithms for a simulation-based fitness landscape analysis and optimisation of complex systems, which will ensure a selection and configuration of the metaheuristic algorithm for parametric simulation-based optimisation of complex systems.

Application of the fitness landscape analysis methods in tasks of simulation-based optimisation is analysed, and a formalised scheme of simulation-based optimisation enhanced by fitness landscape analysis is developed. Relations between the efficiency of an optimisation algorithm and structural features of the corresponding fitness landscapes are investigated for the benchmark landscapes. Methods and algorithms for the simulation-based fitness landscape analysis, and the prototype of a software tool for the fitness landscape analysis of simulation optimisation problems are developed.

Approbation of the developed methods is performed in optimisation of vehicle schedule and routes in the delivery planning task. Several optimisation scenarios with application of the fitness landscape analysis are proposed and investigated.

Promocijas darba galvenais mērķis ir izstrādāt robustas laikrindu prognozēšanas metodes, kas ir piemērotas darbam ar trokšņainiem un liela apjoma datiem ar pielietojumu makroekonomikā.

Galvenie darba jaunieguvumi ir šādi. Pirmkārt, izstrādāts joslas filtrs viendimensionālu datu gala punkta novērtēšanas problēmām, kas atšķiras no alternatīvas ar citu ideālā filtra koeficientu korekciju. Otrkārt, izstrādāta metode signāla vienlaicīgai novērtēšanai un prognozēšanai daudzdimensionāliem un trokšņainiem datiem, kas ir pirmā šāda veida metode.

Treškārt, identificētas Beijesa un faktoru metožu robustuma problēmas, kad atkarīgā rādītāja dinamika strauji mainās.

The main objective of the thesis is to develop robust forecasting methods that are able to work with noisy and highdimensional data, with application to macroeconomics.

The key novelties of the thesis are the following. First, an asymmetric filter has been developed for frequency band extraction at the end-points of univariate series. Second, a method has been developed for signal extraction and forecasting using high-dimensional and noisy data sets. Thirdly, robustness issues of Bayesian and factor forecasting models have been investigated when the dynamics of the target change rapidly.

Biznesa procesu vadība (BPV) pēdējos gados piedzīvo strauju attīstību. Organizācijas arvien biežāk izrāda interesi izmantot specializētas datorizētas sistēmas, kas atbalsta BPV ieviešanu. Šādas sistēmas sauc par biznesa procesu vadības sistēmām (BPVS). Nesenajos pētījumos tiek atzīmēts arī mākoņskaitļošanas tehnoloģiju popularitātes pieaugums. Mākoņskaitļošanas tehnoloģijas ļauj organizācijām izmantot BPVS kā pakalpojumus (Software as a Service – SaaS), samazinot sistēmas ieviešanai un uzturēšanai nepieciešamās investīcijas un laiku. Ieviešot organizācijā BPVS, ir svarīgi nodrošināt tās integrāciju ar esošām korporatīvām informācijas sistēmām. Mākoņa BPVS gadījumā ir jānodrošina SaaS sistēmas integrācija ar uzņēmuma infrastruktūrā esošām informācijas sistēmām (lokālām sistēmām) un datu avotiem. Ir zināmi vairāki tehniskie risinājumi SaaS un lokālo sistēmu integrācijai. Tomēr neviens no tiem nevar pilnībā nodrošināt visas mākoņa BPVS specifiskas integrācijas prasības, tāpēc ir nepieciešams piedāvāt jaunu integrācijas mehānismu.

ABSTRACT

Business Process Management (BPM) is becoming more popular in recent years. As a result companies start using specialized information systems that support BPM. Such systems are called Business Process Management Systems (BPMS). Analyzing future of BPM researchers agree that cloud computing environments will be used to adopt BPM applications. Cloud environments allow organizations to reduce initial implementation costs and use BPMS as a service (Software as a Service – SaaS). As any successful BPMS implementation requires establishing a solid integration of business processes with existing line of business applications (LOB) and organizational data sources, moving BPMS to the cloud puts the focus on «cloud to on-premises» integration questions. Similar questions are addressed in many studies around integrating SaaS applications with on-premises systems and data sources. Nevertheless, integrating cloud BPMS with on-premises LOB applications has some specific scenarios and requirements that cannot be effectively addressed by using existing technologies and patterns. The thesis describes how cloud BPMS integration challenges are solved using mobile agents technology.

Promocijas darbs veltīts lielu energosistēmu stabilitātes izpētes jautājumam. Darbā analizēta un pielietota klasiskā elektroenerģētiskās sistēmas shēmas vienkāršošanas metode ar slodzes mezglu izslēgšanu, kas balstās uz lineārām pārveidošanām, izmantojot Žordāna izslēgšanas metodi. Ņemot vērā klasiskās metodes varianta nepiemērotību reālās slodzes ievērošanai, tiek piedāvāta jauna metodika, kas papildina minēto metodi un ļauj izslēgt mezglus ar nelineārām slodzēm, kas ir atkarīgas no sprieguma un frekvences un attēlotas ar to statiskām un dinamiskām raksturlīknēm.

Jaunās metodikas aprobācija tika veikta uz Baltijas valstu energosistēmas «elektroenerģētiskā gredzena «БРЭЛЛ»» modeļa piemēra, kas ietilpst IPS/UPS sinhronās zonas sastāvā.

Uz sākotnējā un iegūtā vienkāršotā energosistēmas modeļa piemēra tika modelēti un apskatīti pārejas procesi ar dažādu smaguma pakāpi, kā arī veikta iegūto rezultātu salīdzinoša analīze.

ABSTRACT

The doctoral thesis is devoted to the question of research of transient stability of large power systems. A classical method of interconnected power system reduction by means of load nodes elimination, based on the linear transformation using the Jordan elimination method was analyzed and applied.

Taking into account the inapplicability of the version of the classical method for considering real loads, a new method which complements the above mentioned method and allows to eliminate nodes with nonlinear loads, dependent from voltage and frequency and represented by its static and dynamic characteristics is proposed.

Approbation of the new method was performed following the example of power system model of Baltic’s country “electrical power grid “БРЭЛЛ”” that is contained within power system IPS/UPS. On bases of the examle of the initial and obtained model of the reduced power system transient processes of different rate of difficulty were modelled and examined as well as comparative analyses of obtained results was completed.

Leonīds Ribickis Promocijas darbā ir izklāstīta galveno pētījumu būtība APRAKSTS attālinātās vadības, parametru un datu iegūšanas metodēs un paņēmienos vairākas spēka elektronikas un elektroiekārtu sistēmās.

Darbā ir veikta bezvadu monitoringa un vadības sistēmu (EIBMVS) klasifikācija, izstrādātas EIBMVS moduļu komunikācijas metodes un ir izpētīta EIBMVS praktiskā realizācija: а) elektropiedziņas un robotu sistēmās, b) LED gaismekļu vadībā, c) attālinātas vadības eLaboratorijas iekārtās un d) elektroenerģijas patērētāju monitoringa sistēmā.

Energoelektronikas elektriskās shēmas ir izstrādātas no EIBMVS potenciālā pielietojuma viedokļa objektos, kuros ir nepieciešama energoelektronikas lietošana.

Izstrādāta datorprogrammas FileMaker datubāzes izmantošanas metode EIBMVS vadībā.

Promocijas darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 153 lappusēm, satur 90 attēlus un ilustrācijas, 8 tabulas, 10 pielikumus un tajā ir izmantoti 134 informācijas avoti.

ABSTRACT

The Doctoral thesis reflects the content of the research in the field of wireless remote control and measurement data acquisition techniques and methods in several systems of power electronics and electrotechnology.

The thesis deals with a classification of determining wireless parameters and control systems, communication methods and technique and practical evaluation for: a) electrical drive and robotics, b) LED lighting management, c) remote management of eLaboratory equipment, d) electricity consumption monitoring systems.

Wireless data exchange methods and power electronics circuitry is developed and discussed in terms of the potential application at sites which require the use of power electronics.

The thesis describes development of the use of a FileMaker database software for management of the systems.

The thesis is written in Latvian, contains 153 pages, 90 images, 8 tables, 10 annexes and is based on 134 bibliographical (information) sources.

Darbā izstrādāts inovatīvs sistēmdinamikas modelis, ar kura palīdzību iespējams analizēt primārā iepakojuma atkritumu apsaimniekošanas sistēmas struktūru un tās dalībnieku uzvedību.

Izstrādātais modelis sniedz skaidrojumu par novērotajām parādībām sistēmā un ļauj aprakstīt tai piemītošās atgriezeniskās saites. Modelī integrēti socio-ekonomiskie un vides faktori, kuru savstarpējās saites aprakstītas ar vairāk nekā 500 matemātisko sakarību palīdzību. Modelis ļauj pārbaudīt alternatīvus politikas instrumentus, ar kuru palīdzību sistēmu padarīt efektīvāku no mājsaimniecībām savākto un pārstrādāto iepakojuma atkritumu īpatsvara palielināšanā, iepakojuma atkritumu novēršanā un apglabātā apjoma samazināšanā. Darbā izstrādāto modeli var izmantot lēmumu pieņēmēji, ražošanas un atkritumu apsaimniekošanas uzņēmumi, zinātnieki un pētnieki un citas ieinteresētās puses.

ABSTRACT

In the thesis a system dynamics model is developed for the analysis of structure of the waste management system of primary packaging and behavior of its actors. The developed model allows to understand the system and to obtain the feedback. Socioeconomic and environmental factors are integrated in the model. Their interaction is characterized by more than 500 mathematical equations. The model allows testing of alternative policy instruments aimed to increase the recycling and reuse rates of primary packaging waste. The model developed in the thesis can be used by decision makers, waste management companies, academics and researchers and other interested parties.

Darbā piedāvāta un ananlizēta jauna diagnostikas metode neapkalpojamajai akumulatora baterijai, kā arī slodzes ģeneratora izmantošana akumulatora diagnostikā. Izanalizēta elektromehānisko releju monitoringa un diagnostikas metode.

Rezultātā izstrādāta jauna reālā laika elektromehāniskās sistēmas stāvokļa diagnosticēšanas metode un izstrādāts algoritms papildus aprīkojuma uzbūvei.

Promocijas darba mērķis ir energosistēmu risku, kas rodas to dinamiskās stabilitātes traucējumu dēļ, samazināšana. Lai sasniegtu definēto mērķi, darbā tiek analizētas energosistēmu risku novērtēšanas metodes un algoritmi. Izvēlēts risku novērtēšanas kritērijs, kas apvieno un atspoguļo stabilitātes zaudējumus izsaukušo notikumu varbūtības un to sekas. Uz automātikas un aizsardzību vienkāršoto varbūtisko modeļu pamata izstrādāts un simulēts dinamiskās stabilitātes traucējumu process lielās energosistēmās. Izstrādāta modeļu validācijas metodika. Sintezēta uz globālās pozicionēšanas sistēmas izmantošanu pamatota asinhrona režīma novēršanas un likvidācijas automātikas jauna struktūra.

Process of dynamic stability disturbances in large power systems is elaborated and simulated on the base of automatics and use of simplified models of protection. Methodology of validation of models is developed A new structure based on application of global positioning for preventing asynchronous operation and automatics of liquidation has been synthesized.

Ietekmes uz vidi novērtējuma rezultāti un saskaņā ar tiem radītā ceļu infrastruktūra ietekmē sabiedrības labklājību un Latvijas sociālekonomisko attīstību ilgtermiņā. Promocijas darba rezultātā radītās vides indikatoru pieejas un līmeņatzīmes metodes pielietošana ietekmes uz vidi novērtējumā var būtiski veicināt ceļu būves nozares finanšu ieguldījumu efektivitāti nākamo 20 gadu laikā, kā arī uzlabot vides un sabiedrības dzīves kvalitāti.

Līmeņatzīmes metodes ieviešana IVN ir ekonomiski izdevīga, neprasa lielus finanšu līdzekļu ieguldījumus, kā arī tās rezultātu ticamība ir augsta. Metode balstās uz faktisku vides parametru mērījumu rezultātiem.

Implementation of benchmarking method in EIA is economically profitable, it does not need significant financial investments and the credibility of results is high. The method is based on actual measurement results of environmental parameters.

Promocijas darbā novērtēts elektroapgādes drošuma stāvoklis, kā arī elektroapgādes drošuma regulēšanas ieviešanas nepieciešamība Latvijā. Analizētas elektroapgādes drošuma tehniski ekonomiskās regulēšanas metodoloģijas, kas tiek izmantotas Eiropas valstīs, kā arī minēti to galvenie trūkumi. Pētīti un analizēti elektroapgādes drošuma rādītāji, ka arī to klasificēšanas metodes, norādot uz papildu rādītājiem, ko būtu jāizmanto regulēšanā. Izstrādāta elektroenerģijas lietotāju zaudējumu novērtēšanas anketa. Promocijas darba gaitā, izmantojot izstrādāto anketu, veikts Latvijas elektroenerģijas lietotāju zaudējumu novērtēšanas pētījums, kura rezultātā iegūtas lietotāju zaudējumu līknes (no angļu – customer damage functions). Darbā ir izpētītas elektroapgādes drošuma līmeņa novērtēšanas metodikas, kā arī dotas rekomendācijas vienas metodikas izmantošanai praksē.

Piedāvāti jauni algoritmi lietotāju zaudējumu novērtēšanai no elektroapgādes pārtraukumiem, kas ņem vērā laikā mainīgas slodzes un attiecināto zaudējumu vērtības, ka arī sistēmas operatoru izmaksu novērtēšanai. Piedāvātie algoritmi tika izmantoti praktiskajos aprēķinos izvērtējot elektroapgādes drošuma uzlabošanas tehniskā risinājuma efektivitāti. Uz veikto pētījumu un analīžu bāzes izstrādāta elektroapgādes drošuma līmeņa tehniski ekonomiskās regulēšanas metodoloģija.

ABSTRACT

Power supply reliability level of Latvian distribution network, as well as necessity of introduction of reliability level regulation is evaluated in the thesis. Existing European performance-based regulation of DSOs regarding reliability of power supply is analyzed. Main drawbacks of existing regulations are identified.

Power supply reliability indices and their classification methods are investigated and analyzed, pointing to additional indicators that should be used in regulations. A Questionnaire for evaluation of customer costs of reliability has been developed. In the frame of doctoral thesis the developed questionnaire was used to carry out researchand as a result customer damage functions for Latvian electricity consumers have been created. Methods of power supply reliability evaluation have been studied, as well as recomendations are given for practical application of one of the methods. New algorithms for calculating customer costs of reliability, which take into account time-variable loads and normalized outage costs, as well as cost estimation for system operator have been developed and proposed in the thesis.

Proposed algorithms have been used for practical calculations when evaluating effectiveness of one of the technical reliability improvement activity. On the basis of the performed research and analysis, methodology for performance-based regulation was developed.

Bez robotikas autoindustrija šodien nav iedomājama – industriālie roboti ļauj sasniegt vēlamos ražošanas apjomus, kvalitāti un ātrumu. Šajā darbā izpētītas dažādas metodes industriālo robotu energoefektivitātes palielināšanai. Darbā izstrādāts robota sistēmas modelis, kas izmantots robotizētu ražošanas uzdevumu energopatēriņa analīzei un pielietojams dažādiem sešu asu manipulatoriem. Piedāvātas vairākas metodes un shēmas plaša mēroga robotizētas ražošanas energoefektivitātes celšanai.

Analizēta programmu loģika un robotu kustību vadības algoritmi robotizētā ražošanas šūnā. Izpētīti pasīvie enerģijas uzkrājēji, kā arī izstrādāta jauna tipa jaudas pārveidotāja shēma robotu rekuperatīvās enerģijas savstarpējai apmaiņai.

Vairums minēto metožu ir eksperimentāli pārbaudītas, bet atsevišķi darba rezultāti tiek ieviesti autoražotāja Daimler AG rūpnīcās un realizēti robotu ražotāja KUKA AG produktos.

Balstoties uz robotu faktisko izmantošanu autoindustrijā, kopējo robotu energopatēriņu iespējams samazināt par 30%.

DOCTORAL THESIS «Increasing Energy Efficiency of Robotized Production Systems in Automobile Manufacturing» THESIS DEFENDED December 18, 2013 SUPERVISOR Professor Leonīds Ribickis, Dr.habil.sc.ing.

ABSTRACT

Energy efficiency is one of the fundamental properties of sustainable manufacturing. Industrial robots are deployed in many manufacturing industries and are a key technology in implementing production on the desired scale, speed, quality and costs. This work proposes various methods for the energy efficient use of medium and high payload industrial robots and robotized production systems. This is multidisciplinary research and refers to topics of high-level production control architecture, motion planning of manipulators and electrical engineering.

A new, complete robot system model is developed and methods are proposed for the planning of energy-efficient large-scale robotized production. The effective use of regenerative energy is evaluated and a novel power converter system for multi-robot cells is proposed to enable energy sharing between several robot actuator drive systems. Viability proof of the proposed optimization approaches is provided with respect to a detailed analysis of actual robot usage in the automotive industry. PROMOCIJAS DARBS «Intelektuālā elektrotransporta vadības sistēmu modelēšana ar imūnajiem algoritmiem» AIZSTĀVĒTS 2013.gada 18.decembrī VADĪTĀJS Profesors Dr.sc.ing. Anatolijs Ļevčenkovs APRAKSTS

Promocijas darba mērķis ir izstrādāt vadības metodes uz mākslīgo imūno algoritmu pamata intelektuālajai ritošā sastāva drošības vadības sistēmai ar iebūvētajām iekārtām, kas ļautu novērst dzelzceļa transporta sadursmes ar citiem objektiem.

Darbā analizēts dzelzceļa transports, izveidots sistēmas matemātiskais modelis, definēti iespējamie traucējumi tā kustībā, apskatīti evolucionārie algoritmi, tai skaitā – imūnie algoritmi, aprakstītas pozicionēšanas iekārtas un iebūvētās iekārtas.

Tālāk ir aprakstīti izstrādātie algoritmi dzelzceļa transporta un autotransporta sadursmju novēršanai, definēta daudzkritēriju optimizācijas mērķa funkcija, kā arī imūno algoritmu realizācijas iespējas iebūvētajās iekārtās.

Autora veiktie datoreksperimenti ar evolucionārajiem algoritmiem un to statistiskā hipotēžu pārbaude, kas salīdzināja trīs mākslīgā intelekta metodes sadursmes novēršanas uzdevuma risināšanai, pierādīja imūno algoritmu efektivitāti. Tika veikti arī eksperimenti ar izstrādātajiem iekārtu prototipiem, analizēti un novērtēti eksperimentu rezultāti.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the Ph. D. thesis is to develop control methods based on artificial immune algorithms for the intelligent transport safety control system with embedded electronic devices, which will help to prevent collisions of railway vehicles with other objects. In the thesis, an existing railway is analyzed, a mathematical model of the existing and proposed systems is created which defines possible disturbances in the movement, known evolutionary algorithms, including immune algorithms, are analyzed, and some positioning equipment and embedded devices are described. The author presents the developed algorithms for avoiding rail and road transport collisions, defines the multiple criteria optimization objective function and possibilities of implementing an immune algorithm for the embedded devices.

The experiments with evolutionary algorithms carried out by the author and testing of their statistical hypothesis which compares the three artificial intelligence techniques for collision avoidance problem, prove effectiveness of the immune algorithm. The thesis also presents experiments with the developed embedded device prototypes as well as the results analysis and evaluation.

Šis darbs ir veltīts viedo tīklu vadības elementu izstrādei, kas ir domātas, piemēram, modernām mājsaimniecībām, kurās izmanto atjaunojamus enerģijas resursus (AER). Enerģijas vadības sistēma ļauj sasniegt labāku funkcionalitāti, augstāku enerģijas izmantošanas efektivitāti, elektroenerģijas padeves stabilitāti galalietotājam, kā arī nodrošinās patēriņa pārvaldi tīkla operatoram. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīts piedāvātais daudzfunkcionālais ivadkomutators ar integrēto netiešo slodzes monitoringa funkciju. Otrajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīti jaudas balansēšanas algoritmi. Trešajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīts vidējās strāvas bezsensoru vadības algoritms, kurš tika definēts dažādiem pārveidotāja darbības režīmiem: taisngrieža, tīklam piesaistītā un autonomā invertora režīms. Ceturtajā nodaļā ir aprakstīti eksperimenti un modelēšanas rezultāti piedāvāto vadības elementu pārbaudei.

ABSTRACT

This doctoral thesis is dedicated to the development of control means for intelligent distribution grids, such as contemporary households with installed renewable energy sources. Integration of energy management system allows to implement better functionality, higher efficiency of energy utilization and stability for the end-user. The first chapter discusses a proposed multifunctional interconnection switch with integrated non-intrusive load monitoring algorithm. The second chapter describes energy balancing algorithms. The third chapter is devoted to the development of average current sensorless control algorithm for different converter operating modes: rectifier, grid-tied and stand-alone inverter. The fourth chapter contains experiments and some simulations for justification of results.

Promocijas darba mērķis ir izpētīt koksnes granulu un gāzveida fosilā kurināmā līdzdedzināšanas ietekmi uz emisiju veidošanos, efektivitāti un saražoto siltumenerģijas daudzumu.

Papildus tika veikti eksperimentālie pētījumi par pastāvīgā magnēta ietekmi uz virpuļplūsmas veidošanos. Magnētiskā lauka un liesmas mijiedarbības procesus var izmantot, lai ietekmētu plūsmas dinamiku, liesmas temperatūru un degšanas produktu sastāvu. Eksperimenti tika veikt speciāli izveidotajā eksperimentālā iekārtā, kas paredzēta koksnes biomasas un propāna-butāna līdzdedzināšanai. Promocijas darbam ir liela praktiskā nozīme, kuras mērķis ir palielināt koksnes biomasas izmantošanu enerģijas ražošanā, nodrošinot efektīvāko tās izmantošanu. Šim pētījumam ir vairākas mērķa grupas – siltumenerģijas ražotāji, biomasas sadedzināšanas iekārtu ražotāji, pašvaldības un iedzīvotāji.

The goal of the research described in the dissertation is to make a research on co-firing of wood pellets and gaseous fossil fuel by evaluating influence of co-firing on emission production, efficiency, and produced energy volumes. In addition an experimental research was held on the influence on permanent magnet on formation of swirling flow. Interaction processes of magnetic field and the flame can be used to impact flow dynamics, flame temperature, and composition of combustion products. A special pilot device for wood biomass and propanebutane co-firing was constructed. The thesis is of high practical significance and aims to increase the level of wood biomass use for energy production, as well as to assure its effective application. The research has multiple target groups, including heat energy producers, biomass combustion equipment manufacturers, governmental bodies and citizens.

Promocijas darbs ir veltīts dzelzceļa transporta trokšņa spektru modelēšanai un eksperimentāliem pētījumiem.

Darbā tiek izpētīti dzelzceļa transporta trokšņa spektrālās īpašības Latvijas dzelzceļā, ka arī noteikts spektru izmaiņu raksturs atkarībā no satiksmes ātruma, ritoša sastāva tipa un sliežu ceļa stāvokļa.

Veikta determinēto, statistisko, pusempīrisko un empīrisko modeļu analīze un pilnveidots ES standartizēts RMR (Reken - en Meetvoorschrift Railverkeerslawaai) modelis pielietošanai Latvijas dzelzceļa apstākļos.

Pilnveidotā modelēšanas metode uz eksperimentālo pētījumu rezultātu bāzes ir svarīgs ieguldījums dzelzceļa transporta tehnoloģiju attīstībā Latvijas dzelzceļā.

Darba rezultāti ir ievesti Rīgas Tehniskās universitātes (Dzelzceļa transporta institūts), Latvijas dzelzceļa un Latvijas Republikas Izglītības un zinātnes ministrijas kopīgo projektu īstenošanas ietvaros.

ABSTRACT

This thesis is devoted to modeling and experimental investigations of noise spectra of rail transport.

The spectral features of noise of rail transport in Latvia are investigated and the changes of spectra depending on traffic speed, on the type of rolling stock and on track conditions are evaluated.

The analysis of deterministic, statistical, semi-empirical and empirical models is performed and the EU standardized RMR (Reken - en Meetvoorschrift Railverkeerslawaai) model is improved for application in Latvian railway conditions.

The improved modeling method based on experimental investigation results is an important contribution to the development of railway transport technologies in Latvia. The results of the research have been implemented within the framework of joint projects of Riga Technical University (Institute of railway transport), SJSC Latvian Railway and Ministry of Education and Science of Republic of Latvia.

Lai globāli un vietējā mērogā risinātu autotransporta plūsmas pieauguma radītās sekas, autotransporta nozarē nepieciešams ieviest augstās tehnoloģijas. Tāpēc autotransporta tīklošanas priekšizpēte ir aktuāla un to uzskata par jaunu izaicinājumu gan zinātnei, gan auto industrijai. Moderno šūnu sakaru sistēmas teorētiskā lejupielāde ir augsta, bet praksē datu apmaiņa ir ievērojami zemāka. Jaunāki bezvadu lokālā tīkla risinājumi var nodrošina augstu caurlaidspēju stacionāriem un lēni kustīgajiem lietotājiem, bet, neskatoties uz šo faktu, nav nekādu ierobežojumu šos risinājumus izpētīt autotransporta vidē.

Promocijas darba mērķis ir izpētīt pasažieru datu piekļuves kvalitātes paaugstināšanas iespējas un to tīkla infrastruktūru, kā arī maksimālas caurlaidspējas esamības autotransporta bezvadu lokālā tīklā.

To address globally and locally road traffic growth and its effects, it is necessary to involve high technology in auto industry. Therefore vehicles networking feasibility studies are considered to be a new challenges for science as well as for the auto industry. Modern cellular system theoretical download speed is high, but in practice the data exchange is noticeably lower. The latest wireless local area network solutions support high throughput for both stationary and slow-moving users, but despite this fact, there are no limitations to study these solutions in a vehicular environment.

The aim of the thesis is to research opportunities of improving passenger data access quality and their network infrastructure, as well as the existence of maximum throughput of the road transport wireless local area network.

Promocijas darba ietvaros tika izstrādātā automātiska sejas atpazīšanas sistēma, kas balstās uz transformācijas «Lokālie Binārie Tēli» (LBT) paplašinājumiem. Sistēma sastāv no trim posmiem: sejas detektēšanā, sejas centrēšana un sejas atpazīšana. Sejas detektēšana ļauj noteikt sejas esamību ieejas attēlā un atgriež sejas reģiona pozīciju un izmēru. Sejas detektors ļauj noteikt aptuvenu informāciju par objektu, tāpēc tika ieviests otrais posms– sejas centrēšana. Šīs modulis precizē sejas parametrus, balstoties uz atskaites punktiem, par kuriem šajā gadījumā tika izvēlētas acu zīlītes. Pēdējais posms ir sejas atpazīšana, kas darbojas identifikācijas režīmā un ļauj noteikt personas identitāti, salīdzinot seju ar datubāzē esošiem paraugiem, vai noraidīt identifikācijas mēģinājumu.

ABSTRACT

This thesis proposes an automatic face recognition system which is based on the extensions of Local Binary Patterns transformation. The system is composed of three stages: face detection, eye localization - based face alignment, face identification. Face detection module determines the presence of the face in the input image and returns an approximate position and dimension of the subject. Detection of the face provides rough information about the parameters of the object of interest, thus the second step namely face alignment is incorporated. At this stage dimensions of the facial region are determined more accurately and are based on the location of facial features, which in our case are eye pupils. The final module is face recognition which operates in the identification mode and determines the identity of an individual out of a pool of people or rejects an identification attempt.

Sakarā ar straujo optisko sakaru sistēmu attīstību nepieciešams noskaidrot ekspluatācijā lietoto viļņa garuma filtru pielietojumu ierobežojumus, kā arī meklēt efektīvākus risinājumus, lai viļņgarumdales blīvēšanas sistēmas padarītu elastīgākas. Promocijas darbs veltīts esošo viļņa garuma filtru izpētei un parametru analīzei viļņgarumdales blīvēšanas sistēmās, kā arī jauna veida viļņa garuma filtru iespēju un ierobežojumu novērtējumam pilnīgi optiskās sakaru sistēmās. Rezultātā promocijas darbā ir apkopots pabeigts pētījumu posms, kurā viļņa garuma filtru lietošanas iespējas novērtētas gan pašreizējās, gan nākotnes optisko šķiedru sakaru sistēmās.

Due to the rapid development of optical transmission systems, wavelength filter parameter limitations must be investigated and also new solutions must be found for more flexible and scalable wavelength division multiplexing systems. The Doctoral thesis is devoted to the study of wavelength filters and the parameters in wavelength division multiplexing systems, as well as to the development and estimation of novel filter applications in all-optical communication systems. As a result, the thesis summarizes the completed research in which the wavelength filters applications are evaluated in both current and future optical fiber communication systems.

Darbā ir pētīti dažādi signālu diskretizācijas un atjaunošanas paņēmieni ar mērķi izstrādāt teorētisku pamatojumu pieņēmumam, ka signālus ar laikā mainīgu spektrālo sastāvu precīzi var reprezentēt ar nolasēm, kuru izvietojumu laikā nosaka signāla aktivitāte – jo straujāk mainās signāls (jo lielāka lokālā frekvence), jo biežāk tiek ņemtas nolases, un otrādi – jo lēnāk mainās signāls (jo mazāka lokālā frekvence), jo lielāki ir laika intervāli starp secīgām nolasēm.

ABSTRACT

In the thesis land use problems are described, the significance of the efficiency in land management has been demonstrated, as well as the directions for the solving of problems identified in land-use have been indicated. In the thesis the theoretical aspects of the efficiency evaluation of land use within sustainable land management framework have been analysed, different land use efficiency evaluating methods have been summarised and researched and indicators have been established, as well as the framework model for evaluation of land use efficiency has been created and a system of indicators has been proposed. In the thesis the methodological approaches for the evaluation of land use efficiency have been included and the results of the research carried out have been summarized. The main conclusion of the study | developed and scientifically justified methodology for efficiency evaluation of land use is required for continuous monitoring of the use of land resources and decision-making in order to promote efficient and sustainable use of resources in the public interest.

Promocijas darbā ir veikts kvantitatīvais pētījums, kurā aptaujāti lielo un vidējo akciju sabiedrību darbinieki un noskaidrots viņu viedoklis par akciju īpašumtiesībām un ar tām saistītajiem faktoriem. Pētījuma galvenie rezultāti parāda pozitīvu sakarību starp darbinieku akciju īpašumtiesībām un motivāciju. Tāpat darbiniekiem ir interese par akciju iegādi uzņēmumā, kurā viņi strādā. Šis ir pirmais šāda veida un apjoma pētījums Latvijā.

ABSTRACT

My dissertation is devoted to the advancement of employee share ownership (ESO), development of conditions for it and its use in Latvia. Various types of ESO are recognized and used in many countries around the world. Within the framework of this dissertation I have developed an economic model of ESO which is applicable to circumstances in Latvia for the development of entrepreneurship and useful for motivating employees.

The developed ESO model has been approved by experts – executives of large and medium-sized joint-stock companies of Latvia. The ESO model is the first complex model of its kind in Latvia as well as and in the European Union. It can be adapted for use in other EU countries.

My dissertation contains results of research, in which I have questioned employees from large and medium-sized jointstock companies and found out their opinion regarding share ownership and its associated factors. The main results of the study show positive relationship between the employee share ownership and the improvement of employee motivation.

Employees of Latvian companies are interested in acquisition of shares of the company in which they work. This is the first study of such kind and scale in Latvia.

ABSTRACT

The doctoral thesis studies the aspects affecting conformity assessment in the European Union (EU) with the aim to raise awareness of conformity assessment, to make conformity assessment processes clearer for entrepreneurs and to ensure placement of safe products in the market.

The totality of aspects characterizing product quality is evaluated and information is gathered on interrelationships of quality management and product conformity assessment processes. Technical harmonization approaches are compared and the conformity assessment system is evaluated in Latvia and the EU. Conformity assessment of measuring instruments is evaluated from the theoretical and practical point of view, the main problems of conformity assessment system management and problems directly related to product conformity assessment are identified.

Solutions for elimination of the identified problems and for the improvement of conformity assessment system management are elaborated. The necessity to make use of uniform methodology is substantiated, and the new Technical Harmonization Approach is developed. Conformity assessment system scheme is improved and a method has been developed to be used by manufacturers when selecting the most suitable of conformity assessment modules. Also, the terminology used in the conformity assessment field is improved.

The scientific novelties of the doctoral theses are: firstly, lexicographical analysis of the electronic environment concept in Latvian was performed for a more accurate explanation of the concept, which serves as the grounds for further studies about the electronic environment. Secondly, factors related to the use of e-environment affecting entrepreneurship competitiveness are determined and categorized. The author of the Dissertation carried out the research of the following statement: in a process of spatial economic allocation in compliance with considerations of the climate change, a permanent development of the entrepreneurial activities of commercial real estate market in the Baltic Sea Region is facilitated thus preventing the short-term current imbalance in the local commercial real estate market. The author has determined a content of the spatial economics, the Latvian territory cooperation and impact radiuses. Among the main scientific solutions and formal proposals worked out in the Dissertation to facilitate the balanced long-term development of the entrepreneurial activity system in Latvia are: the algorithm model of forecasting the supply of the spatial economic objects, regional specialization and concentration rate of the main entrepreneurial activities measured and assessed by applying Gini coefficient method, informative logical model of spatial economic allocation of entrepreneurial activities for foreign investors, and assessment results on the industrial location for the multinational enterprises with assets from the Baltic Sea Region in Latvia.

Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka Eiropas Savienība izvirza prasības stingri kontrolēt notekūdeņu kvalitātes rādītājus, izlaižot tos pilsētas kanalizācijas tīklā. Vairumā gadījumu mežsaimniecības kompleksa ražotnēs nav centralizētu notekūdeņu attīrīšanas iekārtu. Līdz ar to rodas problēma, kas saistīta ar notekūdeņu attīrīšanas tehnoloģijas ieviešanu uzņēmumos, nolūkā pilnīgāk izdalīt koksnes izcelsmes piesārņotājus no tehnoloģiskās plūsmas un attīrīto ūdeni atkārtoti izmantot ražošanas vajadzībām. Darba gaitā atrasti optimālie tehnoloģiskie parametri koksnes izcelsmes piesārņojuma izdalīšanai no modeļšķīduma koagulācijas un ozonēšanas ceļā. Koagulācijas procesā izmantots jauns kompozītkoagulantus uz polialumīnija hlorīda bāzes. Parādītas izstrādātā kompozītkoagulanta priekšrocības, salīdzinot ar tradicionāliem alumīnija sāļiem un zināmo kompozītkoagulantu.

Izstrādātais kompleksais paņēmiens var būt ieviests finiera ražošanas tehnoloģiskajā ciklā ar mērķi atkārtotai ūdens izmantošanai ražošanas vajadzībām. Blakusproduktiem – koagulātiem, kas rodas koagulācijas ceļā, piedāvāts pārstrādes veids, kopā ar māliem izgatavojot sorbentus.

ABSTRACT

The topicality of the theme is determined by the fact that the European Union has significantly changed requirements of water quality for its discharge in the drainage networks. The integrated forestry enterprises, especially plywood industry, do not have a centralized wastewater treatment plant. Consequently, there is a problem associated with the replacement of wastewater treatment technology or improvement with a view of perfecting hemicellulose and lignin containing substances removal from a technological flow and re-use of purified water for manufacturing needs. The scientific novelty of the Doctoral thesis is associated with the research of removing specific pollutants during the process of coagulation using principally new composition coagulants on the base of polyaluminium chloride. The advantages of the developed composition coagulants compared to the traditional aluminum salts were presented. The proposed wastewater treatment technology, that combines coagulation and ozonation processes, provides high efficiency of wood origin pollutants removal. The developed combined method might be implemented in a plywood production cycle in order to re-use water for technological needs. It is proposed that the obtained by-products – coagulates, arising in the process of coagulation can be used for the production of clay-based sorbents.

Promocijas pētījuma rezultātā izstrādāta jauna metode nepiesātinātu aminospirtu un aminoskābju, kā arī C-kvaternāro vinilglicinolu iegūšanai. Demonstrēta jauna pieeja 2-trihlormetil4-viniloksazolīna iegūšanai, kā arī parādītas viniloksazolīna cikla uzšķelšanas iespējas ar dažādiem nukleofīliem.

Izstrādāta metode N-toziliminokarbonātu iegūšanai un demonstrēts to sintētiskais pielietojums. Promocijas darbs sagatavots kā tematiski vienotu zinātnisko publikāciju kopa par C-heteroatoms saites veidošanu Luisa skābes katalizētā trihloracetimidāta funkcijas nukleofīlā aizvietošanas reakcijā.

ABSTRACT A novel method for the synthesis of unsaturated amino alcohols and amino acids, as well as C-quaternary vinylglycinols has been developed. A convenient approach to 2-trichloromethyl4-vinyloxazoline and its ring cleavage reactions with various nucleophiles has been demonstrated. Novel approach for the synthesis of N-tosyliminocarbonates has been established and the synthetic application was demonstrated. The thesis is presented as a set of thematically unified scientific publications on C-heteroatom bond formation in Lewis acid catalysed nucleophilic allylic substitution of trichloroacetimidate group.

It comprises one manuscript and four publications in peerreviewed journals which have been indexed in international scientific databases.

Pateicoties pētnieku un ražotāju interesei par kaņepju pārstrādi, promocijas darbā veikti pētījumi plātņu materiālu izveidei no kaņepju šķiedru-spaļu maisījuma, kas iegūts, konservējot uz lauka sasmalcinātus kaņepju stiebrus. Darbā analizēti tādi mainīgie kā šķiedru-spaļu komponentes konservācijas laiks, plātnes biezums, blīvums un saistvielas tipa ietekme uz plātņu materiālu fizikālajām un mehāniskajām īpašībām. Plātņu paraugi izgatavoti pēc Leibnica Lauksaimniecības tehnikas pētniecības institūtā (ATB) izstrādātās netradicionālas tehnoloģijas uz eksperimentālas tehnoloģiskās līnijas. Kompozītu paraugos paralēli novietotas kaņepju garās tehniskās šķiedras, kas iegūtas, piemērojot tradicionālo kaņepju stiebru pirmreizējās apstrādes tehnoloģiju, integrētas kā armējošā komponente polipropilēna matricā, veidojot bioloģiski sairstošu kombināciju. Novērtēta šķiedru un presēšanas temperatūras ietekme uz tādām kompozīta īpašībām kā absorbcija, stiprība stiepē un Junga modulis. Iegūtie materiāli izmantojami gan mēbeļu rūpniecībā, gan kā siltumizolācijas un telpu iekšējās apdares materiāli būvniecībā.

ABSTRACT

Due to the scientists’and producers’ interest in hemp processing, the doctoral thesis made researche to create board material from hemp fiber shive mixture which has been acquired from the preserved hemp stalk chopped on the filed.

The thesis analyses the effect of such variables as preservation time, board thickness, density and binder on physical and mechanical properties of fiber shive components . The board samples are produced according to non-traditional technology on the experimenatal technological line in Leibnniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering Potsdam-Bornim.

The composite samples have paralelly placed hemp long technical fibres which are obtained according to traditional hemp stalk first processing technology and which are integrated into polypropylen matrix as filling component making a biodegradable combination. The thesis evaluates the temperature effect on such composite properties as absorbtion, tensile strength and Jung module.The produced material can be used in furniture production as well as for heat insulation and interior material.

Promocijas darbā izpētītas O-alkilhidroksamātu iekšmolekulārās un starpmolekulārās N-arilēšanas iespējas vara katalīzes apstākļos. Literatūras apskatā apkopoti un analizēti jaunākie dati par hidroksilamīnu un hidrazīnu atvasinājumu, ka arī sēra-slāpekļa saiti saturošo savienojumu N-arilēšanu pārejas metālu katalizētās sametināšanas reakcijās un informācija par ciklisko N-alkoksi-N-arilamīdu sintēzi.

Pētījuma rezultātā pirmo reizi iegūti N-arilhidroksāmskābes atvasinājumi vara katalīzes apstākļos. Izstrādātas jaunas metodes N-alkoksiindol-2-onu iegūšanai un O-alkil-N-arilhidroksamātu sintēzei. Parādīts, ka izstrādātās metodes piemērotas plašam substrātu klāstam un savietojamas ar dažādām funkcionālajām grupām.

ABSTRACT

This doctoral thesis describes the research results of coppercatalyzed intramolecular and intermolecular N-arylation of O-alkyl hydroxamates. Recent data about transition metalcatalyzed N-arylation of the hydroxylamine and hydrazine derivatives, sulfur-nitrogen bond containing compounds as well as the methods for synthesis of cyclic N-alkoxy-N-arylamides are summarized and analyzed in the literature review.

For the first time the synthesis of N-aryl-O-alkylhydroxamates under copper-catalysis were achieved and new methods for the synthesis of N-alkoxyindol-2-ones and N-aryl-O-alkylhydroxamic acid derivatives have been developed. It was shown, that the developedmethods are applicable to a broad range of substrates and tolerate various functional groups.

Promocijas darbs veltīts enantiomēri tīru 1,3-diamīnu sintēzei un pielietojumam litija enolātu enantioselektīvās protonēšanas reakcijā. Hirālo 1,3-diamīnu iegūšanai izstrādāta stereoselektīva sintēzes metode, kura balstās uz terc-butānsulfinilimīnu diastereoselektīvu reducēšanu. Noskaidrotas likumsakarības starp terc-butānsulfinilimīnu uzbūvi (E/Z un M/P ģeometriju) un reducēšanas reakcijā jaunradītā asimetriskā centra konfigurāciju. terc-butānsulfinilimīnu E/Z un M/P konfigurācijas pētītas gan kristāliskajā formā (izmantojot rentgenstruktūras analīzes metodi), gan arī THF–d8 šķīdumā (lietojot KMR metodes).

Noteiktas imīnu E/Z izomerizācijas un M/P atropizomeri-zācijas ātruma konstantes un aprēķinātas izomerizācijas Gibsa brīvās aktivācijas enerģijas. Pētītas likumsakarības starp 1,3-diamīnu telpiskām prasībām un protona pārneses enantioselektivitāti.

Noskaidrots hirālā protonu avota pamata struktūrelements, kurš nodrošina protona donora spēju atšķirt planārā enolāta enantiotopās puses.

ABSTRACT

The dissertation is focused on synthesis of enantiomerically pure 1,3–diamines and their application in enantioselective protonation of lithium enolates. A methodology for stereoselective synthesis of chiral non-racemic 1,3-diamines has been developed based on a highly diastereoselective reduction of N-tert-butanesulfinylimines. Correlation between structure of N-tert-butanesulfinylimines (E/Z and M/P geometries) and sense of asymmetric induction in their reduction has been established. E/Z And M/P geometries of N-tert-butanesulfinylimines were determined both in crystalline form (by X-ray crystallographic analysis) and in THF–d8 solution (by NMR methods). Rate constants for E/Z isomerization and M/P atropisomerization as well as the corresponding Gibbs free energies of activation for isomerization were determined.

Relationship between steric hinderance of 1,3-diamines and enantioselectivity of proton transfer was studied. Principal chiral subunit in 1,3-diamine, which ensures discrimination of enolate enantiotopic faces, has been established.

Promocijas darbs veltīts elektrovadošas TiO2-x keramikas iegūšanai un tās īpašību pētīšanai atkarībā no tehnoloģiskajiem procesiem. Eksperimentālā darba pirmajā daļā aprakstīta optimāla ekstrūzijas masu sastāvu izveide, izmantojot TiO2 anatāza pulveri, piedevas (saistvielu, eļļu) un ūdeni. Kā arī veikta nekvalitatīvu produktu reciklēšana – tādā veidā izstrādājot bezatlikumu tehnoloģiju TiO2 keramikas izgatavošanā. Otrajā daļā izstrādāti termiskās apstrādes režīmi, ņemot vērā piedevu sadalīšanās temperatūras diapazonu, kristālisko struktūru maiņu no anatāza uz rutilu, kā arī keramikas saķepināšanas intervālu. Mainot termiskās apstrādes režīmus, iespējams iegūt mikrostruktūru ar dažādu graudu izmēriem un relatīvo blīvumu.

Trešajā daļā pētītas elektriskās un termoelektriskās īpašības pēc TiO2 keramikas papildus apstrādes vakuuma apstākļos.

Eksperimentālie rezultāti pierāda, ka mainot termiskās apstrādes parametrus, iespējams prognozēt potenciālo materiāla pielietojumu – kā elektrodu vai termoelektrisku materiālu.

ABSTRACT

In this work the obtaining of electroconductive TiO2-x ceramics and the dependence of properties of these ceramics on technological processes is researched. In the first section of experimental part the development of optimal extrusion mass compositions is described. The extrusion mass contains TiO2 (anatase) powder, additives (binder, oil) and water. Lowquality products are recycled – waste-free manufacture of TiO2 ceramics has been developed. In the second section of experimental part thermal treatment conditions are researched, taking into account the temperatures at which additives are degraded, the temperature at which anatase phase converts to rutile phase and the sintering temperature interval. The third section of experimental part researches the electric and thermoelectric properties of TiO2 ceramics after additional thermal treatment in vacuum conditions. In this work the obtaining of electroconductive TiO2-x ceramics and the dependence of properties of these ceramics on technological processes is researched.

The experiments show that By changing thermal treatment parameters it is possible to predict the application of obtained materials as materials for electrodes or thermoelectric materials.

Darba zinātniskā un praktiskā nozīme: 1) konstatēts, ka, izmantojot TiO2-x elektrodus, jau nelielas hlorīda jonu koncentrācijas (7–9 mg/L) ūdenī elektrolīzes procesā var nodrošināt pietiekami augstu ūdens dezinfekcijas efektivitāti ar paliekošu iedarbību; 2) pētīta dažādu tehnoloģisko faktoru ietekme uz elektrolīzes procesu un paliekošo dezinficējošo efektu, izmantojot TiO2-x keramikas elektrodus. Pamatojoties uz eksperimentu rezultātiem, izstrādāts matemātiskais modelis, kas ļauj prognozēt dezinfekcijas efektivitāti; 3) pamatojoties uz eksperimentālajiem datiem, izstrādāta nepārtrauktas darbības ūdens dezinfekcijas iekārtas principiālā shēma; 4) darba rezultāti ir izmantojami par pamatu komerciālu ūdens dezinfekcijas iekārtu projektēšanā un izgatavošanā.

INTERESES Promocijas darba mērķis: izmantojot titāna oksīda (TiO2-x) keramikas elektrodus, izstrādāt efektīvu bezreaģentu ūdens elektroķīmiskās dezinfekcijas metodi, kas ir lietojama lokālās ūdens ņemšanas vietās, ārkārtas situācijās, un ūdens sagatavošanai speciālām vajadzībām.

DOCTORAL THESIS «Electrochemical Disinfection of Water Using Titanium Oxide Ceramic Electrodes» THESIS DEFENDED April 30, 2013 SUPERVISOR Professor Jurijs Ozoliņš, Dr.sc.ing.

ABSTRACT

Scientific and practical importance of the thesis: 1) It was found that while using the TiO2-x electrodes, even minor chlorine ions concentration (7 – 9 mg/L) in the water during electrolysis can ensure a sufficiently high water disinfection efficiency with a lasting exposure.

2) Impact of various technological factors on electrolysis process and lasting disinfection exposure using TiO2-x ceramic electrodes were studied. Based on the experiment results, a mathematical model, allowing disinfection efficiency prediction, was developed.

3) Based on the experiment data, a principle scheme of a continuously operating water disinfection device was developed.

4) The results of the research can be used as a basis for design and manufacturing of a commercial water disinfection device.

Promocijas darbā ir aprakstītas jaunas uz ogļhidrātiem bāzētas molekulāras platformas sintēze un pielietojums karbopeptoīdu un to triazolu analogu sintēzē. Sintezētie karbopeptoīdi izpētīti ar kodolu magnētiskās rezonanses spektroskopijas un cirkulārā dihroisma spektroskopijas metodēm. No KMR spektriem ir aprēķināti attālumi starp protoniem molekulās, kuri ir izmantoti kā ierobežojošie faktori molekulāras dinamikas datorsimulācijās.

Promocijas darba gaitā izstrādātās monosaharīdu pamatbloku sintēzes metodes ir ērti pielietojamas plaša klāsta ogļhidrātu atvasinājumu sintēzei, tai skaitā ogļhidrātu-heterociklu konjugātu sintēzē.

ABSTRACT

The doctoral thesis discusses the synthesis and the use of novel carbohydrate-based molecular scaffolds for the syntheses of carbopeptoids and their triazole mimetics. The synthesized oligosaccharides were studied by NMR and CD methods.

The distance between the protons in the target molecules were calculated from their NMR spectra and were used as the restraints in the molecular dynamics simulations. The developed synthetic routes towards the sugar amino acid precursors after minor last step modifications provided entries into a broad range of carbohydrate-azole conjugates. The latter group of products can be interesting in terms of medicinal chemistry.

Promocijas darbs veltīts bezsvina segnetoelektriskās keramikas uz kālija nātrija niobāta bāzes iegūšanai un īpašību izpētei. Darbā novērtētas dažādas keramikas modificēšanas iespējas un to ietekme uz keramikas blīvumu, dielektriskajiem, segnetoelektriskajiem un pjezoelektriskajiem parametriem. Ir izstrādāts jauns keramikas masas sastāvs, par kuru ir saņemts Latvijas Republikas patents.

PROMOCIJAS DARBS «Polivinilspirta krio-hidrogēlu sistēmas biomateriālu izstrādei» AIZSTĀVĒTS 2013.gada 13.martā VADĪTĀJS Profesors Dr.habil.sc.ing. Mārtiņš Kalniņš

Promocijas darbā pētīts polivinilspirta (PVS) gēlu kriogēnās APRAKSTS sintēzes process, kā arī iegūto gēlu struktūras raksturlielumu un atsevišķu īpašību rādītāju kopsakars nelielu gēlu šķērssaistīšanās blīvuma vērtību apgabalā. Pētījumā iegūti polimērmateriāli ar lielu ūdens sorbcijas spēju un stiprības-deformācijas īpašību kompleksu, kas izmantojami medikamentozu pārsēju izstrādei.

Darbā aprakstīta izstrādātā PVS hidrogēlu kriogēnās sintēzes tehnoloģija. Pamatots krioprocesa temperatūras-laika režīms, izmantojamā polimēra molekulmasas un šķīduma koncentrācijas diapazons, kas nodrošina gēlu veidošanos ar salīdzinoši nelielu šķērssaistīšanās pakāpi. Novērtēti stiprībasdeformācijas raksturlielumi un PVS hidrogēlu morfoloģija.

Noskaidrota PVS kriogēlu termiskā izturība un ilgizturība ūdens vidē, kā arī stabilitāte secīgos sorbcijas-desorbcijas ciklos.

Izvērtēta gēlu citotoksicitāte un proliferācija in vitro, kā arī mikroorganismu kolonizācija un adhēzijas spēja uz gēlu virsmas.

Aprakstīta krio-hidrogēlu pārsēja izgatavošanas tehnoloģija.

Izgatavoti un testēti pārsēju prototipi ar porainu un blīvu nesējslāni. Izstrādāts pārsēja rūpnieciska mēroga izgatavošanas tehnoloģiskās shēmas variants.

DOCTORAL THESIS «Poly(Vinyl Alcohol) Cryo-Hydrogel Systems for Development of Biomaterials» THESIS DEFENDED March 13, 2013 SUPERVISOR Professor Mārtiņš Kalniņš, Dr.habil.sc.ing.

The thesis studies cryogenic synthesis process of polyvinyl ABSTRACT alcohol (PVA) gel, as well as the relationship between structure parameters and characteristics of certain individual properties of obtained gels in the region of small crosslinking density values. The Polymer material with great water sorption ability and complex of strength-deformation characteristics, which can be used for the development of effective medical dressing has been created.

The developed technology of cryogenic synthesis of PVA hydrogels is described. Temperature-time regime of cryoprocess, the range of polymer molecular mass and solution concentration, that provides formation of gel with a small degree of crosslinking, is substantiated. Morphology and strength-deformation characteristics of gels are determined.

Thermal resistance and durability of gels in water environment as well as the stability in successive sorption-desorption cycles is evaluated. Cytotoxicity and cell proliferation in vitro as well as microbial colonization level and adhesion activity of gels is established. Manufacturing technology of gel dressing prototypes with a porous and dense support layer is developed.

The version of technological scheme for industrial production of dressings has been worked out.

Promocijas darba pētījuma objekts ir Latvijā izplatītāko koku sugu – priedes, egles, apses, melnalkšņa un baltalksņa mizas, kuru augstais lignīna saturs ar aktīvajām OHfen grupām, kā arī citu fenolu tipa savienojumu klātbūtne tajās, modifikācijas reakcijās ar amīniem uzrāda paaugstinātu spēju ķīmiski saistīt slāpekli. Modificēšana in situ veikta ar diviem atšķirīgiem modificēšanas paņēmieniem: dezoksiaminēšana ar dietilepoksipropilamīnu (DEEPA) un oksiamonolīze, kā oksidētāju izmantojot amonija persulfātu. Reakcijās iegūtie slāpekli saturošie mizu materiāli ir ar jaunām, praktiski izmantojamām īpašībām: videi draudzīgu sorbentu izgatavošanai smago metālu saistīšanai no tos saturošām sistēmām un kompozītmateriālu izstrādāšanai, tos izmantojot kā pildvielu otrreizējās polimērās sistēmās.

ABSTRACT

The goal of the doctoral thesis is the study of bark of tree species that are most widespread in Latvia (pine, spruce, aspen, black alder and grey alder), which in modification reactions demonstrates an enhanced ability to bind nitrogen that is determined mainly by the high content of lignin in bark with active OH groups, as well as the presence of other phenol type compounds. Modification in situ by two different modification methods – desoxyamination reaction with diethylepoxypropylamine (DEEPA) and oxyammonolysis reactions, using ammonium persulphate as an oxidiser, makes it possible to obtain nitrogen-containing bark derivatives with new, practically applicable properties: for the development of environmentally friendly composite materials and for uptake of heavy metals from heavy metal – containing systems.

Promocijas darba mērķis ir izveidot cikliski noslogojamu cisternvagonu ar izbeigušos kalpošanas termiņu atlikušā resursa analītiskās noteikšanas metodikas, lai paaugstinātu cisternvagonu ekspluatācijas drošību garantijas starpremontu periodā.

Promocijas darba zinātniskā novitāte: 1. Ir noteiktas cisternvagonu ar pagājušu kalpošanas termiņu noguruma bojājumu sadalījuma likumsakarības VAS „Latvijas Dzelzceļš” apstākļos.

2. Pamatota cisternvagona palikušā resursa noteikšanas metode katrai noguruma bojājumu zonai atkarībā no noslogojuma, kas izraisa bojājumus, un tās atkārtošanās: no atsevišķiem trieciena noslogojumiem līdz mazciklisku un daudzciklisku noslogojuma režīmiem.

3. Papildināta cisternvagonu diagnosticēšanas metodika.

Ieviestie papildinājumi ļauj ātrāk un precīzāk novērtēt nesošo elementu palikušo stiprību ar mērķi pagarināt noteikto kalpošanas termiņu.

4. Izstrādātā cikliski noslogojamu cisternvagonu palikušā resursa noteikšanas metodika, ņemot vērā atklātos papildus noslogojuma režīmus (sānu šūpošanās, ārpusštata balstīšanās uz gulšņu balstiem), kas ļauj noteikt cisternvagona palikušo resursu jebkurā ekspluatācijas posmā.

ABSTRACT

The aim of the doctoral thesis is to create methodologies for analytic determination of remaining resource for cyclical loading of tank wagons with expired term in order to increase operating safety of tank wagons in warranty intermediate repairs period.

The scientific novelty of the doctoral thesis is as follows: 1. It determines distribution regularities of fatigue damages for tank wagons with expired life time in conditions of SJSC Latvian Railway.

2. It develops the determination method for remaining resource of tank wagons for each zone of fatigue damages depending on load, which causes damages, and their reoccurrence is justified: from single impact loads to low-cycle and high-cycle load regimes.

3. Diagnostic methodology for tank wagons has been supplemented. The Implemented supplements allow toassess the remaining strength for load-bearing elements in faster and more accurate manner with the aim to extend the determined life time.

4. It has elaborated the methodology for remaining resource determination for cyclic loadable tank wagons, taking into account the discovered additional load regimes (lateral swinging, relaying on non-active sleeper supports), which allows the determination of remaining resource of tank wagon in any operational stage.

Promocijas darbā izstrādāts īpašs absorbcijas dzesētāju pielietojums kombinētā cikla gāzes triģenerācijas (KCGT) zema potenciāla siltuma nodošanai siltuma tīklā. Pētījuma rezultātā rasts risinājums absorbcijas dzesētāja ražības paaugstināšanai augstas atgaitas temperatūras apstākļos. Kā KCGTefektivitātes paaugstināšanas pasākums tiek piedāvāts Centralizētās aukstumapgādes (CA) ieviešana Latvijas apstākļos, kurai izstrādāts datormodelis ražošanas un aukstuma izmaksu noteikšanai. ABSTRACT In the doctoral thesis the author has developed a special application of the absorption coolers for the transmission of the low potential heat of gas combine cycle cogeneration (GCCC) to the heat network. As a result of the study a solution has been found for improving the productivity of the absorption cooler under the conditions of high return temperature. It has been proposed to introduce a district cooling as a measure for improving the efficiency of GCCC in Latvian circumstances and a computer simulation has been developed for determining the costs of cold supplying. The thesis proposes solutions for increasing the total efficiency of GCCC in the countries with temperate climate conditions by utilising the low potential heat of the technological process, which was not utilised before and, which has been discharged into the environment without any utilisation until now.

Latvijas ģeogrāfiskās atrašanās vietas dēļ transporta nozarei ir viena no galvenajām lomām valsts ekonomikā, kā arī tai ir svarīga nozīme visas Eiropas Savienības ekonomiskajā attīstībā. Pētījums ir paredzēts jaunu optimizācijas modeļu un metožu izveidošanai loģistikas uzņēmumu darba tirgū pasaules ekonomikas lejupslīdes apstākļos. Jaunu loģistikas modeļu izveidošana ļauj plānot jebkādu uzņēmējdarbības resursu (transportlīdzekļu, finanšu un citu resursu) optimālu izmantošanu, kā arī ļauj samazināt uzņēmējdarbības izmaksas un palielināt saņemto peļņu. Tas palīdz modelēt pilnīgu loģistikas sistēmu (ķēdi) no izejmateriālu ražotāja līdz gala produkta saņēmējam. Šie modeļi var tikt izmantoti gan kopējās transporta sistēmas attīstības stratēģijas izveidei, gan noteiktu saistīto uzdevumu risināšanai.

ABSTRACT

Due to specific geographic location of Latvia transport plays one of the main roles in the national economy and is of key importance to the economic development of the whole European Union.The goal of the research is to develop new optimization models for solving the tasks of logistics companies in the market conditions of World recession. Development of the new logistics models enables planning of the optimal use of any business resources (vehicles, finance and others), also minimization of the business costs and maximization of the received profit. It helps modeling of a complete logistics system (chain) from the raw materials producer to the recipient of the end product. The models can be used both within creation of the overall transport system development strategy and within solutions of specific related tasks.

RESEARCH INTERESTS The theme of of my research is the lack of practical methods for optimization of the costs and activities for the logistics centre in the market conditions of World recession.

Promocijas darbā «Jauna metode ekstrūdēto šuvju kvalitātes pārbaudei» izstrādāta jauna alumīnija profilu kvalitātes pārbaudes metode ekstrūdēto šūvju pārbaudei un defektu identificēšanai. Jaunā metode ļauj paaugstināt pārbaudes produktivitāti, un no 2012. gada tā ir ieviesta ražošanā. Stiepes un spiedes metodes vietā tiek piedāvāta jauna alumīnija profilu kvalitātes pārbaudes metode. Ar eksperimentiem un FEM, un FEA ir analizēts metāla bīdes process. Eksperimentāli izstrādāta praktiski pielietojama diagramma «Ekstrūzijas formas ģeometrijas robežu diagramma (ESWLD)», pēc kuras ir iespējams prognozēt pie kādām ekstrūzijas formas ģeometrijām ekstrūzijas procesā metināšanas kamerā ir iespējams izvairīties no gāzes kameras klātbūtnes.

DOCTORAL THESIS «New method for quality inspection of extrusion welding» THESIS DEFENDED January 29, 2013 SUPERVISOR Docent Natālija Mozga, Dr.sc.ing.

ABSTRACT

The author of the Thesis «New method for quality inspection of extrusion welding» has developed a new aluminum profile extrusion quality inspection method for extrusion weld testing and for the defect identification. The new method allows to increase productivity and it has been used in production since 2012. Instead of tensile and compressive methods a new aluminum profile quality inspection method is offered.

Metal shearing process was analysed during experiments and

by FEA and FEM. Applicable diagramm «Extrusion seam weld limit diagram (ESWLD)» was experimentally developed, which allowed to predict at what kind of extrusion form dimension during the extrusion process in extrusion welding chamber it is possible to avoid the presence of gas chambers.

Promocijas darbs atspoguļo globālas bifurkācijas analīzes rezultātus, jaunas bifurkācijas grupas, retos atraktorus un haotisko uzvedību svārstu tipa uzspiestās sistēmās, un pētījumus, kas veikti ar «jaunas bifurkācijas teorijas» palīdzību. Šī teorija ir izstrādāta Rīgas Tehniskās universitātes (RTU) Mehānikas institūtā. Pilno bifurkācijas grupu metode ir izstrādāta (1993–2013) profesora M. Zakrževska zinātniskajā grupā RTU, Mehānikas institūtā. Šī grupa strādā tādā zinātnes virzienā kā nelineārā dinamika, haoss, katastrofas un kontrole.

Izmantojot pilno bifurkācijas grupu metodi, algoritmu kompleksu un skaitļošanas programmatūru, ir iespējams atrast kvalitatīvi jaunus, iepriekš nezināmus retos regulāros un haotiskos atraktorus, jaunas bifurkācijas grupas un izpētīt dažādu bifurkācijas grupu mijiedarbību tipiskos un plaši izmantotos klasiskajos nelineārajos dinamiskajos modeļos.

ABSTRACT

The doctoral thesis present the results of the global bifurcation analysis, new bifurcation groups, rare attractors and chaos for pendulum driven systems and research conducted on “novelty bifurcation theory” at the Institute of Mechanics of Riga Technical University (RTU). The method of complete bifurcation groups was developed (1993–2013) at Institute of Mechanics of Riga Technical University by the research group of Prof. M. Zakrzhevsky. This group is working on such scientific topic as «Nonlinear dynamics, chaos, catastrophes and control».

The method of complete bifurcation groups and complex of algorithms and software proposed on its basis allows finding of the archetypical and widely used classical nonlinear dynamic models qualitatively new previously unknown rare regular and chaotic attractors, new bifurcation groups and studying the interaction of different bifurcation groups.

Promocijas darbs «Sūkņa ar rotējošiem pastāvīgajiem magnētiem izpēte šķidru metālu transportēšanai» tika izstrādāts, lai uzlabotu šādu sūkņu aprēķinu metodiku un empīriski pārbaudītu elektromagnētiska indukcijas sūkņa ar rotējošiem pastāvīgajiem magnētiem raksturlielumus un to atbilstību teorētiskajam novērtējumam.

Darba gaitā izstrādāti matemātiski modeļi magnētiskās indukcijas sadalījuma gaisa spraugā aprēķinam, sūkņa p(Q) raksturlīkņu aprēķinam, ņemot vērā magnētiskās indukcijas sadalījuma nevienmērību pa kanāla platumu. Izmantojot viendimensiālo turbulento modeli, veikti ātruma profila aprēķini un tā ietekme uz sūkņa p(Q) raksturlīknēm. Izveidots speciāls eksperimentāls kontūrs ar zemā temperatūrā (283K) kūstošu InGaSn eitektiku diskveida indukcijas sūkņa pārbaudei. Tika mērīti galvenie sūkņa raksturlielumi – spiediens un ražība, noteikts sūkņa lietderības koeficents un novērtēta iegūto eksperimentālo datu atbilstība ar šādu sūkņu teorētiskajiem modeļiem un aprēķiniem.

Darbs izstrādāts Rīgas Tehniskajā universitātē un Latvijas Universitātes Fizikas Institūtā.

ABSTRACT

PhD aim of the thesis «Research of the pump with rotary permanent magnets for transportation of liquid metal» is to improve the pumping calculation methodology and to empirically test the electromagnetic induction pumps with rotating permanent magnet parameters and their correlation with the theoretical evaluation.

Mathematical models for magnetic induction distribution at the pumps air gap calculation, pumps P (Q) curves calculation by taking into account the imbalance of magnetic induction distribution along the channel width were developed in this work. Using one-dimentional turbulence model speed profile and its effect on pump P (Q) curves calculations were carried out. Special experimental circuit filled with low temperature (283K) InGaSn eutectic melt for disc type induction pump test was created. Main pump parameters – pressure and flowrate and efficiency was measured. Experimental data were compared with theoretical calculations to evaluate adequacy for such pumps magnetic systems calculation.

The work was performed at Riga Technical University and at the Institute of Physics of University of Latvia.

Promocijas darbā izstrādāta metodika konstrukciju elementu formas optimizācijai, izmantojot metamodeļus. Metodika paredz NURBS atbalsta vai mezgla punktu izmantošanu konstrukcijas elementu formas uzdošanai, to izvietojuma plānošanu, metamodeļu būvēšanu un pielietojumu formas optimizācijai. Tiek apskatītas tikai konstrukcijas elementu gludas formas, kuras tiek uzdotas ar NURBS. Negludas formas netiek apskatītas un ir izslēgtas no optimizācijas procesa. Iegūtās konstrukciju elementu formas ir viegli tehnoloģiski realizējamas, un tai pašā laikā formas optimizāciju ir iespējams veikt ar parastu vidējas skaitļošanas jaudas datoru. Metodika paredz komerciālās CAD programmatūras, kā arī RTU izstrādātās programmas EDAOpt eksperimentu plānošanai, metamodeļu būvēšanai un optimizācijai pielietošanu.

Promocijas darbam ir 6 nodaļas, secinājumus un literatūras sarakstu ar atsaucēm uz 120 literatūras avotiem. Darbā iekļautas 13 tabulas un 112 attēli. Promocijas darba kopējais apjoms ir 143 lappuses.

DOCTORAL THESIS «Application of metamodeling for shape optimization of constructional elements» THESIS DEFENDED November 29, 2013 SUPERVISOR Professor Aleksandrs Januševskis, Dr.sc.ing.

ABSTRACT

In the thesis the shape optimization technique is elaborated by using metamodels. The technique consists of designing location of the control points of polygon or knot points of NURB splines for the shape definition and building of the appropriate metamodels of responses for subsequent optimization.

The smooth shapes defined by NURB splines are obtained using the proposed technique. The jagged shapes are not analyzed and are excluded from the optimization process. The obtained shapes are implemented in a technologically easy way. Additionally, the design and optimization methods do not require large computational resources and can be realized by ordinary personal computer. The technique is based on using the commercial CAD software as well as the original code EDAOpt developed at RTU for design of experiments, approximation and optimization.

This thesis consists of 6 chapters, conclusions and 120 literature references. It contains 13 tables and 112 figures and together with the attachment is 143 pages.

Promocijas darbs balstīts uz skrūves tipa kompresoru asimetrisko rotoru kontakta virsmu kalpošanas laika palielināšanas iespēju izpēti. Darbā izpētītas rotoru konstrukciju īpatnības, kā arī veikta raksturīgāko kompresoru atteikumu izpēte. Veikta rotoru materiāla parametru analīze. Analizētas rotoru dilstošo virsmu noturības palielināšanas iespējas. Veikta rotoru ģeometriskās formas izpēte, izveidotas matemātiskās sakarības, kas ļauj aprakstīt rotoru profila līknes un jebkuram apskatāmam profila apgabalam izgatavot profilējošo instrumentu. Analizēti rotoru profilu atjaunošanas iespējas.

Veikta rotoru kontakta virsmas uzlabošana, izmainot materiāla virsējā slāņa mehānisko īpašību raksturotājus, veidojot tos ar nodilumizturīgiem TiN pārklājumiem.

Veikta kontakta virsmas stāvokļa analīze gan mikro, gan nano līmenī. Izveidota datu salīdzināšanas metodika pēc vairākiem kritērijiem. Veikta rotoru materiālu raksturojošo parametru izmaiņu teorētiskā salīdzināšana, efektivitātes izvērtēšanai.

ABSTRACT

The aim of the doctoral thesis is to research the increase of service life of contact surfaces of screw type compressor asymmetric rotors. The work studies peculiarities of rotor design, as well as the most characteristic compressor failures.

The rotor material parameters as well as the possibility to extend the stability of rotor wearing surfaces were analysed.

The paper studies geometrical forms of rotor. Mathematical coherences were established allowing to describe the rotor profile curves and make a shaping tool for any profile area under consideration. The rotor profile restoration possibilities are being analysed. Improvement of rotor contact surface was carried out by changing the descriptors of mechanical properties of the upper layer of materials and by covering them with wear resistant TiN coatings. Analyses of contact surface condition has been done on micro- as well as on nano- levels.

Data comparison methods have been developed according to several criteria. Theoretical comparison of changes of characterising parameters of rotor materials was performed in order to assess the efficiency.

PROMOCIJAS DARBS «Aerodinamisko stendu cilvēka brīvajam lidojumam parametru optimizācija» AIZSTĀVĒTS 2013.gada 21.janvārī VADĪTĀJS Profesors Dr.habil.sc.ing. Valērijs Ušakovs APRAKSTS

Darba galvenā zinātniskā novitāte ir metodiku izstrāde, izmantojot trīsdimensiju parametriskās datormodelēšanas programmu SolidWorks un CFD paketes. Šī programmu pakete ļauj izveidot dažādas aerodinamisko stendu un to sastāvdaļu trīsdimensiju ģeometrisko modeļu versijas, kā arī veikt to virtuālo appūšanu, tādējādi iegūstot izstrādājamo stendu konstrukciju optimālos ģeometriskos un aerodinamiskos parametrus.

Izstrādātā metodika nodrošina adekvātu modelējošu parametrisko datoraprēķinu veikšanas iespējamību. Tas ļauj noteikt interesējošos aerodinamiskos raksturlielumus, kuri apmierinoši sakrīt ar eksperimentālajiem datiem vai zināmiem teorētiskiem aprēķiniem, tādējādi apstiprinot izstrādātās metodes adekvātumu.

Izstrādātas rekomendācijas mobilo un stacionāro stendu cilvēka brīvajam lidojumam konstruēšanai. Izstrādāto minēto stendu projektēšanas metodiku aprobācija tika veikta Latvijas uzņēmumā, kas izstrādāja un izgatavoja stendus sadarbībā ar ārvalstu uzņēmumiem. Daļēji datormodelēšanas un skaitlisko aprēķinu metodika tika izmantota, izstrādājot dažādu modifikāciju aerodinamisko stendu ar iegremdētu brīvu vertikālu gaisa strūklu, ko izgatavoja un uzstādīja Latvijas uzņēmums Latvijā, kā arī virknē citu Eiropā un Āzijas valstu.

ABSTRACT

Development of methods using three-dimensional parametric computer simulation software packages SolidWorks and CFD allowing to create different modifications of 3D geometric models of aerodynamic stands and their elements, as well as to perform their virtual blowing reaching optimal geometric and aerodynamic parameters of developed constructions of stands.

The developed method allows parametric computer calculations accurately simulating the researched physical phenomenon and allows to define interesting aerodynamic characteristics, satisfactorily matching the experimental data or known theoretical calculations, confirming the adequacy of the method.

Recommendations have been developed for engineering of mobile and fixed stands for free flight of human. Testing of engineering methods of the stands was executed by the Latvian company which developed and manufactured the stands together with foreign companies. In particular the method of computer simulation and numerical calculations was used during the development of the aerodynamic stands of different versions with submerged free vertical air jet. The stands were manufactured and installed by the Latvian company in Latvia and in a number of countries in Europe and Asia.

Promocijas darbs veltīts gumijas tehnisko izstrādājumu jaunu aprēķina metožu izstrādei un esošo uzlabošanai statiskas slodzes gadījumā mazo un vidējo deformāciju apgabalā, ievērojot elastomēra īpašības un šo izstrādājumu konstruktīvās īpatnības. Izstrādātas gumijas-tehnisku izstrādājumu aprēķināšanas metodes mazu deformāciju apgabalā, kur ņemta vērā: elastomēru vājā saspiežamība, neelastomēra slāņu deformācija un elastomēra fiziskā nelinearitāte. Piedāvāta saliktas konstrukcijas formu gumijas tehnisko izstrādājumu aprēķināšanas metodika. Papildināta Delta-metode, gumijastehnisko izstrādājumu aprēķināšanai vidējo deformāciju apgabalā, ievērojot gumijas vājo saspiežamību. Izstrādāta gumijas tehniskā izstrādājuma stinguma raksturojuma, «spēkspārvietojums», analītiskā risinājuma precizitātes novērtējuma metodika, kas iegūta, izmantojot pilnās potenciālās enerģijas minimuma principu. Piedāvātas trīs jaunas kompensējošo gumijas-tehnisko izstrādājumu konstrukcijas, kas nodrošina nepieciešamo stinguma raksturojumu «spēks-pārvietojums».

Izstrādāta šo kompensējošo gumijas-tehnisko izstrādājumu aprēķināšanas metodika.

ABSTRACT

Doctoral thesis is devoted to the development of new calculation methodologies of rubber technical products and the improvement of the existing ones in the case of static load in the area of small and average deformation, taking into consideration the properties of the elastomer and the structural features of these products. Rubber-technical products calculation methodology is developed in the area of small deformation, taking into consideration weak compressibility of the elastomer, the deformation of the non-elastomer layers and physical non-linearity of the elastomer. The calculation methodology of rubber technical products with composite construction forms is proposed. The Delta-method is supplemented, for rubber - technical products calculation in the area of average deformation, taking into consideration rubber weak compressibility. The assessment methodology of stiffness characteristics of rubber technical products, «force – displacement»and of the accuracy of the analytical solution is developed, which is obtained, using the principle of complete potential energy minimum. Three new compensatory constructions of rubber - technical products are proposed, which provide the necessary stiffness characteristics «force – displacement». The calculation methodology of the mentioned compensatory rubber - technical products is developed.

Pašreizējo situāciju civilajā aviācijā raksturo palielināta izmēra, sarežģītības un pieaugošas lidaparātu izmaksas. Tendence palielināt lidaparātu izmērus, to nestspēju un pasažierietilpību rosina nepieciešamību palielināt gaisa kuģu komerciālo izmantošanu, pielietojot principu – ekspluatācija pēc tehniskā stāvokļa, pielietojot kādu no nesagraujošās kontroles metodēm online režīmā ekspluatācijas un/vai stenda izmēģinājumu laikā.

Lielizmēra konstrukcijās bojājumu koncentrācijas vietu var uzskatīt kā atsevišķu lokālo zonu apvienojumu, kas nosaka visas konstrukcijas ilgmūžību. Pieņemot, ka noguruma bojājumu uzkrāšanās konstrukcijā noris stohastiski atkarīgi, tiek piedāvāta Lokālo Zonu Hipotēze. Uz divpakāpju eksponenciālās sadalījuma funkcijas bāzes ar logaritmisko ilgmūžības aprēķinu izstrādāts četru parametru matemātiskais modelis noguruma pretestībai.

Modelis apvieno noguruma ilgmūžības sadalījuma funkcijas aprakstu, noguruma līknes, izturības robežas, ciklu jūtības slieksni.

Darbā dots piemērs resursa aprēķinam helikoptera ķīļa sijai.

Parādīts, ka labākās nesagraujošās kontroles metodes, veicot tehniskā stāvokļa monitoringu lokālajām zonām, ir akustiskās emisijas un termovīzijas metodes. Kontrolēta kritiskās lokālās zonas sagraušana, kura, šajā gadījumā ir indikators noguruma bojājumu uzkrāšanai visai konstrukcijai, ļauj izstrādāt konstrukciju ekspluatācijas metodes pēc principa – droša tās sagraušana (Fail Safe Concept).

ABSTRACT

Present situation in Civil Aviation is characterized by increased size and, complexity and costs of aircraft vehicles. Tendency to increase the size of aircrafts and load and passenger capacity brings about the necessity to increase the commercial use of aircrafts applying the principle - operation according to the technical condition by application a non-destructive testing (NDT) method in online mode during the operation and/or the bench tests.

The point of fatigue damage accumulation (FDA) of large size construction can be considered as a combination of separate local zones which defines the durability of the construction. Assuming that the fatigue damage accumulation in the construction is stohastically dependent, the thesis proposes the Hypothesis of Local Zones.

A four parametric mathematical model for the fatigue durability was developed with the logarithm of loading cycles on the bases of double exponential probability distribution. The example of a Safe Life Time (SLT) calculation is given for a keel beam of the helicopter.

It is shown that the best method of nondestructive test for monitoring of Local Zones’ technical condition is the method of acoustic emission and thermo vision.

Advanced controlled destruction of the critical Local Zone, presented as an indicator of FDA on total Design, will allow to develop the operation methods based on the principle of safe destruction of a design (Fail Safe Concept).

Darbā tiek apskatīta pozicionēšanas sistēmu optimizācija, kur tiek analizētas ierobežotu spēku, ierobežotu fāzu koordinātu un jauktas vadības sistēmu optimizācijas. Darba praktiskais pielietojums ietver reālu robotizēto izpildmehānismu izgatavošanu un eksperimentālo pārbaudi.

ABSTRACT

In the dissertation completely new high-speed 2D (two dimensional) and 3D (three dimensional) robotic executive mechanisms systems (actuators) are developed and the theory for the optimal synthesis of machines and mechanisms in the field of the positioning is improved. The novelty of the research comprises the studies in the field of the synthesis of robotic executive mechanisms (in positioning). The work deals with the optimisation of positioning systems, where the optimisations of limited force, limited phase coordinates and mixed-type control systems have been analysed. The practical application of the research comprises the creation of real robotic executive mechanisms and their experimental testing.
