PERRY CENTER Opened in 2009, the Charles R. and Nancy V. Perry Center for Emerging Technologies is located in Alachua, Florida, in the heart of Florida’s high tech corridor, about 13 miles from Santa Fe College’s Northwest Campus. Charles and Nancy Perry began dreaming of a center to serve citizens of northern Alachua County when they recognized the positive impact SF’s Blount Center had on accessible education in East Gainesville. The Perry Center fulfills that dream of providing a college education close to home for these community members. The Perry Center focuses specifically on emerging technology degrees. The center is equipped with cutting-edge laboratories and state-of-the-art technology classrooms. The Perry Center is intentionally located near Santa Fe High School, which offers a biotechnology program that articulates to the SF Biotechnology A.S. degree, and is across the street from Progress Corporate Park. Progress Park is a growing industrial park anchored by the University of Florida’s UF Innovate | Sid Martin Biotech facility.
