SFC SERVES KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE IN THE COA STAL
Thank you for your continuing support to the school we all love. I send you greetings as we enter a vibrant 2025-2026 school year.
As you peruse this SFC Impact Report, I have a question for you: Whose world is this that we live in? The powerful? Political leaders? Celebrities? You?
Before you pose the answer, I imagine some of you are thinking, “Well, since we are a Christian school, the right answer is always Jesus. So, we will say Jesus owns the world.” But, wait, take a step back and look at the whole of scripture. Yes, His kingdom will prevail. In the meantime, the Psalmist gives us quite a different perspective:
Children. He gave the earth to children.
Listen to the counsel of Psalm 115:14-16 when David writes:
May the LORD give you increase, you and your children!
May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth!
The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man.
God kept the heavens to himself, and he gave the earth to the children of men.
Children are the hope of the world. I imagine many of you have been at a funeral, and the air was thick with grief and mourning.
And then, off in the churchyard, you see children giggling, running, and tumbling in the grass. They may not understand what a funeral is, but they know they are safe with moms and dads. And, in the midst of pain, their presence and joy serve as Christ’s reminder that there is hope. Children are the beacon of hope for the future.
Your Santa Fe Christian Schools stands as an extension of that gift. Ultimately, if we follow this passage, the school belongs to the children enrolled, to the children yet to come, and to the babies of North County who have not yet been born. For, as a part of the earth, the school belongs to them.
This summer, I have pondered that Bible passage deeply and considered how it applies to our school. Of course, we do not recruit first graders to serve on the finance committee, security team, or faculty because that would be silly! But we adults are stewards of this school that, in fact, belongs to the children of men. That stewardship compels us to work hard every day for the sake of children. We advance curriculum, fine-tune policies, raise funds, build facilities, volunteer time, and give generously to make the school a better place for the children.
Please read and pray over each page of this SFC Impact Report. Ask how you could be involved in 2025-2026. It is your school in a way. It is yours in that you have a responsibility to make SFC better. Join me in being humble stewards of the school that belongs to the children of men.

“THE USEFUL PURPOSE of all knowledge is to manifest the glory of God and to inspire man to love all that is good.” These words from John Amos Comenius in the 1600s remind us that learning is not an end in itself, but a way to cultivate wisdom, character, and devotion to God. Guided by this truth, SFC has prayerfully shaped our all-school Student Learning Objectives to nurture academic achievement that is foremost, Christhonoring. Through them, we seek to form students who discern truth, act with courage, serve with humility, and lead with compassion, embodying Christ’s living truth in every sphere of life.
HIGH SCHOOL 24/25 built on SFC’s strong tradition of integrating faith, leadership, and real-world learning by launching the Introduction to Business course. Long known for our beloved Senior Business Week, we are expanding on this experience by opening our first student-run cafe, where students manage every aspect of the business, from ideation to operations. We believe it is essential to prepare our students not only with practical skills but also with a biblical understanding of vocation and the redemptive purpose of work. Through this course, students will learn to see business as a means of service, creativity, and influence for God’s glory.
MIDDLE SCHOOL guides our students as they develop a keen sense of who they are and how they fit into the greater community. During 24/25, the MS carefully examined our program to identify ways we can further impress on the truth that every person is made in the Image of God, the Imago Dei. In the 25/26 school year, we are introducing a new 6th Grade Seminar, an eight-week course shaped by the GRA²CE framework to deepen our student culture. Our goal is for SFC Middle School students to develop empathy and a Christ-centered love that prepares them for meaningful impact in all spheres of their lives.
Your Investment Equips Teachers and Inspires Students Your Support
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AT SFC commits to the truth that lasting growth is built on strong foundations. Time-tested phonics instruction, thoughtful and confident writing, strong number sense, and mathematical problem-solving skills cultivate both creativity and perseverance. To ensure our students flourish, we are dedicated to supporting our teachers. In the 24/25 school year, we expanded professional development opportunities and added a Math Specialist to our ES, who provides K–5 teachers with regular and consistent instructional coaching. By investing in our teachers, we are ensuring that every child experiences a learning environment where foundations are strong, skills are deepened, and curiosity is nurtured.

THE SFC ARTS PROGRAM glorifies God by teaching students to worship their Creator through the art they create. Whether through music, theatre, or visual expression, students discover joy and purpose while honing their craft. Onstage or behind the scenes, they learn to see themselves as storytellers, communicating truth and beauty. At SFC, our teachers are professional artists and passionate mentors who challenge students to boldly explore ideas and mediums. As they progress, students find their unique voice and style, creating meaningful art that reflects both excellence and faith.
The production of Guys and Dolls represents over 120 High School students coming together to accomplish the same goal. Professional musicians and the crew, all servicing their peers and audience. These incredible students pour their hearts out on stage!”
MATT CORSARO SFC DRAMA DIRECTOR
THE COMPREHENSIVE GLOBAL Ministries and Community Partnerships program engages all grade levels to instill a profound sense of compassion and the significance of sharing the Gospel. Through various outreach initiatives, our Elementary School students begin to understand the power of kindness and generosity by serving in local communities. Middle School students expand their horizons while serving local and domestic communities. As students advance into High School, they engage in international service projects alongside local and national efforts. By traveling beyond borders, our students learn to pray for those in need and the transformative power of faith in action.
Our family is invested in the students and Global Ministries program at SFC because we want to see future generations grounded in faith and prepared to serve the world.

SINCE 2022, SFC has been building something truly special: the Student Tuition Endowment (STE). Thanks to your generosity, this initiative is helping ensure that every qualified student has the opportunity to attend our school, no matter their financial circumstances. Together, we are approaching a major milestone: $1.5 million in endowed funds, ensuring we are committed to long-term sustainability to supplement our existing financial assistance. Your partnership—whether as a parent, alumnus, or friend of SFC—has played a vital role in this progress. Every gift has helped lay the foundation for a stronger, more inclusive future.
The STE is already providing meaningful tuition assistance to families in need. This endowment reflects a long-term investment in the mission and values that define SFC. With your support, we are making SFC more accessible for future generations.
THE CHRISTMAS GALA 2024 served as both a celebration and a heartfelt thank you to donors who contributed $3,000 or more to SFC’s Annual Fund. Now in its 17th year, the elegant event took place at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. We were honored to have Patrick and Ainsley Lenihan graciously host the evening, making it truly unforgettable for all who attended. The night was filled with joy and laughter, including the Lenihans sharing stories about their five children, a moving performance by SFC’s own Chamber Chorale, an exquisite four-course dinner, and a hilarious comedy show by Dustin Nickerson. Thank you to our incredible families and friends who joined us and helped make the night so special.
SFC’S 37TH ANNUAL AUCTION was quite a Havana Nights celebration! Our amazing SFC community came together to make a tremendous impact for our school. The evening featured colorful florals and vibrant décor, a lively auction, Latin-inspired cuisine, and non-stop fun—Havana Nights was truly a night to remember. A heartfelt thank you to our incredibly generous donors, attendees, and volunteers for making this remarkable night possible.

SFC ALUMNI PARENTS
THE CLASS OF 2025, a group of 113 remarkable seniors, achieved outstanding success in their college admissions journey. They received a staggering 613 acceptance letters from prestigious four-year colleges. 100% of students who applied to a four-year college were accepted. About 96% will attend a four-year college, and 4% will pursue a two-year college, gap year, or trade school. This diverse group of students, with unique strengths and interests, will attend colleges in-state, 36%, and 71% outof-state. About 12% of the class has chosen to continue their education at a Christian college or university.
SFC High School Principal Mike Siciliano says, “The class of ‘25 started new academic classes and programs, and also published academic writings. They gave unforgettable theatrical performances, built new traditions like the lipdub, and even invented a new event—Tuesday Night Live—that will live on forever! Athletically, this class competed at the highest levels. The class of 2025 raised the bar at SFC, and we are forever grateful!”
