Having recently partnered with SANFORD WINERY for the most memorable wine-tasting experience on the Central Coast, NANCO HELICOPTERS now offers private picnic and tasting tours for two ($499/ person) via a scenic 30-minute flight on a Robinson R44 Raven. From the hangar in Goleta, owner/ pilot Taylor Nancarrow flies guests up the Gaviota Coast and over the Sta. Rita Hills to the winery, located in the western end of the Santa Ynez Valley. “We saw an opportunity to provide a unique mode of transportation to one of the most renowned vineyards in Santa Barbara County,” says Nancarrow. “We look forward to sharing this high-end experience with our customers.” Upon arrival, oenophiles are greeted with sips of bright, not overly oaky Chardonnays, crisp rosés, and luscious Pinot Noirs sourced from the Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, La Rinconada, and more. “We encourage guests to ask questions and our hosts to adapt the level of detail to their preference,” says Sanford sales director Francesca Lindley. Topping it off—a rustic and elegant picnic overlooking the stunning vineyards along with the estate-grown wines. G I N A Z . T E R L I N D E N NANCOHELICOP TERS .CO M SANFORDWINERY.COM
