2/18: Jennifer Tyburczy In her newest book, Sex Museums: The Politics and Performance of Display, Tyburczy shows museums to be sites of culture-war theatrics, where dramatic civic struggles over how sex relates to public space, genealogies of taste and beauty, and performances of sexual identity are staged. 7pm. Painter Dalva Duarte uses a combination of impressionism, cubism, and surrealism in an energetic blend of styles that attract, captivate, and mystify the viewer, while Boliviaraised California native Kim Reierson, who graduated from UCSB, has worked as a photojournalist and has published photography book Eighteen: A Look at the Culture That Moves Us. Proceeds
