*Before the start date of the program, should the U.S. State Department issue a “Travel Warning” that warns American citizens against all non-essential travel to Paris, France, ACCENT will immediately advise SBCC to cancel its program. If the program is canceled by SBCC, ACCENT will refund the entire program fee to all participants on that program.
Travel & Housing Air Transportation. SBCC has contracted with ACCENT to provide travel and housing arrangements for the Paris Summer ’18 Program.
Group Flight Deadline: March 16, 2018 ACCENT will organize an optional round-trip group flight from LAX to Paris on a regularly scheduled airline. Airfare is not included in the
program price. Space on the group flight cannot be guaranteed after the flight payment deadline March 16, 2018. The group flight must have a minimum of 10 participants. In case the minimum is not reached, the group flight may be canceled.
Information meetings for the program will be held on the SBCC Campus.
You may make your own travel arrangements if you do not wish to travel with the group.
Attendance is not mandatory for participation in the program
ACCENT representative(s) will meet the group flight participants at the appropriate airport in Paris on June 25, 2018.
Parents and students are welcome to attend.
For the group arrival transfer, ACCENT will arrange a coach bus or taxi transfer from the Paris airport to the designated arrival point in Paris. All participants are responsible for checking in at the designated arrival point and time on the scheduled date of arrival. Participants missing the transfer and/or check-in time are responsible for making and paying their own transfer and first-night accommodations respectively. Detailed arrival information will be provided to all participants approximately two weeks prior to arrival.

Housing Arrangements. Exact housing placements will be provided to participants upon your arrival. Double/triple single-sex occupancy rooms in shared student apartments with a kitchen, bathroom, and general living area, will be provided in Paris. Roommate requests can be send to ACCENT after acceptance into the program once the program has reached its minimum student participant requirement.
