An EAP is a voluntary, work-based program that offers free and confidential assessments, short-term counselling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees who have personal and/or work-related problems. An EAP is designed to address a broad base of personal concerns such as stress, relationships, substance abuse, financial problems.

An EAP counselling must be accessible 24/7 through its website or call centre (if available). Employees can contact their local EA provider directly by phone or online chat; they will then schedule an appointment with one of our trained professionals via email or text message if necessary. Employee assistance are confidential; therefore we never share your personal information with anyone outside of the organization without first obtaining consent from you either in writing or verbally during an appointment.*
