Looking at the data, Halifax’s single-family home prices have been volatile. From 2022 to 2023, prices dropped by about 6.9% ($610,000 to $568,000), likely reflecting higher interest rates and economic uncertainty that cooled demand. In 2024, prices rebounded slightly by 3.3% to $587,000, suggesting some recovery.
