2. BLANK CANVASES INSTALLATION

The implementation of temporary and tactical urbanism allows for the exhibition of a range of interventions that will later be distributed around Brighton as part of the Blank Canvases. This interchangeable exhibit enriches the immediate site, fosters engagement, and offers a sense of transparency which permeates from within the manufacturing facility.

The canopy market is a versatile space that can host farmers, artisans and fundraising events for dedicated social gatherings within Portslade.

The structure itself, made from reclaimed materials; is a testament to the possibilities of architectural reuse; facilitating engagement and opportunities for a diverse range of individuals and groups, leading to further enrichment and value on site. Iterative sketches exploring various layouts

Located on the Canalside in Wolverhampton, the client wished to explore the possibility of converting their property into a residential dwelling for a 2 person 1 bed configuration.

An iterative process was used to maximise the site and achieve a 46m2 GIA and a suitable layout for living.

Proposed Flats, Pre-App, Wednesbury

The client requested to explore the feasibility of an apartment blocks proposal on their land.

As such, the Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council design guides were used in laying out two apartment blocks with 4 flats each and to put together a site plan for the following preapplication:

• 8 no 2 bed 3 person apartments (60m2 each)

11 no car parking spaces

• 8 no Cycle parking spaces

• 3 no 1100 litre bins shelter
