Bonnie Raitt returns to the stage with “Just Like That...Tour 2022,” a national tour launching in April and running through November that includes music from her forthcoming, long-awaited studio album. Hailed by NPR as “one of America’s defining voices of freedom and peace,” Staples is the kind of once-in-a-generation artist whose impact on music and culture would be difficult to overstate.
Broadway has a long history of producing songs that become so popular they enter the “Great American Songbook” and become standards for all time. Broadway conductor Rob Fisher and the incredibly versatile Broadway vocalist Bryonha Marie, one of today’s brightest young stars, have created a program of just such songs that generations have decided are our best songs. Expect to hear classics like “But Not For Me,” “In the Still of the Night,” “The Lady is a Tramp” and so many more!

Led by Grammy® Award-winning pianist and composer Arturo O’Farrill, the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra is heralded as “one of the best jazz orchestras in existence” by The New Yorker. A transnational project to bring the people of the United States and Mexico together through music that prompted an album, book and documentary, Fandango at the Wall was inspired by the annual Fandango Fronterizo festival at the Tijuana-San Diego border. The San Diego Symphony does not appear in this program. There will be no Intermission in this 90-minute performance.

The San Diego Symphony does not appear in this program.
