Nominations Now Open for 2019 Military Child of the Year Operation Homefront, the national nonprofit building strong, stable and secure military families, is accepting nominations for the 2019 Military Child of the Year (ages 13-18) now through December 5. Awards will go to recipients representing each branch of military service, and an Award for Innovation will be given to a military child who has designed a bold solution to a significant challenge.
