Lisa Gipson Local Mom Blogger Releases New Cookbook
Jackie Bruchez, Oceanside mom of three and creator of the popular blog The Seaside Baker, recently released her first cookbook, Decadent Fruit Desserts: Fresh and Inspiring Treats to Excite Your Senses. The book features unique fruit desserts for any occasion (such as Meyer Lemon Chiffon Cake, Fresh Fig Banana Bread and Cantaloupe Rose Sorbet) and beautiful color photos. What is Bruchez’s idea of the perfect Mother’s Day? “A delicious brunch out (so I don’t have to do dishes) with a bloody mary or two, followed by a massage or facial and a trip to the Farmer’s Market where I can buy whatever I want. I like to spend a portion of the day with my family and the rest of the day relaxing and recharging.”
