As our family grows, it’s hard to squeeze in everything on our to do list. At the end of the day, we often push exercise off until tomorrow, convincing ourselves we will be less tired if we take a night off. Instead, we spend downtime on the couch, lost in a digital world of glowing screens. Parents lead by example, so if we want kids to lead a healthier lifestyle, it’s important to show them how it’s done. Establish designated times when screens are off and interactive family time is the focus. Here are fun ways to encourage a healthy lifestyle—together.
