RULE REMINDERS 5.21 Outdoor feeding of any wild or domestic animal (including cats, dogs, birds, raccoons, possums, skunks, waterfowl, etc.) is prohibited in the Park. This includes all types of seed or grain bird feeders and 5.22 If Resident chooses to display holiday decorations (including lights) on the outside of the Mobilehome or in the yard area of the space, such decorations must be removed within ten (10) days of the holiday. Christmas lights and decorations must be removed by January 15th.

11.2 To avoid damage to underground wiring or plumbing, residents must have the prior written consent of Management before digging or driving rods or stakes into the ground. Resident will bear the cost of repairs to any utilities or property of the Park, which is damaged.

Residents must have their own garden tools. The Landlord will not provide any equipment or tools to Residents.

11.5 Each space must be kept in a clean and orderly manner and lawns and shrubbery must be properly cared for on a regular basis.

Home sites must be kept free of weeds, trash, debris and litter at all times. Landscaping must be kept trimmed and may not hang over lot lines or in the street. Tree roots that are causing damage to neighboring property are the responsibility of the tree owner.

FALL CLEANUP It’s that time again to clear-out and get rid of all that clutter!

Dumpsters will be here starting November 9th through November 20th

As a reminder, absolutely NO ELECTRONICS, this includes Televisions, Computers, Printers, refrigerators, etc. NO HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS, Paint, Stains, Varnishes, Oils, Motor Oils, Anti-freeze Please break down any large boxes, and place item as far forward as possible to allow to maximize each dumpster and prevent unnecessary dumps.

Understanding type 1 Here’s what you need to know about type 1 diabetes. The CDC estimates that nearly 1.6 million Americans have it, including about 187,000 children and adolescents. Type 1 diabetes occurs at every age and in people of every race, shape and size. There is no shame in having it, and you have a community of people ready to support you.

Learning as much as you can about it and working closely with your diabetes care team can give you everything you need to thrive.

Understanding type 2 Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes—and it means that your body doesn’t use insulin properly. And while some people can control their blood sugar levels with healthy eating and exercise, others may need medication or insulin to help manage it. Regardless, you have options—and we're here with the tools, resources and support you need.

A key part of managing type 2 diabetes is maintaining a healthy diet. You need to eat something sustainable that helps you feel better and still makes you feel happy and fed. Remember, it’s a process. Work to find helpful tips and diet plans that best suit your lifestyle—and how you can make your nutritional intake work the hardest for you.

Fitness is another key to managing type 2. And the good news, all you have to do is get moving. The key is to find activities you love and do them as often as you can. No matter how fit you are, a little activity every day can help you put yourself in charge of your life.

Understanding gestational diabetes Gestational diabetes can be a scary diagnosis, but like other forms of diabetes, it’s one that you can manage. It doesn’t mean that you had diabetes before you conceived or that you will have diabetes after you give birth. It means that, by working with your doctor, you can have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. No matter what, know that you have all the support you need for both you and your baby to be at your best.

We don’t know what causes gestational diabetes, but we know that you are not alone.

It happens to millions of women. We do know that the placenta supports the baby as it grows. Sometimes, these hormones also block the action of the mother’s insulin to her 10

body and it causes a problem called insulin resistance. This insulin resistance makes it hard for the mother’s body to use insulin. And this means that she may need up to three times as much insulin to compensate.

The key to treating it is to act quickly—because as treatable as it is, gestational diabetes can hurt you and your baby. Work with your doctor to keep your blood sugar levels normal, through special meal plans and regular physical activity. Your treatment may also include daily blood sugar testing and insulin injections.

Understanding diabetes from other causes In addition to type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes, a small minority of people develop specific types of diabetes due to other causes. This includes:

Monogenic diabetes syndromes, such as neonatal diabetes and maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY)

•

Diseases of the exocrine pancreas, such as cystic fibrosis and pancreatitis

•

Drug or chemical-induced diabetes, such as with glucocorticoid use, in the treatment of HIV/AIDS or after organ transplantation

Because these types of diabetes are rare, they are often misdiagnosed as other types of diabetes. You can learn more about these types of diabetes in the Classification and Diagnosis of Diabetes section in the Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes. If you think you might have one of these types, be sure to talk with your doctor.

3. Motion to Approve Minutes from June 25, 2020 Regular Board Meeting by Ms. Taylor, second Maureen Shields. Motion passed unanimously.

4. Announcements: Mr. Lambert stated that in his absence he has asked Mr. Hetyonk to take the lead on the “Bids/Project Review Work Group,” working with Mr. Holland and Mr. Rieck to evaluate maintenance project bids to make recommendations to the Board in addition to the Board having received the material to review prior to meetings and votes. Meanwhile Mr. Holland will continue to gather and follow-up bids for areas including the lake, road depression, lake wall, trees, irrigation, etc.

5. Financial Report for the Month Ending June 30, 2020: Given by CFO David Hetyonk; available in office Financial Binder.

6. Management Report/Maintenance Review (Attached) Given by Courtney Holland.

Board discussion of a water leak/road depression by #62 and need for timely action despite only 1 of 2 companies approached (Toro and Tierra Construction) responded. The Tierra Construction bid was $4,135; they have done similar work previously for the Park. Mr. Hetyonk gave input that the Tierra bid should be “not to exceed” that amount. The Board directed Mr. Holland to coordinate with Mr. Hetyonk on the bid to move forward on the repairs.

7. New Business A. Motion by Mr. Hetyonk to approve formation of the 2021 Budget Review Committee (chair-CFO David Hetyonk, John Hofmann, Leanne Lustig and Dan Beeman); second Mr. Rieck. Motion passed unanimously.

8. Motion to Adjourn: By Unanimous Consent the Regular Meeting was adjourned at 6:54 pm.

Manager’s Report - July 2020 Leak Detection at Space 165 was successful allowing Antonio with some help to repair the leak.

There is a deviation in the road base adjacent to space #62, I have reached out to Tierra and Toro Construction on estimates for investigation and repair.

Quite a few of our latent lot violators are responding better now that they have received their individual $50.00 fine and know that it will only go up if not corrected.

I am still working on developing Scopes of Work and gathering Bids for the following:

   

Tree Trimming Irrigation Valves at Office/ Pool Lake Wall assessment with David Hetyonk; I have spoken to 2 engineering companies who have suggested that I contact Pool Builders.

Asphalt Speed bumps

The Manager will be on Vacation August 7th returning to work on the 17th
