SCHOOL FOR HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT,BELGAVI.

School for Holistic Development, designed to integrate academic, physical, creative, and community-focused spaces. The layout includes organized classroom blocks on the left, promoting structured learning, while nearby administrative areas ensure efficient school management. A central courtyard serves as an open space for assemblies, outdoor activities, and student interactions, fostering collaboration and physical well-being. The mid-section features spaces for libraries, art, and creative learning, encouraging intellectual and creative growth. On the right side, the plan emphasizes physical development with an athletics track, a basketball court, and changing facilities for sports and fitness activities. A large multipurpose hall in the center caters to events, performances, and gatherings, supporting cultural and group activities. Finally, the circular structure at the top, likely an auditorium or specialized facility, acts as a visual and functional centerpiece, reflecting the school’s focus on holistic education. The plan balances academics, physical education, creativity, and community-building to ensure well-rounded student development.

Hindalga, a locality in Belagavi (Belgaum), Karnataka, is situated in the northwestern part of the state, near the borders of Maharashtra and Goa. KARNATAKA

The idea behind the design was to create a visual connect with the main natural featur of the site which is the pond.

The brief was to design a low-rise group housing which includes 16 1BHK, 2BHK3BHK units.Other basic amenities & recreational spaces such as the departmentastore , gym , shops, swimming pool & tennis court are also included as part of the master plan.

Three distinct residential clusters have been created, each catering to different housing needs: 1BHK (one-bedroom), 2BHK (two-bedroom), and 3BHK (three-bedroom) units. These clusters have been strategically located throughout the site, taking into account the desired views and the overall hierarchy of the development. Parking facilities are distributed across the entire site, ensuring convenient access for all residents. Additionally, bushes planted in the setback areas provide natural shade for the parked vehicles, enhancing the aesthetics and comfort of the parking zones.

A central gathering space has been thoughtfully positioned adjacent to a picturesque pond, which serves as the primary focal point of the community. This space is designed to encourage social interaction and provide a serene environment for relaxation and community events. The combination of well-planned residential clusters, ample parking, and inviting communal areas creates a harmonious and appealing living environment.

The different rectreational & amassing spaces are all spaced close to the pondwalking track has been designed across the pond along with some seating so thathe residents can experience the view & the cool climate created through the pond & the natural plants

The spaces have been designed keeping the heirarchy of areas in thoughts. Each unit has balcony sit-out areas which help them get maximum light into the residing and bed room areas and additionally get perspectives of the pond

This is a modern, minimalist house with a mix of traditional and contemporary design elements. The structure features clean lines, white walls, and decorative red perforated screens for ventilation and aesthetics. The house includes a covered porch, large windows for natural light, a balcony on the upper floor, and a terrace area. Landscaping around the house adds greenery, and the design combines functionality with visual appeal.
