A trabalho ou a passeio, a carioca Paula Giolito sempre pega a estrada com sua câmera e procura as melhores cenas a serem retratadas. Esta imagem faz parte de uma série à qual ela se dedica há três anos: pelo menos uma vez por mês, a caminho da casa de seus pais, na Região dos Lagos, no Rio, para no acostamento e clica esta paisagem. “Ela sempre esteve ali, mas um dia a percebi diferente e quis fotografá-la. Agora é impossível passar e não fazer um novo registro”, conta. Whether on business or for pleasure, Rio de Janeiro native Paula Giolito always hits the road with his camera, looking for the best scenes to be portrayed. This image is part of a series to which she has dedicated that past three years: at least once a month, on the way to her parents’ home in the Lagos region, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, she parks on the shoulder of the road and shoots this landscape. “It was always there, but one day I saw it differently and I wanted to photograph it. Now it’s impossible to pass by here and not stop for a new shot,” she says.
