**GT Trainings - All elementary teachers, honors teachers, and AP/DC teachers need the TEA Foundational 30 hours and a 6-hour update each year after.**

If your GT credit is obtained outside of SAISD (example Region 15 ESC, College Board, etc ) you must upload your certificate by July 31, 2025 in order to receive release time in your classroom on August 8th. Note: RBIS Reading or Math will count for the 6 hour GT update.

Procedures for Recording ALL GT Professional Learning

All GT and Advanced Academics training (Region XV, College Board, etc.): Only teachers can request credit for this training in Eduphoria (don’t forget to attach certificate). Eduphoria will automatically request approval from the Advanced Academics department before it is recorded as GT training in your portfolio.
