Facade design is another scope of work in this project besides master-planning. Few domestic key elements were selected and transformed as facade typologies. We built the entire architecture model using those elements, and consolidated it as below diagrams, which makes the presentation easy to follow.
Product a comprehensive analysis of the proposed master layout plan with detailed evaluations on planning strategy, circulation, transportation and EVA to demonstrate how the MLP connects the surroundings, meets the project’s goals, regulatory requirements, and user needs.
This site is formed by 5 plots along the Qinhuai River. Site level is varies with restricted site constraints in each plot, especially building height and site boundary. To articulate the spatial relationship, section drawings were made to measure the approximated headroom and depth excluding the structure.

During the detailed design to construction phase, my role as project manager and architectural designer involved attending regular meetings, liaising with the client’s project manager on contract administration, conducting site inspections, preparing defect lists, proposing design alternatives, and coordinating with consultants for structural and building services to ensure efficient and integrated solutions.

Visual mockups were built for comparsion and asked us for comments; therefore, I prepared a comparsion report to reply to client togehter with our professional points of views.

During construction, the role of project manager was undertaken, involving regular meeting attendance, liaison with the client’s project manager and stakeholders, site inspections, defect list compilation, and review of shop drawings, RFIs, and sample submittals to ensure compliance and quality.

We has undertaken a concept design, site planning and technical feasibility study for DFS T Galleria covering the lower and ground levels. At the Schematic Design stage, I was responsible for detailing the plans, elevations as well as the details. I also applied materials to the illustration for presentation.

At its detailed design till construction, I was responsible on producing the drawing set, from its plans, elevations, sections to its fixture details. Besides, I prepared the fire safety drawing sets, worked with the local fire safety consultant and submitted to the FS department for approvals.

Exploring the design of intricate forms, their atmospheric affects and strange qualities using various 3d modelling softwares. Advances in robotic fabrication and building-scale 3D printing is about to radically change the relationship between cost and form, with highly intricate geometries becoming cheaper than conventional fabrication of rectilinear geometry.
