Dear CICI Member:

I am pleased to announce the Chemical Industry Council of Illinois’ (CICI) 28th Annual Membership Products and Services Directory for your use. CICI’s membership has grown to represent many firms and associations with a history of providing high quality services and products for the state’s chemical industry.

The members of CICI are arguably the “experts” in their respective fields. The directory is divided into ten sections:

• CICI Member Company Profiles

• Chemical Products and Services

• Electrical & Industrial Support Services

• Engineering and Construction Services

• Environmental and Health Services

• Equipment, Supplies, and Emergency Response Services

• Legal, Management, and Communication Services

• National Associations

• Safety and Security Services

• Terminal, Transportation, Logistics, and Laboratory Services

Changes to the CICI Membership Directory will be posted on the CICI website at www.cicil.net

Please note that the companies contained in the Directory provide support for a fee. By providing this Directory, CICI is not specifically endorsing these companies. Also, every effort has been made to ensure that the information in the Directory is correct. If you should discover any errors, please contact Lisa Leahy, at LLeahy@cicil.net Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Note: Any CICI member can participate in this Directory. If you’d like to be included, please let me know.

Compliance counseling. Our team provides focused assistance in attaining and maintaining compliance with Federal and State statutory, regulatory, and permit requirements related to air, water, waste, and cleanup programs.

Permitting. Thoughtful and thorough planning and negotiation with regulatory and permitting staff are paramount to seeing a project succeed. We assist clients in applying for, modifying, renewing, and/or challenging construction and operating permits.

Regulatory development and interpretation. Having a seat at the table when regulations are being developed can minimize surprises and enhance our ability to advocate for our clients' interests during the rulemaking process.

Transactional. We assist in each phase of a real estate transaction, from phase 1 investigations through closing, including evaluating remedial options and negotiating liability concerns.

Pre-enforcement negotiation. We assist clients in navigating their available options leading up to and throughout the pre-enforcement process, including development of technically sound plans and negotiating cost effective and manageable Compliance Commitment Agreements.

Enforcement and litigation. When a favorable agreement can't be reached outside of litigation, our team is ready to aggressively represent clients' interests. We represent our clients in actions brought by Illinois EPA, Missouri DNR, USEPA, OSHA, and other administrative agencies, as well as in litigation filed by private parties.

Legislative affairs and lobbying. Some problems can only be addressed by appealing to Illinois' General Assembly. We help clients craft innovative solutions and advocate on their behalf before the legislature.

SolAmerica Energy is helping companies across Illinois save on electrical expenses and hedge against escalating prices and volatility.

Company Overview

SolAmerica Energy is a leading provider of turnkey solar energy and battery solutions. We specialize in projects for large commercial & industrial facilities as well as small- to medium-sized utility-scale projects. We rely on best-in-class materials, operational excellence, on-time execution, and highly competitive pricing. Headquartered in Atlanta, the company has offices in Washington, DC, Chicago, IL, Jupiter, FL, and New York City

• A complete, turnkey solution – SolAmerica’s services span design, engineering, permitting, construction, O&M, and project finance.

• A nationwide partner – With experience throughout the US, we are an ideal partner for multi-facility companies looking for energy cost savings.

• Success over a large volume of projects – SolAmerica has successfully provided hundreds of megawatts of solutions for customers across the US.

• Strong Financial Backing – In early 2023, SolAmerica was acquired by AB Carval, a global investment manager with $17 billion in managed assets.

Is your company prepared for energy price volatility, uncertainty and expected increases?

Supported by state-based incentives, on-site solar energy presents an opportunity for Illinois-based facilities to save significant costs on their electric bill while hedging against looming energy shortfalls and associated price escalation.

• System-wide energy demands are growing rapidly, driven by new data centers and other market factors, while traditional generation sources are going off-line, creating volatility and uncertainty.

• State incentives effectively lower the cost of going solar or adding battery storage, making it highly competitive with utility-supplied electricity.

• The electricity produced displaces electricity that would otherwise be purchased from the utility, however, the company remains “on the grid.”

• The most popular approach is a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), where the customer locks in a flat long-term rate for electricy with no capital expense or O&M costs, allowing for immediate savings

• Ideal customers have either available open ground or an unobstructed roof.

• Annual capacity under the incentive program is limited and offered firstcome-first-served.

Please contact us to quickly see if you are an ideal candidate for on-site solar.
