LIVING ON CAMPUS

You’ll find variety of living options to suit your needs at SHSU. If you’re interested in the Honors College or specific majors, you can apply to live in one of our living communities, where you’ll get to connect with like-minded peers and form deeper relationships with your professors. All first-year students who have been out of high school for less than a year are required to live in university housing.

BEARKAT DINING

Like we said – the food here is good! We have two dining halls and other locations across campus to fit your busy schedule. With options like Chick-fil-A, Freebirds, and Starbucks, you can choose what fits your mood. You can also select the meal plan that works best for you. Each meal plan offers Bearkat Bucks, our pre-paid system for flexibility at dining locations.
