THE TRUTH ABOUT ABORTION Abortion Pill: 5-10 weeks Mifepristone, Misoprostol Cost: $350-$600 The first medication, Mifepristone, blocks progesterone from the uterine lining cousing the baby to die. The second medication, Misoprostol, taken later, causes strong contractions to expel the baby.

In essence, the baby’s nutrition is cut off, starving him/her to death.

Suction (Aspiration) D&C Abortion: 5-14 weeks Cost: $320-$600 The cervix is dilated with cone shaped rods, and a suction device is inserted in the vagina. Strong suction rips the fragile baby apart, removing the parts through a tube called a cannula. A metal scraping instrument called a curette is used to scrape the lining of the uterus to ensure no pieces of the baby are left inside.

Dilation and Evacuation: 15-24 weeks Cost: $500-$2000 Often a two day procedure. Day One: the cervix is dilated with laminaria rods to make the opening large enough to dismember and remove the developing baby. Day Two: laminaria are removed, and an instrument called a sopher damp is inserted into the uterus and used to pull the baby out limb by limb. The skull is crushed and removed.

Any remaining body parts are removed by suction and/or curette.

Third Trimester Abortion: 25 weeks - to birth Cost: $4,000-$15,000 This is a 2-4 day procedure. Day One: A medication called Digoxin is injected through the mother’s abdomen and into the baby’s heart. The baby’s heart goes into a sporadic rhythm and painfully stops beating.

Days 2-4: The mother’s cervix is dilated, and her child is delivered dead.

How can I be a part of God’s family?

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring you to God, after being put to death in the fleshly realm but made alive in the spiritual realm.

Romans 10:9-11,13 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation. Now the Scripture says, No one who believes on Him will be put to shame, . . . For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Acts 3:19-20 Repent and turn back, that your sins may be wiped out so that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and He may send Jesus, who has been appointed Messiah for you.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.

Prayer for salvation, adoption, and commitment to Jesus

Dear God, I realize that I have sinned against You and that I cannot save myself. I want to be adopted and grafted into Your family as Your child and heir.

I want to turn away from my sins and follow You. Jesus, I believe in You. I believe that You died on the cross and shed Your blood so that I would be forgiven of all my sins and become a child of God. Jesus, I believe that You defeated death when You rose from the dead so that I could have the gift of eternal life. I ask that You forgive me of all my sins, come into my heart and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. “Please help me to daily discover Your unconditional love, so that I will be able to love You more and more each day. Help me make Your priorities, my own priorities in my life. I am sorry for and I repent of my sins. Please help me understand and make Your viewpoints instilled into my life’s viewpoints.

Whenever I fall or sin, help me always turn to You and not away from You. Jesus, You are the Son of God, my Lord, my Savior, my friend, my all in all. Give me a burning desire and holy boldness to tell other people about You so that they might ask You to live in their heart as well. Thank You for forgiving me of all my sins and allowing me to be in Your family. I am on my way to Heaven. I pray this sincerely. Jesus, You are Lord of all and Lord of my life. Amen

How do I know I’m adopted?

John 1:12-13 But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, or of the will of the flesh, or of the will of man, but of God. Romans 8:15-17 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!”

The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Who is Jesus?

having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ, 10 to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. 13 Therefore I ask that you may not lose heart at my troubles for you, which are your glory.

the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts. 19 They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But you didn’t learn Christ that way, 21 if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit, 23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
