ALBANS Volunteer Opportunities Are you a Town resident who would like to get more involved with your local community? Would you like to learn more about the Town from the inside? If so, the Town of St. Albans has various exciting volunteer positions available. Appointments are made by the Selectboard. Development Review Board The Development Review Board (DRB) is charged with conducting formal hearings on developments in a fair and unbiased manner. At their hearings, the DRB takes testimony, reviews evidence, and renders decisions in accord with our land use regulations. The DRB meets twice a month and is staffed by our Zoning Administrator. There are vacancies for two alternate positions. Town Planning Commission If you have an interest in policy and directing the future of St. Albans Town then serving as a

Planning Commissioner may be for you. The Planning Commission (PC) is a group whose work is instrumental in defining who we are as a community as they are responsible for drafting the Town Plan and other Town regulations. The PC meetings are twice a month and is staffed by our Director of Administration.
