Notices Town of St. Albans, VT. Volunteer Opportunity Town Garage Relocation Committee The Town is forming a Town Garage Relocation Steering Committee. The Town Selectboard has prioritized removing the Town Garage from its current location on St. Albans Bay. The Steering Committee will investigate logistics, needs and best practices. Research may involve visiting or contacting other municipalities. The Steering Committee will advise the Selectboard on the new Town Garage on location, features and construction during their decision making process. The Committee will meet as needed, likely once or twice per month.

Parks and Recreation Committee The Town is forming a Parks and Recreation Committee. The Committee will seek to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors to our community through recommendations to the Selectboard. The Committee will inventory the existing assets of the Parks and Recreation Department and assess their conditions. The Committee will be responsible for creating a vision, prioritizing future projects based on community need, and submitting recommendations to the Selectboard. The Committee may work with Town staff on procuring grant funds for specific projects as directed by the Selectboard. The Committee will meet as needed, likely once per month. Restorative Reintegration Programs Play a central role in the continued development of the Saint Albans Community Justice Center’s Restorative Reintegration Programs. The Justice Center has two full-time openings: The Restorative Reintegration Specialist will develop and facilitate a menu of restorative justice processes and programs for our offender reintegration programs and clients. This position requires a flexible schedule and evening meetings. The ideal candidate will have: • Foundational knowledge of Restorative Justice Programs and Processes • Advanced group facilitation skills • High level of comfort working with offenders • Ability to work with diverse coalitions • Volunteer management experience • Track record of program development The Reintegration Case-Manager will provide onsite case-management, program supervision, and outcomes tracking for our offender reintegration and housing programs and clients. This position requires a flexible schedule and occasional evening meetings and on-call service.
