United Way of Northwest Vermont (UWNWVT) is hiring a full-time Resource Coordinator (RC). Working Bridges is a collaborative of local employers (managed by UWNWVT) focused on practices to support their collective workforce. The RC works at 4-6 employer sites & directly assists employees with non-work related issues. Also, the RC provides program coordination & assistance for onsite programs, including financial education workshops & tax preparation. The primary role of the RC is to provide onsite resource coordination for employees at their place of work. The RC will meet with employees individually to assess, educate and coach them about community and employer resources to address life issues that are impacting work productivity. The RC will participate in the evaluation, training development and innovation pilots for the employer network. As the lead for developing new employer partners, the RC will produce a strategy for expanding the employer partners offering onsite Resource Coordination services throughout the Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle region. Qualified candidates will possess entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to build relationships, honor diversity and adapt to different work environment. They will also possess strong communication, excellent listening, and effective speaking skills. Organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple commitments to employer worksites, complex employee resource needs, program responsibilities and development work. Knowledge of local community partners, including employers, nonprofit organizations and government agencies highly preferred. Valid driver’s license and personal transportation required. Must be willing to work non-standard work schedule including nights, weekends; After-hours event attendance occasionally; Some overnight travel may be required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
