Looking for a couple, with experience providing personal care and behavioral supports, to provide a home for a fun loving gentleman. Daily care would include meal prep (with special attention to food consistency), some dressing and bathing, medication administration, making and attending needed medical appointments (with support from his family and team). NCSS would provide all needed trainings in behavioral supports and for his individual communication means. Must be an excellent team plater, good with communication and provide a safe and caring home environment. Must have reliable transportation and cleared background. Respite Provider – DS

Are you inspired to provide care and attention to another? To be part of that person’s life and help them to grow? Do you have skills in American Sign Language, and respect for people who are differently-abled? Then we may have the job for you! Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is looking for an active individual to provide every-other-weekend respite support to a bright, happy, social, 24-year-old deaf woman with a supportive family who uses a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy. This position has potential to entail assisting this individual with various activities in the community such as Physical Therapy and swimming. Individual has a handicap accessible van available for staff to use. Staff must be willing to assist with personal care. Staff must be willing to be trained on Special Care Procedures by NCSS nurse. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid drivers license, and a passed background screening. Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) preferred. Behavior Interventionist – Developmental Services

Therapeutic Community Integration Services is seeking energetic candidates to provide support for individuals with emotional and behavioral issues at our 24/7 staffed residential setting in Franklin County and in the community. Ideal candidates should have a positive attitude and strong and supportive presence; the willingness to engage individuals with therapeutic interventions and the ability to provide highly structured, consistent, predictable and therapeutic environment. Prior experience working with people who have developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities and/or mental health conditions is a plus and experience working with individuals who display significant behavioral changes in residential and community settings, or more structured therapeutic settings preferred. Candidates must have reliable transportation and clear background settings.

Shared Living Provider – DS

Searching for home provider/roommate situation in St. Albans City for older gentlemen. Needs include assisting with meals, medical appointments/medications, and prompting with personal care. Loves to walk, socialize, likes routines. Provider must be flexible and understanding of the needs of those with intellectual disabilities. No children living in the home. Must be 21+ years of age, have reliable transportation, high school diploma, cleared background screenings, and pass a state-mandated home inspection. Respite Provider/Personal Care Attendant

Seeking an interested individual to work as a Respite Provider/Personal Care Attendant for 17 year old male with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Provider must be willing to work two weekends a month to support the client who enjoys outside activities such as fishing and hiking as well as video games, social opportunities and community activities. He likes keeping busy and has a great sense of humor.

Personal Care Attendant – Teen

We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and dedicated PCA to support a curious 15-year old, who has Sturge-Weber Syndrome - a seizure disorder. He loves to explore the outside, play board games, read books, and hang out. Ideal candidate will have experience working with children/teens with developmental disabilities and behavioral needs. Ongoing oversight and support will be provided from a behavior analyst. Goals include hanging out with client at home as well as bringing him to other activities within the community. Currently looking for both weekdays, afternoon and weekend support. This has the potential to grow into more hours as the job progresses. The family is offering competitive wages to the right candidate.
