Design Project is to propose a COVID Memorial and a Museum at Karwar Rd, Sadhashiv Nagar, Hubli, Karnataka 580029.

A Memorial that serves the basic purpose of reminiscence of the past and for people to look back at it positively and withv Emotions.

A Museum that captures the entire Emotional and psychological impact on human nature and its living through Architectural spaces.

A Cafeteria that will act as a relaxation space and a space to have the eateries and Embrace the entire space.

The term ‘luxury’ has many mean ings and much different type of meanings to different kind of peo ple. The word luxury as to what Google defines is “A state of great comfort or elegance, especially when involving great expense.” “It is a pleasure obtained only rarely or an inessential, desirable item, which is expensive or difficult to obtain.” The synonyms of luxury might be richness, leisure, bliss, delight, comfort, satisfaction and many more but actually it is just a ‘State of Mind’. Luxury is in fact connected with a man’s dreams and experiences that may help him to define what luxury is to him personally.

The objective of the organization is to create a platform for architecture students to learn, interact and grow.

The organization is a forum for everything an undergraduate architecture student should know, learn, and seek: to showcase and share critical ideas.

Participants must choose any existing construction project (medium scale), that involves 4,000 to 6,000 labour hours or estimated 1 to 2 years to finish amassing, which is also long past its beginning stage of construction. The construction proj ect should preferably reside more or less 20 families working on the site.

The work force could include a mix of regional migrating work ers from all over India, settling for couple of years in and around the site of construction.

hus, the competition invites projects where you can imag ine radical ideas for design of biodiversity or habitat spaces for one or more species. For this, there is no defined site, it can be a site of your choice: from degraded infrastructures, or retrofits on existing build ings or newly designed struc tures.

Participating teams are en couraged to incorporate new technologies, materials, unique forms and aesthetics to create habitats that support urban fauna. We are interested in seeing how you are develop ing constructive relationships in your chosen site, for a particu lar species or different species and how the details in your interven tion (architectural, spatial, or landscape based) are able to create home in the most cre ative way.

The participants are required to design a recreational space on the street which acts as a cultural exhibition space through which users can learn about the city. Cre ating an area for people to use as a play ground of knowledge where they may ob serve, contact, sense, experience, engage, play with, and learn from their physical and social surroundings. A location where individuals have very varied perspectives on the world and assign and receive var ious meanings and experiences to and from people, shapes, places, spaces, and things—most significantly, the ephemer al connection between people and the street.

DESIGN INSTRUCTION

Participants can choose the scope of the intervention, the programmes, the location, sustainable and the upcycling elements. Participants must remember that architecture is a discourse on occurrences in addition to a discourse on places as they are designing. This space should provide a connection between the locals of a city and allow a window for the visitors to view the unfiltered version of the place; with its imperfections, issues

and injustices taking place in it. It is to be designed to spread awareness about the place in all aspects. accepting the contemporary world in a varied and dynamic nation is chal lenging when the populace’s mentality is still in reverse. As young architects, it is our re sponsibility to comprehend and keep up with the needs of our expanding society and its citizens’ comfort. The goal of this challenge is to provide a clear idea of how space may be changed to create a balanced and more neutral atmosphere, which would minimize gender domination and challenges that minorities confront on a regular basis.
