Born and raised in the south, Sam is a current student of the Interior Design Program at Utah State University. She completed two professional internships. One at Kelly Wearstler Interiors in West Hollywood, California, and one at Alice Lane Home Collection in Salt Lake City, Utah. Passionate about all things design, art, and architecture, she was thrilled at the opportunity to travel with the Interior Design Program to Italy, France, and the UK in 2014. A lover of fresh clean design with a bit of sass, Sam is eager to begin her career as a professional interior designer.

Moody. Thats all this room is. Dark, feminine, and glamourous all at the same time. From the wooded floors, to the dusty rose velvet pillows on the bed. From the anthropologie wallpaper to the twin paintings hung symmetric to eachother framed with a laquered gloss frame. The double doors open up to a beautiful balcony that has a view of 4 stories. The chandalier is the perfect touch for some glamourous light and sparkle. The Alexander McQueen rug anchors the bed with a dark and moody vibe. What is a master bedroom without a little neon love? The custom “love me” neon light isjust what this room needed for a finished look!

Design elements include white subway tile and pink grout behind the bar as well as within the booth seating along the walls. Mint green barstool chairs and aluminum metals add a hip and unusual feel in this restaurant.

Design a 1,000 square foot home. One bedroom, one bathroom. the floorplan was inspired from the general concept of a roadmap. The home is complete with hardwood floors throughout, black and white patterns, an entertainment patio underneath the master suite, a lap pool, and a fire pit with an open concept floorplan. .
SORORITY HOUSE ROMODEL logan, utah
Completing a real life renovation of a sorority house on campus. A group project, each team member was given roles to achieve an overall concept and design for the top floor of the 3 story sorority house. The class wen t to the site, field measured the 5,000 square foot house, and put together an updated floorplan for each group to desin off of. Groups of 5 were to each come up with a design that was fresh and updated for the girls to enjoy. A makeup counter was added centrally on the floorplan. Bathrooms were added to each suite which was an upgrade to what was previously there, one bathroom with 2 shower stalls and water closets.

Welcome to the Emerald City! Pantone names Emerald the color of the year for 2013, but we’re seeing all shades of greens and expect more in the future. From bright spring greens to olives, and especially lots of different blues and greens! The pop art oil painting, “Persona” done by Katarzyna Typek is a one of a kind piece! Hung beautifully above the Kohler sunstruck model freestanding tub! The couple loves bold, statement prints and that’s just what they got! The charcoal grey and white spanish inspired tile cover the bathroom floor and we are loving every second of it! The geometric octogon black and white mirror that is hung perfectly above the twin sinks ad the perfect touch of sleek and classy. We could not be more obsessed with the Quartez couples master bathroom!
