Greenbay is a multi-storied office complex that accommodates multiple companies. Located beside Kuloor, Kavoor highway in Mangalore, the area is a prime location for an office complex, also surrounded by a commercial and industrial spaces. It is well connected, accessible and feasible for the users coming from the city. The structure includes 15 biophilic patterns and creates a healthy workspace for the users.

Through views, sensory elements, presence of natural elements, the building tries to connect the users to its surrounding nature

MIXED USE APARTMENT

Nirvana woods is a mixed use low cost housing complex. It includes four housing divisions that consist of EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG housings.

The irregular site shape has been used to its to its full potential to accommodate the housing along with commercial front, club house and public facilities. The commercial includes 8 stores, and a kiosk hall for small shops. Site forms a vegetative pockets for recreation and a central tranquil garden with fountains and gazebos to create a sensory transient space. The residential spaces also have been designed to include vegetative elements to provide tranquil interior spaces.

Antaraxia Palms is a business hotel in Manipal. The surrounding is underdeveloped and a mesmerizing green view. The project focuses on creating structure and site fused with green elements, having a serene and peaceful surrounding. The site was developed to accommodate a landscaping for the public, so that the users can enjoy the surrounding.

The hotels rooms are classified in 3, executive rooms, deluxe or suite rooms and connected rooms . The staggering form accommodates vegetative terraces. The project also includes a multipurpose convention center and business center for the occupants.

NOTRE DAME

This Catholic Cathedral is a fine example of French Gothic Architecture. I visited this magnificent

building on my trip to Europe in the year 2016. The church is one of the most magnificent examples of architecture as it captures the eye from the Conciergerie Arched bridge. Distinguished for its exceptional antiquity, symmetrical features and architectural interest, the cathedral was initiated by the then bishop of Paris, Maurice de Sully. In 1160, Pope Alexander III laid its foundation and the higher alter was consecrated by 1189. The structure is as marvelous from its inside as it stands with great beauty in the eastern end of Ile de la Cite. The dark nave is lit by the lights penetrating through the rose windows and the carving highlighted with accent lighting. The walls are adorned with fine gothic carvings and mounted with old testament king statues.

The rich ornamentations and the use of such detailed design features have laid the foundation for my interest towards classical and gothic design. It inspires me to think how the smallest details

impact a structure and can make a structure incredible.

A secondary stationary shop inside the MIT, Manipal campus that corresponds to the sustainable practices of reduce, reuse and recycle.

Built around the concept of the 3Rs and the shops functionality, it includes spaces for collection, storage and selling with a 3 wing structure

SCS PROJECT SHEET Throughout the journey of learning architecture, we came across various design projects, workshops and art skills. This includes knowledge on structural planning and material designing. Various hands on workshop include metal workshop and patterns and forms workshop. My inspiration lies in creating simple forms with complex background, mostly inspired by nature. As a hobby I also enjoy photography that helps in capturing the nature and structures around.

GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM

Frank Gehry is one of my idol architects and his groundbreaking de-constructism style inspires me to create structures out of the box. The creative style and challenging forms are seen to be spectacularly implemented in his buildings. His extraordinary ideas give a new look to the structures and breaks the monotony of the contemporary construction. He takes inspiration from nature, objects in the surrounding, flow, fluidity of form and complex organic forms.

The Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, is one of the prime examples of his work. Set on the edges of Bilbao River Nervion, and set in an industrial urban space, the organic swirling form created a center of attraction with a spectacular view. His style of using de-constructism in contemporary design is evident in the unconventional organic curves of the building. The fluidity of the form guides our eyes through the structure while creating a tangible physical connection with the city
