Notre collaboration ne s’est jamais arrêtée, et depuis il y a eu évidemment Kate, inscrite en 2013 au catalogue de la collection Fermob Idoles. Sa structure constituée d’un seul tube de métal courbé, la fluidité de ses lignes et son design sobre nous ont demandé plus d’une année de mise au point et le développement d’outillages spécifiques. Sa conception était un véritable pari technologique que seule cette entreprise pouvait relever ! Avec Fermob, nous partageons une vision commune du design, basée sur la légèreté et la joie de vivre. ” Patrick Jouin “My encounter with Fermob dates back to 1997 when Bernard Reybier discovered the prototype of what was later to become the Facto chair. We have never stopped working together and since then there has been the Kate chair that entered the Fermob Idoles collection catalogue in 2013. Its structure made up of a single bent metal tube, its flowing lines and simple design took us more than a year to develop, and required special tools to be created Its design was a real technological challenge that only this company could meet! Fermob and I share a common vision of design based on lightness and «joie de vivre».”
