THE PAVILLION
ProjeCT one
This project was to design a pavillion to display a select collection of works from three different artists. I selected works from Julia deVille, Sarina Brewer, and Polly Morgan; three artists who specialize in taxidermy sculptures. My pavillion was designed to highlight the red qualities of the works, as well as create fow through the circular space.
Cubist
The Cube: axonomeTriC anD unrolleD
This exercise was to practice imagining and defining space and voids. I was required to create a constant path around a cube that would connect to create one constant line, and use that line to define solid verses voids. This resulted in a cube that had been cut into and out of, with a chosen set of guidelines to define how to create the void space.
Distortion
PrimaTive figures
This exercise was to manipulate and reimagine simple shapes into three dimensional figures. These figures were created by applying action words to the shapes and manipulating them into different figures, then applying these actions to the shapes in rhino. This resulted in four different rendered images and drawings.
