Q: A:

When did you realize that you wanted to be a graphic designer? I knew when I was a young child that I wanted to do something in art but didn’t realize I could actually earn a living with it until I got to high school. Against everyone’s better judgement... I kept moving forward and here I am today.

Q: A:

Who is your favorite superhero? Wonder Woman without a doubt, not only was (is) Lynda Carter stunning... her costume was sexy and I believe everyone should have a lasso of truth. I know my life would be a lot easier if I had one.

Q: A:

Do you have any kids, if so, have any of them showed an interest in the arts? I have 2 kids, and 2 grandsons. My son Martin, 29, has always had an interest in music, plays the guitar and writes lyrics... but just for recreation. My daughter Alicia, 15, is the free spirit, the outgoing one. And the grandsons... too early to tell.

Q: A:

What kind of music do you like? I can listen to anything but I’m always drawn to my favorites: Motown, Blues, R&B and Neo Soul.

Q: A:

Anything else we should know about you? Let’s see... I keep fishing poles and a tackle box in my truck from May to September and I am a soduko freak. I love tattoos and coffee ice cream is my favorite.

Q: A:

What’s in store for your future? I’d like to retire to Savannah, Georgia in 10 years and keep designing on a part time basis while I go back to school to continue studying fine art and art history. I really just want to paint.

Another repeat customer.

My baby since its inception. This Bridal Planner was in its sixth year of publication when I left The Star-Ledger.

While designing last years brochure, the client insisted on a little “hand holding”... but once he say the result he let me have creative license on this years brochure.

I was responsible for desiging the whole book from cover to cover, with the exception of the adverisements. I also had to create the collateral for the sales reps to have in hand to sell advertising space.

“Simply beautiful” is how he described it. I had a blast creating this eight pager! Adding recipes and bartenders’ tips made this brochure engaging as opposed to an ordinary price list.

This product is just as much fun as creating all the collateral for its launch! I designed all the materials for KangooNYC.com’s U.S. launch including: the logo, mini-brochure, stationery, ads, coupons and signage. Although Kangoo Jumps are popular in Europe, the distributor who was responsible for the tr-state area launched this campaign, on her own—without corporate backing, to gain control of distribution up and down the Eastern seaboard... our efforts were a huge success!
