How to Boot Toshiba Laptop Using a UEFI Flash Drive? What is a UEFI? It is an abbreviation of the term Unified Extensible Firmware Interface. It does pretty much the same job that the BIOS do, i.e. connecting the computer’s firmware to the operating system. Due to the versatility of this interface, it is a rumor that it might replace the BIOS itself in future. Unfortunately, if you are a user of Toshiba laptop, then there is one issue that stops the users from creating a UEFI drive. It is mostly because of the stringent nature of InsydeH2O bios. While there are other ways to bypass this obstacle using the CSM boot mode, it usually defeats the entire purpose of why UEFI even exists.
