Meet Model Andrea D’lVal Hometown: I was born in Venezuela but now I live in Barcelona, Spain.

How did you get started modeling? Tell us about yourself.

Well, I was born in Venezuela, my mom was a famous designer in my city and she’s the one who started involving me in all the catwalks, photoshoots, events in town.

Was so fun for me, after that I made a lot of friends who loves to photograph artistic nudes and artsy ideas, I fell in love with photography and modeling.

Three adjectives to describe yourself.

Passion, energy, honesty What do you enjoy the most about modeling?

Modeling is a career that makes someone to have self confidence, personality, also I have a very chameleon personality so I love the fact one day I can do a photoshoot where I show myself sad or angry or serious. Or the opposite where I can show myself sexy, brave or happy.

I also love working with independent photographers more than with agencies.

Firstly, because there are low or no rules and regulations for work, so creativity explodes inside us and we can get to do an amazing job.

But I think the best part about being a model is that you can work in any country you want, so it helps me get to know many new places and explore.

What do you not enjoy about modeling?

The fact that there still exist people who are going to judge your body. But times

are changing and becoming more inclusive with the different sizes. Additionally, modeling can be awkward if the photographer makes suggestions that you’re uncomfortable with.

Favorite color?

The blue of the ocean and the red in my lips.

Favorite food?

Delicious Asian food drives me crazy, a good prawn pad Thai, sushi rolls, wonton soup and spring rolls. If I’m angry with you just take me out for food and I will love you again.

What designer would you love to model/walk for? Why? I would love to model for Carolina Herrera, she’s Venezuelan as me. I admire her and how she put the name of my country on top of the world. It would be a great honor to work for her.

What photographer would you love to shoot with? Why? Platón because he only shoots important people in the history of the world.

He can read the soul of the people he’s shooting trough their eyes. I always been wondering how would I look like. And another one I die for is a Colombian woman the name is Perazna, she’s just magic, making woman looks sexy all naked but never never never ordinary or vulgar.

Speak it into existence, where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I will be in my late 20s so I see myself enjoying and traveling all around the world, I’m starting to create my own fashion brand so I’m sure to that time it would be an amazing time of my life, exposing my collections, creating going to fashion shows, etc.

Dream vacation you would like to take (or have taken)?

My dream vacation is going to Iceland to see the aurora borealis, it’s my dream.

Your zodiac sign?

I’m a shiny, powerful Leo Favorite superhero? Why? Supergirl, she’s bulletproof as me.

What person, living or dead, do you admire the most?

Why? Emma Watson is an excellent example of what girls and women today can be, not skinny little toys for others to play with, but thoughtful and strong weapons ready to change the world. She fights for equality and makes me feel I don’t have to follow the crowd.

What’s your favorite quote? “tout vient à point à qui sait attendre” Which means: everything comes to those who know how to wait.

What’s your theme song?

“God Put A Smile Upon My Face” by Coldplay. My feeling is that it deals with thoughts of confusion about divinity. What makes some one good or bad; who is better and why; what is the point of life. Chris is suggesting that happiness is a gift from God. So, when I feel sad I put this song on and I start feeling I have God by my side.

What is your favorite body part?

My abs, they make me look strong. And my eyes... they can talk.

What do you do when you are not modeling?

My hobby since I am a babygirl is writing, poetry and all my thoughts, that’s my way to release stress and pain. But

right now I’m super focused on my first fashion brand which I’m going to launch next year. Stay tuned on my social media, I’m sure you will fall in love.

Favorite movie?

Eat, Pray, Love.

Favorite actor/actress?

Natalie Portman, she’s simply exquisite.

Your idea of “happiness” and/or your idea of “misery” For me, happiness is to live in the moment and to know how to enjoy the present.

Misery is having everything to reach happiness and to don’t appreciate it and be ungrateful about it.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Skydiving on my own Guilty Pleasure?

I want to inspire people to be free. breaking the limits that we can create out of fear. I discovered that life only wants you to live her and I am doing everything possible to prove it, that, and that I am not just a pretty face, I have much more to offer, stay tuned. Thanks!
