LIVE STREAMING EVENT

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13 AT 7 PM Join us from your living room for this year’s marquee event – a live in-studio broadcast featuring noted winemakers, exclusive live auction packages and a special chance to support ¡Salud! Services making healthcare accessible and affordable for vineyard workers and their families.

THE ¡SALUD! MISSION We work to make healthcare services affordable and accessible for Oregon vineyard workers and their families. THE NEED • Vineyard workers often move from crop to crop, and their short-term work status means they’re ineligible for health insurance coverage • For those with insurance, plans may cover basic services but leave patients with high deductibles which can mean putting off care until minor issues become major • Language barriers make accessing services and navigating the complex medical world challenging • Missing work to prioritize preventative care, or even necessary care means significant strain on the family budget HOW ¡SALUD! HELPS • Bilingual, bicultural team of three registered nurses and a program coordinator who focus on each patient and create custom solutions based on each person’s needs • Mobile services: we bring preventative services to the worksite to eliminate transportation and time barriers to seeking care • Wide network of providers, clinics and resources to connect patients to affordable care in their community • We help patients avoid medical expenses by negotiating with providers on patient’s behalf • Support for more than just healthcare: we connect patients to housing, legal, food security and other resources

–6–

THE ¡SALUD! MISSION CON TIN U ED COVID-19 & ¡SALUD! The challenge in the vineyard worker community • COVID-19 disproportionately affects the Latina/o/x communities • Many essential workers are Latina/o/x • Workers face specific barriers to care and recovery such as lack of insurance, inability to take time off work to seek care and shared living spaces making isolation challenging ¡SALUD!’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19 • No-cost COVID-19 screening brought to vineyards and worksites available for vineyard workers, family members and winery staff • Results delivered within 24 to 48 hours with personalized education and follow-up for each person • More than 1,000 vaccinations delivered • Case management and support for any patients who tested positive including connection to primary care, housing resources if needed, medical translation and more

“We can’t just sit still. We have to go out and do something about it.” – Leda Garside, R.N., M.B.A ¡Salud! Services Manager

LOS HEROES DE ¡SALUD! ¡Salud! is fortunate to have many partners who work to support its mission in creative and resourceful ways. In an effort to honor these true heroes of ¡Salud!, we have established the Los Heroes de ¡Salud! award. This award is presented in recognition of an outstanding business or individual who offer innovative contributions to the ¡Salud! program.

2021 AWARD WINNER – NANCY PONZI At long last we are honored to present Nancy Ponzi with the Los Heroes de ¡Salud! award; an award that she has truly deserved each and every year for more than 30 years. Driven by her concern for the health and wellness of a seasonal workforce, Nancy has been the heart and soul of ¡Salud! since its inception. As a founder and member of the original leadership group who established the framework for the ¡Salud! project, Nancy has had constant a presence in ensuring the success of the ¡Salud! for more than three decades. Much has changed in the industry over that time, but Nancy’s commitment to the mission has remained unwavering, ensuring the success of the annual auction to provide a consistent funding source for this important project. Humble in her accomplishments, Nancy’s contributions to the success of the Oregon Wine industry are renowned and have helped lay the ground work that has established Oregon as a world-class winemaking region. Lovingly referred to as La Madrina (Godmother) by the ¡Salud! staff, a new mobile healthcare unit will be named in her honor. Thank you, Nancy, for being ¡Salud!’s founder, protector and ambassador for more than 30 years. ¡Salud! to Nancy Ponzi!

WINERY PARTNERS

691 Highway 99W, Dundee, Oregon 97115 www.argylewinery.com OWNER Lion Nathan WINEMAKER Nate Klosterman ESTABLISHED 1987 THE WINERY In 1987, Argyle was founded by pioneering vintner Rollin Soles, with a belief that the cool-climate of Oregon’s Willamette Valley was ideal for producing sparkling wines that could stand alongside the great wines of Champagne. In the years since, Argyle has played a pivotal role in establishing the Willamette Valley as one of the greatest places in the world for making sparkling wine. At the same time, Argyle’s focus on growing the finest grapes for its sparkling wines has evolved into a winemaking program that includes renowned Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Rieslings. Though the viticultural and winemaking techniques used to make Argyle’s sparkling and still wines are very different, both have earned acclaim for their elegance, vineyard-driven character and uncommon ageability. Today Argyle farms over 400 acres split between the red volcanic Jory soil of the Dundee Hills and the wind-battered slopes of the Eola-Amity Hills. Argyle’s original barrel room and winery in Dundee have been converted into the Argyle Tasting House, welcoming guests daily. Argyle is a proud supporter of ¡Salud!.

All items offered or sold in this catalog are subject to the following conditions: 1. The Auctioneer is the agent for the Seller. 2. By bidding, the bidder agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Purchase. 3. Seller does not warrant or represent, expressly denies responsibility for, and in no event shall be responsible or liable for the accuracy of the description of wines (or other items) offered, or the correctness of the catalog, including, but not limited to: the origin, rarity, age, genuineness, quantity, aging potential, present and future quality or condition. All statements by Seller are merely statements of opinion and are not to be relied upon by prospective purchasers as warranties or representations of fact. Prospective bidders, by so bidding, acknowledge that they have inspected the wines to their satisfaction and bid only as a result of their own inspection and option. All wine is sold on strictly an “AS IS” basis. 4.
