A well resourced Student Services team is The Key to solidifying the image of Saltus as a strong academic and nurturing environment. Our Student Services model begins and ends with the needs of our students. This is evidenced by building excellence in university preparation, expertise in learning strategies and student support through our Advisory Programme, Counselling Services and even mindfulness and yoga sessions!

SaltusLive is one prominent example of our progress towards the goal of better serving our community. System highlights include single-sign-on for parent resources (such as student billing and PTC Wizard), and ready availability of live data regarding each student’s progress. Other features include a robust athletics calendar; access to news and resources; online forms; and streamlined communications via class rosters and topics pages to help you explore curriculum along with our students, especially in the younger years.

One of our key strategic initiatives is to define our Portrait of a Graduate. A working team of students, faculty and leadership is driving the process to define those principles and measurable attributes that we know our Saltus students must have to be prepared to meet the world. Critical thinking, resilience, an ethical and innovative mindset, and leadership are all key attributes we are reviewing and will share with our community later this year. “If we are doing our job to inspire our students to lead us to a more just, fair and sustainable world, then learning will continue to look different and be valued in ways that go far beyond a final grade.�
