ELECTRICAL SAFETY WHEN YOU HAVE KIDS IN THE HOME

SECURE THE UNUSED WALL OUTLETS Consider using safety outlets that prevent foreign objects from being inserted. You can also block outlets with the creative arrangement of furniture.

USE A HIDE-A-CORD DEVICE If you're temporarily using extension cords, use a hide-a-cord device. You can also put electrical tape over unused plug holes on cords.

NEVER PULL THOSE CHORDS You must teach your children to remove the chords carefully without merely pulling it off.

KEEP OUT OF REACH Store bathroom and kitchen electrical appliances, like hair dryers and toasters, out of reach of curious children.
