PROJECT 3: “SELF-PORTRAIT”- PROPOSAL 1 Replaying a film series: Breaking the daily routine Focusing on facial expressions as well as actions in relation to context is important to understand the message. The grayscale helps focusing on these ideas without be distracted by the background; where the colors don’t add to the theme. Cropping the unneeded parts of the photos helps more in focusing on the expressions and actions while giving a brief about the context. More cropping even might do better. The idea is to show the sequence of actions and expressions you pass through when you travel for the weekend in the middle of a very busy and hectic time of work. Facial expressions are important to show in some of the pictures, while in some pictures its already enough to focus on actions and context. Different settings have different impacts on me, the contrast between the daily routine and the changes that we sometimes do to break it. The size of the photos shows them as a film series that is replayed every now and then.
