Brief: Design a museum that celebrates the city of Bhopal, its past, present and future.
Type: Museum
Software Used: Revit, Autocad , Lumion, Rhinoceros, Photoshop
Bhopal, a city steeped in cultural heritage, boasts a captivating history, encompassing its man-made lakes and the infamous begum rule. The museum’s mission is to rekindle the city’s connection with its inhabitants, delving into its past, present, and future, while celebrating the myriad of elements that make Bhopal truly unique.
The museum’s intent is to provide visitors with a journey through the history, current state, and future of the city as it undergoes continuous transformation. It encompasses different facets that contribute to the city’s distinctiveness as part of this immersive experience.
Bhopal, renowned for its cascading artificial lakes, serves as the muse for the museum’s architecture. The building takes the shape of three cylinders, each diminishing in size, symbolizing the gradual flow of water from one lake to the next. Additionally, the design mirrors Bhopal’s evolution, starting from its modest beginnings and progressing into the rapidly developing city it is today.

Brief: To Design a retreat center for the healing of mind, body and soul alike
Type: Retreat center
Software Used: Rhino,Revit, Autocad, Lumion, SketchUp,Vray, Photoshop
Located in the peaceful and spiritually revitalizing surroundings of Rishikesh, India, Moksha is crafted to offer a life-changing journey for those in search of inner tranquility and self-exploration.
Nestled among the verdant Himalayan foothills, right by the sacred Ganges River, Moksha’s tranquil ambiance creates an ideal backdrop for spiritual revival.
‘Moksha’ is an Indian philosophical concept centered on attaining spiritual liberation and inner tranquility. The pursuit of Moksha encompasses four distinct paths: ‘Bhakti,’ the path of devotion; ‘Karma,’ the path of selfless service; ‘Gyana,’ the path of knowledge; and ‘Raja,’ the path of discipline.
The Moksha center is thoughtfully designed with the aim of facilitating soul liberation by offering dedicated spaces for individuals to explore and follow each of these four paths.
COMMON SPACES
The building’s design draws inspiration from its environment, the sacred conjugation of the Ganges river that it lays beside.

Situated within the bustling and rapidly growing smart city of Bhopal, “Intertwined” delves into the notions of interconnectedness and sectional displacement to craft upscale housing for high-income groups, featuring abundant communal areas in the form of terraces.
Taking cues from Charles Correa’s Kanchanjunga apartments, the architectural concept here delves into interconnected three-dimensional forms within Apartments.
The idea of sectional displacement is employed to generate interest within the apartments, forging a distinctive connection between the various spaces, both horizontally and vertically.

Originally conceived as a portable toilet accessibility kit for convenient use in public restrooms while on the move or when visiting relatives, ensuring adaptability to various environments, even those lacking universal accessibility standards.
This product has since evolved into a single collapsible walker that can transform into a toilet seat when needed, and can be easily folded for travel convenience.
The 6 day CSEB Design course at Auroville Earth Institute covered all aspects of best-practices for the design of buildings built with Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks (CSEB). Topics addressed included a general overview of earthen architecture, overall guidelines for earth construction, specific guidelines for CSEB construction, structural principles, detailing, and cost estimation of CSEB buildings.
The workshop combined theoretical lectures, presentations, practical exercises, and personal work with a design studio that covered Bond patterns, foundation plans & calculations and detailing of basement, ring beams, precast lintels and reinforcement.
