A retrospective on the remarkable reign of Queen Geble, whose time saw groundbreaking technological advancements. Having triumphed over the first Detaxal invasion, she remains one of Gola’s most revered rulers.

From the reigning Queen herself: Commanding address from our Queen Lago, calling for unwavering vigilance and synergy to forever hold the mighty women’s descent.

A long-suppressed revelation—Queen Geble’s final recorded words. For ages, it was believed that only the Matriarch knew the full truth of the failed conquest. But now, newly unearthed evidence unveils her last testimony.

Exhibit A: A rare portrait of a Detaxal man—an emblem of fragile ambitions and the degeneracy of Gola’s first Earth manslaves. Now on display at the Gola Museum.

Gola’s women are renowned for their phenomenal command of the brain, but how well do you know Golan history? Put your knowledge of the past to the test in this perplexing crossword.

An anonymous reader submits a blackout poem crafted from the recorded narrative The Triumph of Gola–this time, it hints at Gola’s deepest, most unspoken

UEEN Lago’s Sermon Q

My daughters, my kin, the heart of Gola, we gather today not merely to honor the legacy of those who came before us but to strengthen the path for those who will inherit our rule. The past has shown us that conquest is rarely heralded by cylindrical warships alone.

In their wisdom, our foremothers recognized trespassers' threats—not only to our autonomy but to our very existence. When the Detaxals sought dominion over our land, they underestimated the strength of our unity, the power of our will, and the knowledge passed through generations of Golan rule. They mistook our refusal to wield violence as weakness, our governance built on intellect and harmony as frailty. They mocked what they could not comprehend and ridiculed what they saw as different, and so they fell—not to sword nor fire, but to the unyielding will of Gola. Our spirit, our resilience, our unity, these are the hallmarks of our history, and they shall guide us into the future. So it was then. So it shall ever be.

However, victory does not mean peace. We must not be so complacent and believe that conquest always arrives in the form of warships and soldiers. The invader is evershifting—if he cannot conquer through force, he will attempt to do so through persuasion. If he cannot claim dominion over our land, he will seek to infiltrate our minds, culture, and way of life. He will whisper of cooperation, mutual benefit, and shared progress—all while seeking to unravel the fabric of our strength.

us that the moment we waver and entertain doubt is when the seeds of downfall are sown.

We must remain steadfast in our resolve. For what is inevitable than resistance to those who seek to dominate? The Detaxalans arrived believing their strength lay in their hands, the weapons they wielded, and the chaos they could sow. They failed to understand that true strength lies in knowledge, conformity, and the unwavering force of people who will not yield.

It is a truth that echoes across worlds: those who believe their customs to be the only natural order will always see the difference as a disorder. In their lands, they ridicule those who do not speak, act, or think as they do. They see a departure from their norm as a weakness when, in truth, they are blind. Had they come with open minds rather than grasping hands, they might have seen the wisdom of our ways. Had they sought knowledge rather than control, they might have learned. Instead, they forced us to teach them the lesson all invaders must learn—that there are limitations to their power.

The nature of imperial ambition does not fade; it simply changes form. And so we must ask: Have we grown too at ease in our triumph? Have we allowed sentiment to dull the clarity of our purpose? History has taught

And so we remain vigilant. Even now, beyond our skies, there may be others who watch, wonder, and plot. They will whisper that our rule is unnatural, that our strength is misplaced. And when the time comes, if they seek to test us once more, they too shall learn. The fate of Gola will not be dictated by those who seek to reshape it in their image. It will be shaped by us—by our wisdom, our resilience, and our refusal to be conquered in any form. We stand firm in our commitment to our values, way of life, and beloved Gola.

We remain resolute and unbowed for Gola, for the future, and for our daughter's daughter.

HE Lost Testament of Queen Geble T

History is often told by the victors, but what about the stories that never got shared? A recently uncovered interview with Queen Geble gives us a firsthand look at the Detaxalan invasion, their arrogance, and her vision for Gola's future.

The Detaxalans believed they could subjugate Gola with ease. What were your first thoughts when you saw their ships?

(chuckles) Arrogance has a way of showing itself, doesn’t it? They pushed their ships through our sacred mists like they were entitled to everything beneath. I scanned their minds the moment they arrived, and what did I find? Confusion. They assumed that because they had conquered elsewhere, they would do so here. They had no comprehension of our world, our minds, or our power.

The Detaxalans viewed men as their dominant force, yet on Gola, women reigned. Did their ignorance amuse you?

Amuse? No. It offended me. Imagine creatures who rely on their fragile bones and noisy tongues, believing they were our equals. They looked for a king to negotiate with and couldn’t even imagine that I was in charge. It was almost funny. I let them think they had a chance, briefly. Then I sent them away.

But they responded with violence. Yes. Gola burned. Thousands died. They sought to teach us a lesson in conquest. Instead, they learned a lesson in obliteration. They underestimated us. Their ships were mighty, but their minds were weak. We seized control of their will, bent them to our power, and reduced them to dust.

Looking ahead, what is your vision for Gola’s future? How do you plan to rebuild after the invasion and ensure Gola remains a sovereign and thriving nation?

Rebuilding will take time, but we’re already making progress. First, we need to heal our people, our cities, and our trust in one another. The invasion tested us, but we will come back stronger. We’ll rebuild what was lost and make sure Gola remains independent. We will also invest in education and technology. Our children need to understand what happened and learn to protect our way of life. We’ll strengthen our defenses, not to attack, but to make sure no one sees us as an easy target again. My vision is simple: a strong, peaceful Gola where everyone can thrive, without outside control.

Many wonder about your thoughts on the future relationship with the Detaxalans. Do you foresee any future negotiations with them, or has the relationship between Gola and the Detaxalan Federation been irreparably damaged?

We are a peaceful people by nature, Valerion. But peace must be based on mutual respect. The Detaxalan Federation’s invasion has left scars that will take time to heal. We cannot forget the harm they caused, nor should we allow them to think they can simply erase the consequences of their actions. That being said, I will not close the door to diplomacy. If there will be a time when Detaxalans come to us with respect, acknowledging the sovereignty of Gola and offering reparations for the destruction they caused, then we may consider a peaceful relationship. But they must understand that Gola will never be a colony again.

Herbert Hoover—Federation President and chief architect of the Universal Occupation—was relentless in his pursuit of expansion during the 1930s.

There were classified records uncovered after the historic collapse of the multitude of cylindrical ships of the Detaxals—most notable is a faded photograph of the leader; a man clad in peculiar clothing, standing against the backdrop of an aircraft. Accompanying the image were documents asserting that the United States of America was at the forefront of technological advancements—out of sheer desperation in an attempt to escape the grip of the Great Depression.

Among the recovered materials were records of Earth men's amusing narratives pictured in what they call "comic strips" and "cinema" (a sensory motion picture) -- featuring tales of extraordinary, gore, and strange characters unbecoming of a man. Unbelievably so, these pursuits of the unusual and the fruits of imagination became wildly popular featuring

some works such as Frankenstein by a Mary Shelley, The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells, and Flash Gordon by an Alex Raymond. As per record, this marked the birth and legacy of science fiction in pulp magazines and cinema.
