BUILDING IMPACT MAKERS
DEVELOPING GRADUATES WHO ARE READY AND RELEVANT
DEVELOPING GRADUATES WHO ARE READY AND RELEVANT
We know that future society will face many significant challenges. While our Graduates have an infinite array of opportunities to make an impact on the world, we’re intentionally focusing on five key areas that reflect the interests most commonly pursued by our boys.
Through strategic partnerships, St. George’s School offers opportunities for our boys and others to engage in hands-on problem-solving, to work alongside industry leaders, and to develop the mindset and drive to be part of future solutions. This model will serve as a foundation for others to learn from, adapt, and build upon.
In Phase One of our work, we will focus on areas in which our boys have already indicated a strong interest.
Technology is reshaping every aspect of modern life, and with it comes the responsibility to develop, apply, and govern it ethically. Through a dynamic network of collaborative partnerships with industry-leading organizations, students will explore the interconnected worlds of robotics, artificial intelligence, aeronautical engineering, and data science in order to ethically harness technology as a force for good. Whether designing autonomous systems, studying AI’s societal impact, or pioneering responsible engineering, boys will graduate with a deep understanding of both the opportunities and responsibilities that come with innovation.
The ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and turn ideas into action is a requirement for tomorrow. Our entrepreneurship initiative empowers students to build, innovate, and lead, whether in business, social enterprise, or impact-driven ventures. Through immersive experiences in design thinking, venture creation, and economic strategy, students will learn how to take calculated risks and develop sustainable solutions as they endeavour to drive positive change within society.
We live in an era that demands decision-making, diplomacy, and strategic problemsolving in order to navigate both current and future global challenges. Through our connections to experts in collaborative, courageous, and caring leadership, students will develop the skills to relentlessly pursue truth. This initiative prepares our students to step into roles where they can influence policies, shape communities, and advocate for a better future.
Art is how we process the world and get to know its beauty, its complexity, and its untapped potential. Without the Arts, we risk losing perspective, memory, and human connection. Through connections to world-class programs in film, animation, and digital storytelling, students will explore the power of creative expression in order to inform, inspire, and drive social change. They will engage with cutting-edge technology as they collaborate with industry professionals and create compelling works that are designed to shift perspectives, inspire action, and spark meaningful change.
As global food systems face increasing pressure, the need for sustainable, scalable solutions has never been greater. Through an integrated partnership-centered approach that combines scientific research and new technology with social responsibility, students will work with industry experts to explore the future of green engineering. From regenerative agriculture and global supply chains to sustainable energy and environmental solutions, they will develop the skills required to address food insecurity and reimagine how we grow and share resources.
