Programs in the Biomedical Sciences The Health Advisory Committee provides support to students who plan careers in medicine, dentistry, or other health professions. Students entering Saint Peter’s University with the intention of applying to any of the various health careers programs should enroll as Biology, Biotechnology, and Chemistry or Biochemistry majors. In addition to the traditional majors in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics, Saint Peter’s has affiliations with several schools for highly motivated students with strong academic records. These programs offer students a unique opportunity to accelerate their academic studies and complete their professional programs faster and at a significant financial savings. Most programs listed below require students to spend three years at Saint Peter’s University followed by three or four years at their respective affiliated professional school. Programs of study include combined Bachelor degrees in Clinical Lab Sciences (Medical Laboratory Science), Master degrees in Physician Assistant, and Doctoral degrees in Dentistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy.
We offer top quality science and pre-med programs. Our Gannon Science Building contains equipment which will enable our students to explore cutting-edge technology in the field of science.

Our Relationship with Ross University School of Medicine Saint Peter’s University has an agreement with Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) to enable qualified Saint Peter’s graduates to study medicine at RUSM. This is not an accelerated program, as students still need to complete four years of studies at Saint Peter’s. Qualified Saint Peter’s students who earn full acceptance into the medical school will receive a scholarship toward tuition. The medical campus for RUSM is located in Barbados, but affiliate teaching hospitals are located throughout the US. 10/22
