AWARDS & SCHOLARSHIPS St. Edmund’s Honor Scholarship The St. Edmund`s Honor Scholarship was established by St. Edmund`s Retreat in Enders Island in memory of members of the Society of St. Edmund who served as faculty and staff members of Saint Bernard School. Each year seniors who have at least a 3.0 and are actively involved in the church and community are able to apply by writing an essay on “the challenge of living a life of virtue in the world today.” Sarah Engel `19 was the 2018 St. Edmund`s Honor Scholarship recipient. She received her award at the 15th Annual St. Edmund`s Medal of Honor dinner at the Mystic Marriott Hotel last October.
The James A. Greenleaf, Jr. ’87 Memorial Scholarship Fund
The James A. Greenleaf, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. was established to honor and remember an alumnus who lost his life as a result of the catastrophe which occurred in New York City in 2001. The fund is used to provide financial assistance to students attending Saint Bernard School.
