An architecture student’s family of four members (Father, Mother, Son and Daughter) has planned to construct a res idence at Tiruchirappalli. It is a nuclear upper-middle-class family in which the son is a budding architect. The COVID lockdown times would have definitely made you realize that you need certain specific spaces for your work as an architecture student. The design should be with free flow ing spaces along with visual connection between spaces so the feel of claustrophobic could be avoided in uncer tain situations like COVID. The architect son of the family would like to entertain his classmates during class group works and other specific occasions pertaining to architec ture studies as he is a day scholar. The family wants their home to be more functionally and aesthetically satisfying. A house becomes a home when the emotional connect between the user and the built-up space is stronger.

Living tiny has become the new living large. With the rise of the tiny house movement and expanding urbanization, designers and developers alike have turned their atten tion to tiny living. Balancing the bottom line with creative solutions for storage and versatility, these tiny spaces are made to utilize every inch of space.
Unlike a traditional studio flat, tiny apartment residents can benefit from the use of communal kitchens, bathrooms and roof gardens. While micro living has faced criticism for packing residents into tight spaces, the apartment should utilize clever solutions to maximize space while preserv ing comfortable living conditions for inhabitants. Combin ing durable materials, kinetic elements and precise detail ing, these tiny apartments reveal how to live large in small spaces and create room for everyday life.
The goal here is to plan and design a small residential building of Ground + 3 floors. The requirements were to plan atleast 4 medium size apartments per floor. The plot area available was 7565 square feet. It was not rectangular, and so apartments would be of differing builtup areas. Our main target were buyers looking for a medium size 2BHK apartment. There was an additional requirement for a separate Drawing Hall for guests wherever possible. A lot of options were pro posed. Our goal was to maximize usable area for the residents. Front open margin was fixed at 12′. Side margins were fixed at 6’ 6” on both sides. One plan was finalized after a few meetings with the develop ers.

03 RESORT
Location - Mukkombu, Tiruchirapalli
Brief -
This project exclusively deals with developing architectur al designs for a river resort. Located at 20km from Tiruchi rappalli city, Mukkombu offers all the beautiful setting for a perfect scenic holiday destination. The project site is located on the banks of Cauvery with picturesque views of Mukkombu dam and Park on one side and lush green plantations of coconut trees on the other. The project can be seen as a driving force in capturing the untapped po tential of local tourism in the area. The design should en capsulate the essence of the entire place in the way of its planning and its linkages to the surroundings. The design merit can be judged in developing a suitable built form to facilitate ample views to the surroundings and site plan ning that connects all the necessary blocks in the campus in a meaningful order. One must critically evaluate the site for choosing the spaces where built and unbuilt can be placed. Given an irregular site shape, the quality of site planning is crucial to hold the design together.

RESTAURANT
The restaurant industry is more competitive now than ever before, and every restaurateur is striv ing to provide the best in terms of food, service, and ambiance. This means that providing fine dining experiences is no longer enough to ensure your restaurant’s success in Dallas, TX.
While fine food and superior customer service are critical factors in encouraging repeat business, a restaurant’s architecture or design is just as im portant. Restaurant design typically involves a set of activities that come together to create a space that wears the crown not only in form, but also in function. In other words, space that not only looks visually appealing, but is very relaxing as well.

The project is to come up on a 9.42-acre expanse close to Tiruchi- Madurai National Highway under the purview of Tiruchi Trade Centre Private Limited, a private limited company, formed by the Tiruchi District Tiny and SmallScale Industries Limited to mobilize the share of the in dustrialists. The objective of the Project is to provide the convention Centre with a facility of high quality capable of serving the region. The facility will be emblematic of the civic ambitions of the region and reflective of the unique architectural regional language of South India. The design should be embraced by the community and be a focus for celebration and civic events. The proposed site is within the former Central Bus stand Trichy. The proposed site has an approximate area of 35Ha. This site area has been determined based on the requirements of functional ar rangement required for the project rather than being an existing land parcel. The site boundary is undefined at the time of preparation of the brief.
