COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR ART & ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS 1
• As being an Arts (Architecture)student, students face numerous challenges, including a lack of proper interaction spaces for knowledge exchange. There's a need for training centers, standard competition spaces, interaction seminars with experienced professionals, and exhibition/event spaces for art and architecture-related work.
• Colleges offer limited scope, primarily tied to students' chosen courses. However, a common platform for interdisciplinary learning could expand their horizons and nurture a more holistic approach, vital for future success.
• Architecture revolves around exploration, experience, and communication, yet no adequate platform exists beyond colleges. Establishing a platform where various art-related fields collaborate can foster creativity and comprehensive learning, providing students with the resources they need.
• This initiative would facilitate knowledge sharing, guidance from experts, and collaborative learning, all essential for arts students. A community center for art and architecture would encourage creative collaboration, fostering relationships and nurturing students' passions and interests.
SITE LOCATION:
• As the topic which I chosen in Thesis was related to students of arts & architecture colleges so the site selection was done in in such a way that all the Architecture colleges mapped to a get a ideal location where all the colleges of students can come together.
• Finding of common zone that has a all types of accessibility and facilities and mostly in city centre will be a at most recognisable and identified by all art & architecture colleges.
• We find common zones in Mehdipatnam & banjara hills. As we have more colleges in the stretch of banjara hills that will be the ideal location for community not only consideration of colleges considering transport and facilities Banjaahills will be ideal location for community centre

• In the urban context, the site's relationship with its built and unbuilt surroundings is unique. Most of the site's surroundings are already developed, and the government has reserved this particular site for public use, making it a rare oasis of greenery in contrast to its urban environment.
• Situated in a public zone, the site is primarily surrounded by mixeduse buildings, reflecting the bustling nature of the area. It is noteworthy that this site is located in a hilly area, adjacent to a busy road that connects to the main areas of Hyderabad, making it an important and accessible location in the city.
• The surrounding land uses around the site are quite diverse, encompassing various types of buildings and public spaces. These include residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, hotels, and the prominent KBR Park.

A-HUB BLOCK CONCEPT
THE MAIN GOAL OF THE BUILDING WAS TO ACHIEVE SELF-SUSTAINABILITY AND MINIMIZE MAINTENANCE COSTS. IT WAS PRIMARILY INTENDED FOR STUDENTS TO ENSURE ECONOMIC ACCESSIBILITY FOR ALL USERS. TO ACHIEVE THERMAL COMFORT AND CREATE A MICROCLIMATE, PASSIVE COOLING STRATEGIES WERE EMPLOYED, AND SKYLIGHTS WERE USED FOR NATURAL LIGHTING. THE BUILDING DESIGN PRIORITIZED A STRONG CONNECTION TO NATURE AND GREEN SPACES TO MAKE THE MOST OF THE AVAILABLE SPACE.
• THE FORM IS CONCEPTUALIZED FROM THE BASIC RESPONSIBILITY OF INTEGRATED THE CORE SPACES AND IMPLORE AN EFFECTIVE CO-ORDINATION OF ITS FACILITIES THERE -IN
• THE PRIMARY CONCEPT OF THE BUILDING REVOLVES AROUND TRANSFORMING AN OPEN SPACE CONNECTED TO A COURTYARD INTO A FUNCTIONAL WORKING AREA FOR STUDENTS.
• BEGINS BY IDENTIFICATION OF THESE CORE SPACES WITH SIMPLE REPRESENTATIVE BLOCKS.
• A SUGGESTIVE SCALING OF THESE BLOCKS TO DISTINGUISH THEIR SIGNIFICANCE BLUE BLOCK IS THE LARGEST . BEING THE MAIN SPACE – SOCIAL ZONE
• SUBTRACTING BLOCKS WAS A STRATEGY TO SEAMLESSLY LINK INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SPACES WHILE ESTABLISHING A MICROCLIMATE WITHIN THE BUILDING.
• THE COURTYARD PLAYED A PIVOTAL ROLE AS A CLIMATE MODERATOR, WHILE THE GREEN SPACES INDOORS FILTERED LIGHT. THE VOIDS IN THE BLOCKS FACILITATED A STACK EFFECT, PROMOTING NATURAL LIGHT AND VENTILATION THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING.

• As the Design project was a staff housing the main aim was to achieve enegry efficency building in order to achieve that the design process was done.
3. in order to provide an interation spaces and co-connected spaces a mezzanine floor have been implemented in design inorder to have chill out area in each and every unit.

SITE CONTEXT:
This site has 6m wide single lane road surrounded on three sides of site The site can be access through JBR Campus which is conneted to chevella highway road. Around the site there are few JBR collges with in the campus and hostels around it.
SITE TOPOGRAPHY: This site is flat Terran with gentle slopes.
• Segrigation of areas was done in such a way that got get connected with nature and as per the requirmens.
• Spaces were divided as into clusters and an amenities block.
1.Each and every unit has evolved by considering the requirments and and making more connected with nature and transparent and interation.
• In order to achieve maximum amount of light & ventilation the clusters were angled to 45 Degrees towards NW.

BRIEF: The Government of Telangana has created 21 new districts in 2016. Nirmal is etched out of erstwhile Adilabad District. It has an existing civil court which is not sufficient for the fast-growing district. Nirmal which boasts of a rich cultural heritage seeks to have a District court very representative of the cultural imprints of the area.
This studio focuses on the design of a district court located aptly on the edge of Dharmasager lake whcih forms a very strong context for court.

3.Required Amenities within the court building.
4.Judges entry shoud be private & secure inorder to avoid life threats.
5.Lawyers entry should be semi-private.
6.Seperate entry for criminals.
• As this is of a court building that shoud have more secure and in order to maintain the comfort for users Passive cooling techinique was incorporated in the design in the form of court yards which allows the light & ventilation.
• Zoning of spaces in blocks are done in such a way as per the users typology.
• Barrier free design for physically challenged people.

PERIMETER OF SITE: 3.21 Kms
SITE CONTEXT :
• Site is a farming land and converted into commerical land and a town was developing with in it and it falls under ORRGC.
• Trees and shrubs nad hardscape structures around and in the site and there were few High tension towers and bhagiratha water supply system was present
• Main approach road to site was ORR road which is of 50M wide
• Around the site there are existing roads which is of 7m & 9m wide
• As site is an open area, wind flow may lead dust into site.
• Airplane sound ranges -10km
• Less traffic of vehicles that in city of hyderbad
TOPOGRAPHY: Site was a countour land
TYPE OF SOIL: Red chalk soil is found in the site.
