Fly to new destinations with Safi Airways Kabul, 9th September 2014: Safi Airways, the privately owned international airline of Afghanistan will soon be starting operations from Kabul to Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the international route and from Kabul to Kandahar on the domestic route. Mr. Farid Nazari, Afghanistan Country Manager of Safi Airways commented, “The flights between Kabul and Riyadh will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with a two cabin configuration, business and economy class. The Airbus will offer 12 business class seats and 132 economy class seats, providing comfort and style with our new catering services. The expatriate Afghan community will have direct flights on Safi Airways from Afghanistan to Riyadh and Kandahar to Dubai with convenient connections at value for money pricing. We are in the process of scheduling our rotations according to market demands and awaiting government

approvals” Mr. Nazari stated. Mr. Ali Wahedi Afghanistan Country Commercial Manager Safi Airways stated, “We are delighted that we will be able to meet our customers’ demands by having direct flights between Kabul and Riyadh. This is great news for our customers who travel on this route round the year.” Mr. Wahedi stated. Safi Airways is committed in maintaining uncompromising international safety standards and complying with the strict ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) regulations. Safi Airways operates a modern fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. The airline currently operates flights to Dubai, New Delhi, Islamabad and Jeddah on the international route network and flights to Herat and Mazar e Sharif on the domestic sector.
