CAPX Resources CAPX Student Advising CAPX staff and our team of Faculty Career Advisors offer highly personalized coaching sessions to help SAIC students develop and implement their career and job search strategies. We can teach you to identify your strengths, skills, and values, and we can assist you in exploring career options including residencies, fellowships, and grants; connecting with alumni and professional networks; developing professional portfolios and establish an online presence; and applying for internships, jobs, and other professional opportunities. CAPX Toolkit: Explore industry-specific résumé and cover letter samples, best practices for creating a powerful online presence, tips on writing your artist’s statement, strategies for professional networking, and more. Teaching Assistantships (TAs): Teaching Assistantships in most SAIC studio and academic departments are available to graduate students. Semi-annual application deadlines and information on how to apply are posted online in the spring and fall.
