Expert Exchange offers students and alumni the opportunity to consult individually with creative professionals and Chicago business leaders about venture ideas and future careers. Held on Fridays during the fall and spring semesters, Expert Exchange is a great opportunity for students to gain industry insight and career advice as well as answers to specific questions.

SAIC students have two ways to earn course credit for internships. Both options provide students the opportunity to extend their education beyond the classroom and gain experience in professional arts-related environments. You can participate in an internship during the fall, spring, or summer semester.

• CAPX Internship 4001 incorporates 210 hours of work with individualized advising with a faculty member.

• Professional Practice 3900: Internship as Professional Experience is a weekly two-hour class that includes a minimum of 150 hours of work experience.

You are required to have secured an internship by the add/drop deadline to receive credit for ProfPrac 3900.
