hope every enjoyed their Holiday and didn’t eat too much as these next two months are yet to come. Our November was very busy and exciting. We had a great time at our SSUM meet in Tampa. We welcomed our Grand Lady Diana to our Stated Meeting and then gave her a tour of Sahib Shriners and a fun special lunch. Lady Kay you did a great job. I was invited to speak at the Men’s Luncheon on October 27, and I truly enjoyed it. I hope they have now a better understanding of just what we do and have fun doing it. As of now, I believe we will have voted on four new candidates. Please purchase your tickets from Lady
Brenda for our annual Christmas Party (bring your spouses, friends and neighbors.) Lady Barbarann will have her Fashion Show tickets and, there again, invite your friends and neighbors. She has something very special up her sleeve. We all need to keep everyone in our prayers. We have had a lot of illnesses and we lost our Lady Carol Munson. I want to thank our memorial team for being there when they have been needed and to those who volunteered to fill in. It takes all of us to make this a great court. Until next month, stay happy, healthy and drive safely if you are going away for the Holidays.

aughters of the Nile, Nyla Temple No. 152 is growing. New petitions are coming in, also reinstatements. Come join us as we work for the Shriners Hospitals for Children, with donations and Kits for Kids. (Thanks, Laverne for all you do for this project.) Seems impossible that the Daughters of the Nile have given over 56 million dollars to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Our next meeting will be Thursday, November 3 at Scottish Rite, 10:30 a.m. Looking forward to seeing all members there.
A fundraiser for Nyla Temple will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016, starting at 5:00 p.m. It will be a soup party with various soups to try, dessert, tea and coffee. A real treat for only $10 per person. For reservations, call Lady Laverne Mimms at (941) 378-4950 or Deanie Jacobi at (941) 727-0150. You can pay at the door. Looking forward to seeing Shriners, Masons and their ladies.
